Love Me Like You Do

“Good morning sunshine!” I heard Mia’s joyful voice ringing through my ears as she opened the curtains in my bedroom.

“Ugh noooo…so bright ugh” I moaned and groaned. I am so not a morning person.

“Time for our London adventure to begin!” Mia exclaims and pulls me off the bed as I sat up, “I have an itinerary for us on my phone so all we need to do is get ready and go”. I did not know how Mia can be so happy and energetic in the morning. I only wish I could be like her but I am stuck with lazy old me. Mia and I began getting ready for an eventful day ahead which consisted of going across the Tower Bridge to Westminster Abbey, having lunch somewhere, then the London Eye.

“I already know that this is going to be the greatest trip ever” Mia admitted as we got into a taxi to go to the iconic Tower Bridge. There were already tons of people out and about and it was only 10am in the morning. Back home when it is the holidays, I would still be in bed at this time honestly. We walked across the Tower Bridge taking some selfies along the way.

“You totally want to get with Harry, don’t you?” Mia smirked at me.

“Well yeah, I mean, what girl wouldn’t? but it’s not up to us, it’s up to him, you can’t force him to like me in that way M, you just can’t” I explained to her.

“Kaz, you have to think positive here…no one is forcing anyone to do anything, Jackson will just introduce you to Harry and whatever happens, happens” Mia gave me a reassuring smile. I guess I believed her but I have no idea what Harry wants in his life. We got to Westminster Abbey and started taking more selfies trying to get it in the background. Mia also took a full body photo of me with the church in the background and I did it for her too.

“Where should we have lunch?” I asked Mia, assuming she already researched it.

“This way!” Mia grins proudly. I knew it. We followed google maps on Mia’s phone to whatever restaurant this was.

“Here it is” Mia says as we stopped in front of a nice little restaurant. We went inside and picked a table towards the back where it was quieter.

“This is nice M, good job” I praised her.

“Thanks Kaz, I’ll be right back, I’m just gonna go to the bathroom” Mia smiles and quickly goes. I picked up a menu and began reading it, being engulfed into the many delicious sounding foods they had.

“Hey there” A man’s voice suddenly said. I thought he was talking to someone else so I did not take any notice of it, not even taking my eyes off the menu.

“Hey Karen” The voice said again. This time I put down the menu when I heard my name and realised there was a guy towering over me now. I nearly had a heart attack when I locked eyes with him.

“H…Ha…Harry…Harry Styles?” I stuttered in awe. He smiles and sits down across from me which was supposed to be Mia’s seat, how awkward.

“Yeah, hi, Jackson’s little sister right?” He asks with the most beautiful smile on his face.

“Umm yeah, yeah I am, how did you know I was here?” I was dying to know how Harry Styles knew my whereabouts, or it could just be a coincidence, who knows.

“Jackson called me and told me to meet you here today” He explains himself.

“Wait what? Why would he do that? But my friend Mia…oh god…oh god…” I finally figured out that this was a set up. Mia and my brother must have set this up for us. I did not know whether to be grateful or angry with them. I decided to message Mia asking where she was.

Mia, where did you go???

I innocently smiled at Harry pretending everything was ok, putting my phone back in my handbag.

“Are you alright? Is this too sudden?” Harry’s smile turns into a concerned look.

“My brother set this up, didn’t he? I’m so sorry, I just can’t do this right now” I blurted out, about to grab my handbag and run off.

“Look, I understand, I don’t want to force you on a date or anything, I thought you knew about it, I’m so sorry, I’ll let you go” Harry says so understanding and caring, my heart totally swooned.

“Don’t be sorry, it’s not your fault, it was nice meeting you anyway…but umm…bye” I replied without sounding too flustered and nervous. I gave him an awkward smile and wave and ran out of the restaurant. I walked as fast as I could and as far away as possible from the restaurant not knowing where I was even going.

“Well, great” I said to myself huffing and puffing from walking what seemed like a marathon. I found an empty bench and sat down to text Mia.

I ran away. I know, I’m stupid but you could’ve told me! I wasn’t ready.

OMG Kaz! No way! It’s alright, I’m sorry, I’m on the way to the London Eye to meet your brother there, so where are you?

I don’t even know, I’ll text you back when I figure it out xx

I looked around for anything that would tell me where I was but there was too many people getting in my way of sight that I just gave up. Suddenly, I heard a beep coming from a car that had pulled up right in front of me on the road. The window rolled down and of course, it was him.
