complete and utter abuse
the naming.
“Do you have a name for your child yet mr.styles?” I really had to think hard. “No I don’t yet. Umm give me time to think.” The nurse just smiled, nodded and walked away. I was discussing names with Louis and then a new topic popped up. “Umm Louis, would you consider being the baby’s new father?” his facial expression changed from a neutral expression to the biggest smile I have ever seen.
His eyes started to get shiny with tears. Happy tears. “Yes. Of course!” he gave me a huge hug then we got back on the topic of names. “I have a good name!” he told me and I thought it was perfect. Louis went and got the nurse so I could tell her our decision.
“So you’ve thought of a name…”, “umm yes we have decided on… Umm… Darcy-Eva Styles” I was so happy that we thought of such a perfect name. The nurse went out of the room. I had tears welling up in my eyes I was that happy. As was Louis. The nurse came back with a certificate with Darcy’s name printed on it. I have been in the hospital for 15 hours. I was so tired and I could see that Louis was as well.
When the nurse came back and said that I would have to stay at the hospital for at least a week and that they could get a few blankets and a pillow for Louis if he would like to stay the night with me. He agreed and we ended up going to sleep straight away.
When I awoke it was about 8:00 and there were nurses around me waiting for me to wake up and one of the two was holding darcy-eva. “Oh mr.styles you’re awake. Um we have the matter of feeding her. Because this is an unusual situation and you haven’t produced milk, Darcy will have to start on formula straight away.” I understand what was going on and then they handed me darcy-eva and a bottle of what I guessed was formula. Her food.
The nurses told me how to do it and then it was I had to teach Darcy that it was for her to eat. She finally took the bottle after 20 minutes of trying. Then she seemed happy to take the bottle. I was so proud to see my baby eating her first meal right before my eyes. Then Louis woke up. With that, the nurses left me with Louis and the new addition to the family, Darcy-Eva.

You could title it "a new beginning" or "a fresh start"
