Clueless | N.H.

"I-I..." I stuttered. What did he just say? Did I hear right?
"I'm sorry, Laura. If you don't feel the same way.." He started but I cut him off.
"Niall, I do. I do, but, I mean we only know each other for like 3 days." I said and smiled. Wow, I can't believe what he just said. I blushed hard.
"I know but we can get to know each other better?" He said hopefully and I laughed. He still expected the answer so I nodded.
Suddenly I was pulled in a hug by his big strong arms. I just melted into him and smelled his scent. Oh my god, he smelled heavenly. Like mint and Hugo Boss cologne. Electricity was burning me on my skin and I got goosebumps. He held me for couple of minutes which felt like infinity. It felt right, like our arms were meant for one another.
We broke our hug together and he gave me a smile. I started blushing again and he cupped my face with one hand. I was still surprised what had just happened.
Oh. My. God. His thumb travelled around my cheek and again I felt electricity through his hand. His eyes were locked with mine and the world stopped. I saw only his infinite blue eyes and felt his electric touch. Oh my god, that was heavenly. And then he leaned closer. My heart sank. Is he..? Oh no.
Then he kissed me on my forehead. My stomach was full of butterflies again. I had never felt more alive. That was the most beautiful thing that happened to me in my whole life. That kiss on the forehead.
"I think we should go. I have work tomorrow." I whispered to his shirt, because he still had his lips on my forehead. He quietly groaned and I chuckled.
"Okay, let's go." He said and we stood up. I was still in heaven because of him. Would I be able to drive? I hope we don't crash into some sign.
We reached the hotel and he paused before opening the passenger door. He just looked at me.
"I'll text you. Goodnight, love." He said almost whispering but it was all I could hear. He opened the door and exites the car.
What the heck just happened? I have never felt this kind of energy. Just pure connection between two souls. What am I thinking about now? Souls? Really Laura? Please use your smart head, your heart is just messing with you, because you haven't been in love for 4 years now. Wait did I just say love? Okay, I'm officially going crazy. What love? What is this? A feeling? I have a feeling? Is that even possible? Oh, maybe it is now. What I felt there in the park was pure magic. He put a spell on me. Maybe is that bad? All men are the same, right? Lying bastards that leave you. Is Niall like this? He certanly doesn't seem like them. Yet.
After 20 minutes of driving I entered my apartament. My feet were aching from high heels and I went to shower. When I came back to my bedroom I put on my comfy pijamas and turned on Fiends. I looked on my phone. Niall.

Niall: Did you arrive safely?
Laura: Yes Niall, don't worry. Safe and sound in my PJs.
Niall: Perfect. Good night, love.
Laura: Night, Niall.

He was just perfect. But again my head kept reminding me not to expect anything. And the heart-head argue started again as I started drifting in sleep. I had good gut and it was telling me something ain't right. Or was it too good and my gut was just surprised?
