Cat & Mouse
I pointed my knife directly at their throat, & attempted to stare down the face under the hood.
"What do you want, Creep?" I spat, receiving a dark chuckle from the figure.
"Ooo, looks like I've got a fighter tonight." It was definitely a man. No woman could have a voice that deep.
"What are you on about?" I asked, getting irritated.
He chuckled again, making me shiver, & lowered his hood. I stopped breathing for a second, he was..
Gorgeous.
Dark, curly hair, Emerald eyes, & ivory skin. He had his t-shirt sleeves rolled up, & what looked like a tattoo on his arm. He smiled at me, a flash of white pointy teeth, & I snapped back to reality.
"What are you?" I asked him, fear clear in my voice.
"You'll find out soon enough." He smirked, & began walking towards me. I backed away, still pointing my knife at him.
"Back off, I'm warning you. I'm not like the defenseless chicks you see in horror movies. One, I've got a knife. Two, I can snap you like a twig, if it comes down to it." I threatened, my voice shaking a bit, more from anger than fear. I just wanted to go home & sleep.
"That knife won't do you much good, I can promise you that. & As far as 'snapping me like a twig'. I highly doubt you'll be able to even make me bleed." He grinned, still advancing, his emerald eyes laughing menacingly at me. I swung my knife at him, trying to atleast scratch him, but he caught me by the wrist.
"Ah ah ah" He wagged his finger at me. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." He twisted my arm, making me cry out, & drop my knife. It clattered to the sidewalk & he kicked it away.
"Hey, Asshole! That was a good knife.." I whined. He just laughed & twisted my arm even more, turning me around in the process so my back was to him. He pinned my arm to my back & I whimpered, nearly in tears.
"Watch your tongue.." He growled in my ear. "Now, behave, or you might loose this arm." I could hear the smile in his voice.
"Ow.. Fine.. What do you want?!"
"I want to play a game." He whispered, I shuttered violently.
"What are you? Jigsaw?"
"What did I say?" He twisted my arm even more, and I screamed. I was sure it was going to be broken by the time I were done here. Not that it mattered, I'd probably be dead by morning.
"Alright, alright! We'll play." I agreed through gritted teeth, while tears streamed down my face. To my surprise, he released my arm.I yanked it away & cradled it to my chest. Nothing was broken, but my wrist was definitely sprained.
"Good girl." He praised, while placing his hands on my hips.
"Now, what kind of 'game' did you have in mind?" I decided to play along, maybe if I did as he asked, he'd let me go. Or atleast go easy on me. He laughed, darkly, & dug his nails into my hips.
"Cat & mouse.." I gulped. "I'll be the cat, you, the mouse. You run away, & I chase after. & I'll even make you a deal."
This guy's nuts..
"& What would that be?"
"If you can out run me, I'll let you go, & I'll never bother you again. I'll even give you a head start."
"& If I don't?" I already knew the answer to that question, but I wanted to see if he would prove me wrong.
"Use your imagination.." He purred. Nope, I was definitely right. & Now I was shaking. "Do we have a deal?"
"Yes.." I whispered, terrified, & nodded.
"Good, now.. Run." He growled, lips against my ear.
& I took off, like a shot.
