Hello, Darcy.

Snow White.

That beautiful face, almost like an angel. Sleeping so innocently. With her features making her look as if she's a goddess. Pure dark chocolate brown hair and ruby lips, skin as pale as snow. She is one lucky child, blessed with everything she ever needs. Though one thing was missing in her life. And as she wakes up after a peaceful and happy slumber, reality hits back. Confusion strikes her once again...

My eyes fluttered open, instantly looking over to the windows. The day was gloomy and rainy once again, of course I loved days like this. Always so soothing and relaxing. A smile was put on my face, but clearly once again a frown was slapped back on and I jumped out of bed and raced into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror as usual, I scoffed at my appearance and gave an evil chuckle. "Pathetic." I snapped. I shook my head as I opened the little drawer beneath the sink. Towels burried over eachother, I finally found the three sharp blades hidden under the last ivory face towel. My hand shook as I reached for one. I quickly turned on the sink, and tapped the blade over my left wrist. A new cut for a new day. I began sliding it down slowly, trying to sink in the deep feeling. A line of fresh blood dripped down all over my arm, and a line of painful tears strolled down my cheeks. I couldn't take the pain any longer. A quivering whimper escaped my mouth and I dropped the razor of the sink. My blood covering the sharp metal. I ran my wrist under the water as I held covered my mouth from screaming and whimpering from the stinging pain. Every single day was like this now, every single day... This is a routine.

I went back to lie back in bed, of course crying and pouring out the salty tears. I didn't have a reason as to why I cut or cry every morning. Actually there is, confusion and low esteem always seemed to always crash over me everyday. With my mother telling me I'm beautiful, I know she's lying. She just feels pity for me. I feel different, like I don't belong here. Sometimes I wish that I could just be put into a death bed, but I know that I'm still living for my Mum, just to make her happy, even though I'm not. Another tear strolled down after the last thought. But I stare blankly out the window, at the gloomy sky. My life is gloomy. "Darcy?" Mum called out. I quickly wiped away the tears from my cheeks, her footsteps growing closer to my door. I turned to face the window as I heard the door creak open. "Darcy?" She asked. Thank God, I cut about an hour ago and she wouldn't see the fresh blood. The cut slowly looking like a scab, of course I don't tell her that I cut. It's either an accident or I just hide it with a bunch of bracelets. I forced a smile on my face and turned around to face her, only her head peaking through the crook.
"Morning, Darling." She smiled.

"Morning, Mum." I smiled back.

"Are you ready for school?" She asked. Oh crap, I forgot. Shit, I hate school so much I just cringe at the thought of it, that's why I always forget.

"I u-um, not feeling so well." I lied and placed my arm around my stomach, pretending to have a little pain. Her smile dropped instantly, of course she wasn't buying it.

"Darcy, you've missed school for the past 5 days in a row and the school isn't buying my excuses." She sighed and placed her palm over head forehead. "Come on, only 8 hours, go get dressed, I'll drive you."

I groaned and rolled my eyes. "Come on, don't have much time." She added. "I'll be downstairs, and if you're not down in 7 I will drag you." Gee, what a nice mothergoose.

I turned around back to the vanity and pulled the first drawer out. I picked up a pair of black skinny jeans and a gray longsleeve, quickly stripping my pajamas and slipping on the new clothes. I then reached under the bed and grabbed a pair of black and white distressed converse. I wasn't the most stylish person around, but I guess I don't care anyways.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I took the last step down and heard clapping. I saw Mum standing by the door. "Congratulations, you made it!" She sarcastically said. "Haha." I mocked and rolled my eyes. "Since you don't have enough time to eat, I'll just give you money on the way to school and go eat breakfast there." She said and looked over her watch. "Ready?" She asked.

Of course, here I was as usual. "School". The place I like to call hell. I don't mind the teachers really, it's just the pathetic ignorant students. This doesn't even feel like school. Once I reach the gates, boys and girls are constantly snogging and banging up on eachother. Slut house. "DARCY!" A sharp voice called behind me. I stopped at my tracks and saw my bestfriend Chelsea, running after me. "Wait. Up. Don't. Walk. So. Fast." She said in between breaths and she stopped in front of me and gasped for air.

"I walk that fast?" I asked. She nodded and still tried to catch her breath, I chuckled whilst it looked like she was gagging. Overexaggerating. Chelsea is my bestfriend, bestfriend since elementary and basically my one and only friend. The only I can complain to about the pathetic ones in our domain. She's like my sister, and the sibling I never had. She grabbed my wrist, and finally got a hold of herself.

"You alright now Pippa?" I chuckled. I always called her Pippa because she acts really posh and dramatic. Of course, she hates it when I call her that and doesn't know exactly why I call her that. "Yes, chummy." She glared. "Come on, we will be late to English." She said and we hooked our arms together.

A paperball was instantly thrown at my face the minute we walked into class, this class was like a zoo. No one could ever be controlled. God, do these people have parents that control them? "You alright?" Chelsea laughed. "Of course, Pippa." I smiled. Another was thrown at my head again. "HEY,PAIGE!" a voice called out. Then I saw perverted Luke Peters, waving his hand at me, winking. He was the one that threw the paper ball. "Go find someone else you can shag." I called out. His whole table oo'd as Chels and I made our way to the back where our seats were. We both set our bags on the table and settled down. "Since when did Luke Peters have a thing for you?" Chelsea whispered. "Shut up, Chels." I muttered rolling my eyes. "I'm okay with that since you called me by my real name." She said.

"Alright Students!" A voice yelled out. It was Mr. Allen. I feel bad for this teacher, he's too nice and sadly he can't control his own class.

"EVERYBODY SHUT UP!" Someone called out. Then finally the room went silent, props for that person.

"Thank you, Ms. Mason." Mr. Allen said. "We only have little time to spare and... I guess you can have a free period." He sighed. Everyone cheered and there went the flying papers again.

"What are you doing after school today?" Chelsea asked applying chapstick.

"Nothing as usual, you?" I asked.

"Having cousins from France coming over, going to have some "family" dinner." She quoted with her fingers. "Want to join?" She asked.

"No, I can't sorry, I mean that's your family and I wouldn't want to di-"

"Darcy, you're basically family now everyone loves you, even my dog." She chuckled. I let out a little chuckle. "Please for me? I want you to meet my cousins as well." She begged.

"Fine, alright." I said, Chelsea let out a non-human squeal and squeezed me tight. "Thank you thank you thank you!" She said in delight.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The day didn't seem to progress nor get sunny, nor did it rain at all. Although Thank God, it didn't rain for Chels and I were walking home.

"So, what do I have to wear tonight? Something fancy, or can I just come in my pajamas?" I asked sarcastically.

"Silly, silly bird it's just a family dinner Darcy." She said.

"Exactly, aren't family dinners really like fancy and all?" I asked. She gave me a confused look.

"You've never been to a family dinner?" She asked surprised. She then stopped herself from talking any more after her question, she knows. "Oh, right I'm sorry Darcy I didn't think of what I was saying-"

"Chels, it's fine." I smiled and stopped at my tracks as we were in front of her house. "We're here." I said.

"Alright, see you later and you better be here!" She shouted as she ran to her door.

"See you!" I said back.

I walked a few more blocks down and finally saw my house. I sighed in relief, walking was hard. But my attention was then turned to the fancy black looking car parked in front of our house. I furrowed my brows in confusion. Must be a neighbors car, I thought to myself. I walked over the pebbles in the front lawn and grabbed the keys of out my pocket and opened the door. "Mum, I'm home!" I shouted. "In the kitchen!" She yelled back. I dropped my bag on the couch and walked over to the kitchen. "Mum, there's a black car in the front of the house, do you know who it i-"

"Hello, Darcy." A deep husky voice called from the corner.
