Harmed

I walk into the office as I'm searching for Ashley.
"Ashley?! Where's Bryan?!"
"I dunno." She answers not looking up from her papers.
"He needs to be ready in 10!"
"He'll be here soon enough Sierra! Stop stressing!"
"Why don't you try to run a magazine when you're models don't show up in time!"
"I am."
"You're doing the damn paperwork."
"It needs to be done."
I sigh.
"I'm sorry Ashley. Is at least the rest of it ready for next week?"
"Yup, we only need Bryan for front page and it can go."
"Good."
At that moment, Bryan walks in.
"Bryan, Where were you?!" I ask, irritated because he's so late.
"Missed me?" He smirks.
I sigh. He's such a flirt sometimes.
I still need to smile because of his stupidity.
"See, don't be so stressed out. Just smile and everything will be brighter." Bryan smirks while he turns around and walks to the dressing room.

"I better go after him before he does something stupid." I say to Ashley while I walk to dressing room.
"I want him in that suit." I say to Miranda, our stylist.
"Okay." She replies.

I walk to the room where the photos will be taken and see Erik preparing his camera.
"Ready?" I ask him
"Totally ready."
"Good."
At that moment Bryan walks in.
"And?" He asks turning around.
"Looking hot." I smile while I point at the space in front of the camera.
"C'mon, I don't have all day and you were already late."
"Take it easy, sunshine. Everything will be okay."

He poses for about an hour before I have some pics that I'm satisfied with.
"Thanks Bryan." I smile at him while We look at photos.
"Any time." He kisses my cheek and walks to his jacket.
"I gotta go tho, I'm having a lunch with Henry." He puts on his jacket.
"Sure, have fun!"
"You too." He smiles before walking out of the door.


When I'm finally home, I turn into my PJ's and jump on the couch. I watch a romantic movie that makes me think of Ashton. For 5 years I'm already thinking why I can't forget about him. Why everything reminds me of him. And why he just can move on while I can't. I didn't deserve this. What did I do to deserve this?
I sigh and turn off the tv. I walk to my room and lay down onto my bed. I drift off to sleep before I could even imagine how my life would be if I still would've been with Ashton.


~The next morning~

I wake up from a grumbling sound that appears to be my stomach. I walk downstairs and eat my breakfast. I sigh. Let's start another day at the office.


I walk into the office and, again, search for Ashley. When I find her, I ask,
"Ash. Is everything done for the upcoming number?"
"UhUh, I just need to let in check and then it can be published."
"Okay, and the number after that one?"
"We only need to have some photo shoots for that one."
"Good."
I walk to my office and start working.
Yes, this is how my life looks like now.
