Double

Our anniversary was coming up in a couple of days and for the past month Niall has been raving about his big surprise. I've always been an impatient person so I never passed the opportunity to "casually" stumble upon a clue. Niall seems to be great at hiding, though, and I'm still clueless.

I'm wiping down the counters in the kitchen while Isobel plays in the living room when the sound of the door bell resonates through our home. I walk past Iso who's making a tower with blocks and head straight to the door. No one is outside just a white rectangular box with a pink ribbon on top sitting on our doorstep. I look around to see if anyone is to be found before picking it up. I take it inside and kneel before the coffee table setting it on top. Isobel's curious little hands immediately appear trying to open the box. I aid in helping her and reveal a blue dress with a note on top.

My dearest Wren,
I have our special day completely planned out and I've envisioned you in this dress all along. Please wear it on Wednesday.

I fold the note to set aside and pick up the beautiful dress by the sleeves. It is short with lace covering the top and sleeves. It looks very delicate and I wouldn't want Iso's wandering hands to get a hold of it and rip the lace so I put it back in it's box. I pick up Isobel and carry the box upstairs to our bedroom. Niall is always such a thoughtful boyfriend and I was so excited about his surprise that I completely forgot about getting something for him. I come downstairs, place Iso back in front of her toys, and grab my phone from the kitchen counter I was wiping down earlier. I instantly look for Finn's number and shoot him a text. Niall's ultimate hobby is playing golf and I know he'd enjoy a personalized set of golf clubs. The thing is, I know squat about golf. Since it's a hobby shared by the brothers I knew Finn would be the ideal helper.

Finn: What's the problem?
Wren: I was hoping you'd educate me a bit about golf clubs? They're for Niall so I'd like to keep this secret. :)
Finn: Sure, sis. Are we looking somewhere or online?
Wren: Either is fine.. You choose.
Finn: We can go to a shop tomorrow. Niall will be in a meeting so he'll never know.
Wren: Sound great, thanks!
Finn: Pick you and Iso up at 11?
Wren: Perfect. :)

So it was set, with Finn's help I will give Niall the perfect anniversary gift.

Crap, I never realized how short my chapters are. lol They'll probably get longer once we get into the good stuff later. Enjoy the fluff!
