The Contract

Luke's P.O.V.
I woke up while Dani was still sleeping peacefully. I gently moved to not disturb her. As I found my way to the kitchen I bumped into a crying Rae.
"What's wrong?"
"I just miss Mikey, and you're here, and he's not all because the drama. I almost want the hardships if it meant seeing him." she sobbed.
"No, you don't. You saw what it did to Dani. I didn't want to put her through that at all. This contract relationship can be bullshit, trust me."
"I guess. I just want him here."
"Soon. How about we make some breakfast and see if that helps." I smiled, and so did Rae.
"We'll make mine and Dani's favorite pancakes."
"Which is?"
"Chocolate chip." she replied like a little kid.
When breakfast was almost ready Dani came groggly down the stairs.
"Morning." she grumbled.
"Morning." Rae and I responded.
"Oooooooh, my favorite." she smiled.
"I'm gonna unpack today, what spotlight thing are you two going to do?"
"Dani is going to show me around the house, then a day on the lake." I smiled.
"That." She concured, Raegan chuckled.
"Well have fun love birds."
"Let us know if you need anything." I replied, before finishing up and headin to the shower.

Dani's P.O.V.
"Well you've practically seen the whole house, so what are we doing on the lake? We don't have a boat, canoe, or anything fun."
"No?"
"Lukas."
He just smiled, "Get a swim suit and meet me downstairs."
I met Luke at the shore where he stood next to a small boat, like from the Notebook.
"You're spoiling me."
"It's all a part of the plan." he smiled, holding his hand out for me to take.
"Aw, I thought you were being genuine." I joked.
"C'mon, beautiful."
We stepped into the boat and sailed into the middle of the lake.
"God, this view is amazing." I gasped, taking it all in.
"You're telling me." Luke blushed.
"Hemmings." I blushed back.
"So tell me what I've missed."
"We're friends with Vanessa now. I'm pretty sure her and Ryan are together for sure, but not telling us. Raegan is in a funk without Mikey. Oh, and we have a new house." I smiled.
"Friends with Ness, huh? Never would've guessed. They'd be an alright couple. Ryan still gives me creep vibes. Mikey misses her so much he's in a funk too. Oh, and we're on a headlining tour."
My heart sank remembering Luke doesn't know any of the stories I've told him once before.
"How's tour?"
"Lonely." he chuckled.
"You're with your three best friends."
"In different hotel rooms every night. And with the love of my life what feels like a million miles away." he sighed.
"Hey, I'm right here. Always." I spoke, putting my hand to his chest.
"You're perfect." he smiled, leaning in closer.
I could feel his warm breath on my lips.
"Promise?" I smiled, leaning even closer.
Luke kissed me softly, then more intensely. The boat started to go sie to side from our uneven weight in the middle.
"Oh god." I jumped back.
"What? Scared to fall in?" He smirked.
"What?! No!"
"Good!" he smiled and evil grin before tipping the boat over.
Once I finally caught my breath I splashed Luke in the face.
"That was almost romantic."
"Oh, Dani the drama queen. Live a little." he laughed, before swimming closer.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, "You drive me nuts."
"Good." He smiled, kissing me again.

"Babe!" Luke shouted while I was in the shower.
"What's up?"
"New headlines!"
I practically jumped out of the shower to see pictures of Luke climbing my balcony captioned 'The New Troy and Gabriella?', then pictures of us in the boat 'Noah and Ally? Nope, just Dani and Luke.' And of course once we tipped the boat, 'Luke and Dani are the 'reel' deal'.
"Good news?" I hesitated.
"I think so." Luke replied, kissing me softly.
"Mmm." I hummed.
"Hmm?"
"More." I whispered.
Luke's kisses went from my lips, to my neck. I followed suit.
"More." He groaned.
I slipped his shirt off and traced his abs lightly. He undid my towel gently.
"Well that's just not fair." I smiled, undoing his pants.
Luke pulled me close, and I wrapped my legs around him before he gentl set me on the bed and kissed my waist and thighs.
"Mmm, Luke." I moaned.
He didn't stop. Things got more intense as he ran his tongue along my hips and then down.
Soon, Luke was slipping inside of me.
Before I could scream he covered my mouth, "shhh." he smirked.
"I love you." I moaned.
"I love you too."
I woke up the next morning to a note 'Had to go. I didn't want to wake my sleeping angel. I'll see you soon, my love. -Lukas'
And just like that, Luke was gone.
