Clueless | N.H.

We were driving in the car, with music on the full volume, singing out loud. I felt free and happy. With him, with Niall. He was so funny, attentive and nice. Just I liked it when I was with him.
There was Coldplay's Viva la Vida on the radio and we were singing. He had really good voice, why isn't he singing? Like professionally?
"Have you ever considered the fact that you could sing professionally?" I asked him and his eyes went wide.
"Um.. I.. Uh, no I didn't." he answered and stayed silent.
"So you like Coldplay?" he asked me after a few minutes and I nodded.
"I love them too!" he said and we laughed. We sang their other songs while we were driving for another half an hour.
We finally arrived in Strasbourg suburb and I started thinking about where to park and what I would show Niall in town. Maybe some old part of the town, parks and European Union seat.
"Let's go see the EU seat first, okay?" I turned to Niall and smiled. He nodded.
We parked the car in front of the building and took a walk around. There was a river and a park. It was beautiful spring day, a light breeze was messing my hair. We couldn't go in the building, because the visits were only for tourists who booked the visits.
I looked at Niall who was smiling. He was just wow. Again he wore the sunglasses and the baseball cap. I didn't know why was he wearing that all the time. I guessed he was attached to those. He was still handsome, his smile was magical and I could see his eyes shining through his sunglasses.
"It's beautiful here, Laura." He said after a long time while we were walking through the park. We sat on the bench with a look on the EU building. It was massive and magnificient view.
We moved closer to me and my heart started beating faster. He put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. I put my head on his chest and we just sat like this in silence for a long time. It felt right. My stomach was full with butterflies. I could be like this for a lifetime. I could feel his lips on my head again, I got deja vù. It was the same position in which we fell asleep. But it felt more real now, I was fully awake.
I knew I couldn't fool myself anymore. I liked him, really liked him. Like no one else before. I guess it's just the chemistry. I could feel it on my skin and in my heart. It was magical.
"Mmm, shall we go forward?" I muttered and he chuckled. I felt his chest vibrate against my back. We were so close.
We stood up and went to the car once again. I drove to the old part of the city, where I parked my car. All the way there we were quiet and it was a pleasant silence.
I showed him the old part of the city, we were walking through the narrow streets all day. I showed him a chatedral, some sweet shops and famous architectures. He payed attention to what I was saying about the town history, he looked very interested.
"You look so cute when you are a tourguide." He said to me when we were walking on the main square. My heart skipped a beat. Wow, he had just called me cute. I chuckled and blushed a little. Damn, the blush.
We went to a little french Café, where we ate some croisants and drank some coffee.
"So, is here a park somewhere too?" He asked me while eating.
"Yup, just a mile away. I'll show you." I answered and he smiled at me. Butterflies came back.
We walked out of the Café on the street. While we were walking I suddenly felt his hand reaching for mine. He tangled his fingers with mine and I almost melted. Oh my god, my heart was going to explode. I looked at him but he was already looking at me right in the eyes. I was enchanted again. He gave me a smile and I fell in love.
We walked in the park. There was a beautiful lake with a few swans. A paradise. We were alone and we took a walk around the lake.
In the shadow Niall suddenly stopped and turned to me. My heart was already exploding from before and now... My whole body was exploding. He released my hand and put his hand on my cheek. I felt a shiver.
He leaned closer and I thought my heart really exploded at that moment. He looked me straight in my eyes and I knew that was it.
He finally put his lips on mine and softly kissed me. He paused after a kiss, waiting for me to respond. Dear god. After my shock I finally responded with a kiss. My arms flew around his neck and I felt his hands wrapping my waist. My whole body exploded like fireworks and butterflies in my stomach went crazy. That was it. My dream finally got real.
