Chapter Eleven
Niall’s POV:
I can’t believe that Harry betrayed me like this. We were best mates. In the middle of my Inside-the-head rambling, I ran into a girl.
“Um, I’m sorry.” I said. The girl looked up. Ashley. Ashley Summers.
“Ashley?” I asked.
“Don’t be sorry. It was my fault.” She said pushing past me. Before I knew it I was grabbing her wrist and pulling her back.
“What.” She said.
“I’m sorry. For everything.” I said.
“Look, Niall. I’ve got to go. I have more important things to do than hear how sorry you are.” She said. That really hurt.
“C’mon, Ash. Don’t be like this.” I found myself saying.
“WELL HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO ACT?!” She shouted.
“LIKE MY BEST FRIEND!!” I shouted back.
“WHY SHOULD I? YOUR NOT MY BEST FRIEND, REMEMBER?” She yelled. “WHY DON’T YOU TRUST ME?”
“WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOU?!”
“BECAUSE OUR 18 YEAR LONG FRIENDSHIP SHOULD MEAN MORE THAN JUST HARRY TELLING YOU SOMETHING AND YOU BELIEVEING IT LIKE A NAIVE GIRL WHICH I KNOW YOUR NOT!!” I shouted back. She was strong for too long. The tears inched down her face.
“I’m sorry, Ash. Whether you choose to forgive me or not, I’m so sor-“ She cut me off by pulling me into a huge hug.
“I’m sorry too Nialler!” She whispered.
“Friends?” I asked.
“Forever.” She replied.
“Come. The boys missed you.” I said. She grabbed her back and started walking with me.
“Tryin’ to thieve my Ashley, I see.” Lucas said popping out of nowhere.
“Luc, it’s fine.” She said. We started to walk again until we got to my door.
”Stay here.” I said. She nodded. I opened the door slightly and shoved myself in. Harry must’ve been outside.
“Hey, guys. I have a surprise for you.” I said.
“Well, if it’s not Ashley than I might die.” Louis said.
“Okay!” I said pulling open the door. Ashley had the biggest smile on her face as she rushed in to hug the boys.
“Uh! You didn’t hug me!” I yelled.
“PUHLEASE NIALLER!” She yelled back.
“Hey, there is a Karaoke night tonight. Wanna come with us?” Liam asked Ashley. She started bobbing her head up and down.
***TONIGHT***
Ashley’s POV:
Once you get to the Karaoke place, you get told who your partner was going to be and lucky for me it was Harry. Just great. And better yet, he gets to choose the song.
“First couple up, Eleanor and Louis!” The man shouted. They got up and sang Islands In The Stream. Haha.
”And now we have, Niall and Katerina!” Who the fuck is Katerina? I saw this perky redhead pop up onstage with Niall. They started to sing A Whole New World from Aladdin.
“And up next…. Harry and Ashley!!!” The man said. Oh no. Apparently Harry had picked this slow love song.

1Derful. (A/N: See what I did there? No, okay.) I started out with,
“Ooh. Remember when I said, ‘I won’t miss you.’ The truth is that I do I never stopped thinking about you.”
“We are meant together the two of us are bound, now it seems like forever, I can’t get you off my mind.” He sang.
“If I could wish upon a star, then I would hold you in my arms. And I know we could love once again. If I could turn the hands of time. Then you would love me, still be mine. Baby, I would be right where you are, if I could wish upon a star.” We sang the chorus together, looking straight into each other’s eyes.
“It’s obvious and everyone can see that baby you and I are truly meant to be. But nothing turns out right. If only I could make you realize, if only time could give us just another chance. I’d prove it all to you.” I sang.
“If I could wish upon a star, if I could turn the hands of time, then I’d be in your arms again.”
“If I could wish upon a star, then I would hold you in my arms. And I know we could love once again. If I could turn the hands of time. Then you would love me, still be mine. Baby, I would be right where you are, if I could wish upon a star. If I could wish upon a star.” We sang together. The crowd snapped me out of my trance. I couldn’t take it. I ran off to the bathroom. That was just too embarrassing. I got in there. I hid for dear life until I heard his voice. “Ashley. I know you’re in here.” It was Harry. The guy I had just fell for again. I stepped out of my hiding place.
“Look, Ash. I’m sorry. Ever since you left, I, I haven’t been doing too well. I hate myself. I just do. I fucking screwed up everything and I just feel so bad about it.” He said. Wowza.
“But you know, I only did it because, Niall and you were together. I never wanted that to happen, Ash. I wanted you for myself. Your so beautiful, inside, and out. If I could wish upon those god damn stars, I would do it a million times, if it meant I could hold you one more time. Even if I could only hold your hand.” I couldn’t take it anymore and smashed my lips against his. I snaked my arms around his neck and he pulled me off the ground to the counter. Our lips moving, in sync, as he set me down on the counter.
