- I don't believe this guy. - Nyssa commented.

A certain pink haired guy walked in, this time with a different friend. The new guy was tall, tanned with brown hair and brown eyes, he was a complete opposite of Nyssa's admirer. They sat down at the table in front of a window, right next to an elderly couple, but not before the pink haired guy waved to Nyssa and gave her a charming smile.

- Who? - The friendly bartender asked Nyssa.

- The one with pink hair. - She told him, while tying a maroon waitress' apron around her waist.

- You do know who that is, right? - The brown haired and brown eyed bartender with tattoos on his arms and a nose piercing, asked her.

- Yeah, the Michael Clifford. - She said, slightly rolling her eyes.

- And you're mad that he's here for you? - He asked her in disbelievment.

''Oh, that's my friend, Hunter. We've been working there together for about two years and we're also both photographers on the side. He's my closest...okay, who am I kidding... He's my only real friend here. Apart from each other and our models, not me nor Hunter associate with people much, but we don't mind... I'm glad I have him... He's the only person that hasn't left.''

- He's annyoing... And he's definitely not my type.

- Yeah, right. - He said sarcasticaly.

- I'm sorry, Hunter, love, what exactly do you know about girls? - Nyssa asked him.

''I know you're all curious, so I'm gonna get this straight right away: no, nothing ever happened between me and Hunter... Alright, fine, you caught me... We did make out once, but we were both completely wasted and we're so past that. We're just friends, best friends.''

- Not much, but I do know how guys think and I'm telling you, he's not just trying to get into your pants... Trust me. - Hunter told her.

- Yeah, alright, Dr. Phil. - Nyssa said before walking away.

She approached Michael's table wearing high waisted denim shorts, a simple white shirt that's she tucked in, a hot pink bra visible trough it, yellow converse high tops and her signature denim jacket. Her eyeliner was once again perfectly winged and her lucious lips were a dark shade of pink.

- What can I get you? - Nyssa asked them, her 'customer service' smile was on.

- Oh, hey, fancy seeing you here. - Michael said.

- Yeah, imagine that, I'm at work, just like yesterday, and you show up, just like yesterday. - Nyssa was trying to hold back her sarcasm.

- Yeah, small world.

His friend seemed to have been told everything, since Michael and Nyssa's backchat didn't faze him at all. He was observing them in silence, while trying to hold back his laughter.

- You know, playing dumb suits you. - Nyssa commented.

- That's not a nice way to talk to a customer. - Michael didn't seem offended, he was just making a statement.

- You haven't ordered anything, so technically you're not a customer, you're just a guy getting on my nerves. - Nyssa said, still not removing her 'customer service' smile.

A chuckle escaped his friend's mouth before he started completely laughing out loud. Michael looked at his friends with a dead stare, but his friend's laughter remained. Michael looked back at Nyssa.

- Well then I'd like to order an espresso. - Michael said with a smile.

He was persistent.

''He was annyoing, but... Nevermind.''

- I'll have a beer, thank you.

After taking their orders with a simple nod, Nyssa turned around and left.

A few minutes later Nyssa returned with their orders and just like yesterday she tried to leave as quickly as possible, but just like yesterday, it didn't work.

- Hang on! - Michael called out to her.

- What do you want from me? - Nyssa asked him, louder than she intended.

Before Michael had a chance to say anything, a man approached Nyssa from behind.

- Can I have a word with you? - He said in her ear.

''I hate that guy... That, my friends, is the pervert/manager that I told you about.''

After exhaling loudly, Nyssa turned around and followed her manager to a room in the back.

- What the hell was that? - The manager asked her once he closed the door, he was pissed.

- What the hell was what, Marc? - Nyssa asked him.

- You need to work on your attitude. - Marc said, threatening her with his finger.

- Fine. Are we done now?

- No, we're no... - He was interrupted by a knock on the door.

Not waiting for a response on the other side of the door, Michael walked into the room.

- There are no customers allowed here, sir. - In a seconds Marc's expresion changed from threatening to friendly.

Nyssa rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

- Yeah, I know, I'm sorry... I just wanted to make sure she wasn't in any kind of trouble, she didn't do anything. - Michael spoke to Marc, but he was looking at Nyssa the entire time.

''Creep.''

- Oh no, not at all. I just needed to have a quick word with her, that's all. - Marc said joyfully.

''Does he seriously think he's fooling anyone with that bullshit act?''

- Oh, okay. - Michael said.

Instead of leaving the room, like Marc expected he would, Michael continued standing there, awkwardly.

- You should go back to work now, we can continue our conversation later. - Marc told Nyssa with a plastered smile on his face.

''Am I the only one that finds everything that comes out of his mouth to be perverted?''

Michael and Nyssa left the room together.

- So your boss is kind of an ass. - Michael tried to make small talk, but failed.

''That was the first time I've seen him look nervious... Of course, that didn't last long... He was back to his douche self in a second.''

- Don't talk like we're friends. - Nyssa said.

- Well you could at least say thank you. - Michael said arrogantly.

''Told ya.''

- For what? You didn't do shit, you just postponed it.

''He acutally thought that I was a damsel in distress and that he was going to be my knight in shining armour.''

- Hey, you good? - Hunter interrupted their discussion.

- Yeah, it's just same old, same old. - Nyssa said and gave him a reassuring smile.

Hunter smiled back.

- You should go back to your friend. - Nyssa looked at Michael.

- Why are you so quick to reject me, you don't even know me? - Michael refused to leave, he needed to know.

Something in him couldn't let go of this girl.

''Hh.''

- I'm from London not the stone ages, I know who you are.

- You know of me, but you don't know me...and the guy of TV, that's not me. - Michael stated.

- Even so, I've learned enough these past few days to know that you're arrogant, narcissistic... - He cut her off.

- Go out with me tonight! - Michael yelled out of the blue.

- Fine! - Nyssa yelled back, surprising herself, Michael and Hunter.

''Mostly myself, trust me.''

- Fine? - Michael asked her in disbelievement, a shy smile on his face.

- Shit. - Nyssa said under her breath before answering him. - Yeah, fine. Just one date and then you leave me alone.

- Deal! - Michael exclaimed.

In all of his excitment, Michael approached Nyssa and hugged her tightly... But quickly let go of her and stepped back.

- Sorry, it's just... - Nyssa smiled slightly at his rambling. - Is that a smile?

- Get over yourself. - Nyssa lied.

He chuckled. He knew she was lying.

- Alright, so where do you...where should I pick you up? - Michael asked her.

''I can't say for sure, but I think he was blushing... Hunter certainly thinks so.''

- Just meet me here at nine. - Nyssa said, both emiotionless and expresionless.

Michael nodded enthusiastically and with a smile. He tried to make a cool exit, but all of that failed when he came running back to her after, very loudly, yelling 'shit'.

''I have to admit: that was adorable.''

- I kinda forgot to ask you... What's your name? - He asked, awkwardly.

''He was definitely blushing there... And I had trouble keeping a straight face.''

- Nyssa.

- Nyssa. - He repeated. - That's cool.

''I like the way h... Nothing, just carry on.''

They stood there in silence for a few seconds.

- Anyway, I should go back to Cal. - He said. - I'll see you tonight.

He gave her one last shy smile before turning around and returning to his table... But of course, he did turn around a few more times to look at her on his way back.

- Guess I got a date. - Nyssa told Hunter.

Hunter smiled.
