"Yes,according to the half dozen tests I took I am. Em what am I gonna do?"

"Well for start tou have to tell Niall" I tell her

"Ugh I don't want to tell him until I know for sure"

The Next Day:

Tessa comes over to my house and I drive her to the free clinic on the other side of town. I told Harry we are going to the mall so he wouldn't suspect anything. When Tessa and I arrive we go check in and she fills out some papers then we wait.

"Thanks for coming with me" Tessa turns to me

"Of course Tessy, you're my best friend I wouldn't miss it for the world." I rub her arm

"Tessa Carrera" the nurse calls out.

We both get up and follow her to the back where she leads ua to a small room. Tess climbs up onto the table so the nurse can take her vitals.

"Ok the doctor will be in soon" she says closing the door.

We dont have to wait very long, 10 minutes at most.

"Hello I am doctor Paskil, how are you today... Miss Carrera is it?"

"Um yeah that's me.. I'm ok i guess. Just nervous"

Doctor Paskil rechecks all of Tess's vitals then calls for the nurse to do some blood work and for Tessa to pee in a cup. When she gets back the doctor asks her a bunch of questions about her family health history, diet and periods. She of course can't remember when hsr last one was so the doctor orders an ultrasound to see how far along she is. The nurse takes us to a different room. Its dark with a huge machine, TV, bed and a chair. I sit in the chair next to the bed while Tess lies on the bed.

"Hello dear my name is Darla i'll be doing your ultrasound today. I'm goimg to have you hold your shirt up just a bit. I'm going to put some of this warm jelly on your abdomen then use this small device called a Doppler to see inside of your womb" The new nurse tells Tessa.

Tessa shakes her head ok as the nurse puts the gel on her belly. In an instance a black and white picture pops up on the screen. I can see two things on there that are the shape of a peanut.

"What are those you are measuring?" I ask

"Oh these here.... These are Tessa's babies" the nurse tells us.

"What? Babies? As in two?" Tessa shrieks

"Yes dear you are having twins."

Tessa starts to sob as she props up to see the screen.

"Those.... They.... My babies" she stutters

"Yes ma'am congratulations. By the measurements you seem to be 10 weeks pregnant. Now you do have options if you wish to not keep them. Its all up to what you want to do?" The nurse says

"Like what?" I ask

"Well there is abortion which terminates the pregnancy and there is adoption" The nurse says

Tessa is silent for a moment before she says she is keeping them. The nurse congratulates her again and gives her a sample of pre natal vitamins. When we leave we stop to get something to eat before going back home.

"So when are you gonna tell Niall?" I ask

"Um... Tomorrow... I'll tell him tomorrow." Tessa says nervously.

After we get done we get back in my car and go home. Tessa complains the whole way because she is sick to her stomach. As soon as I stop in the driveway Tessa jumps out and runs for the bathroom.

Just ahead of the house I see Harry putting boxes in the back of my dad's truck. I get out and walk over to him.

"Hey love how was the mall?" He hugs me tight

"Oh uhh it was good." I lie

"What's she in such a hurry for?"

"Oh Tess she had to pee really bad" i laugh

"Ahhh, so i'm not suppose to say anything but your father and Elijah are moving" Harry tells me

"What? Did he say why?"

"No but he said it would be safer for all of us if he does"

"Ok well i 'll deal with my dad later.but i have something to tell you too but you can not tell Niall"

"Alright what is it?" He asked

"It's Tessa. We didn't go to the mall... I took her to the doctor" I tell him

"Oh, well is she ok?"

"Harry.... She's pregnant.. Niall is gonna be a dad." I tell him quietly

I have cried so much today! I feel horrible for the Deakin/Tomlinson Family.. I lost my mom to leukemia when I was 15. The memory of that day has been playing over and over in my head... I am so proud of Liam and Zayn sending their condolences... :(
