-Emmy's POV-

I walk back to my house around 3pm. I hung around the park the whole day, going back now and with a little luck, my mum isn't home.


My phone buzzes as I walk into my street. I look up and see that I have a text message from Eddie.

Eddie: I just had a conversation with Tommy over the phone!!
Me: Yay!!
Eddie: Ikr? We talked for an hour. You gotta come over. Mia comes too.

Ow Ow, that's not going to be good. Poor Mia.. But I'm not going to let her sit on her own there.

Me: Okay, I'll come.
Eddie: Thank yoouu!!❤️❤️

So I turn around and walk to Eddie's. On the way my phone buzzes again. This time because of Luke.

Luke: you're still coming right?
Me: Yes.
Luke: Can I come over? I have a few hours until the show, I'm just done with sound check.
Me: I'm going to Eddie's. Sorry :(.
Luke: Don't mind, I'll see ya this weekend anyway ;).
Me: Okay, I gotta go, I'm there.


I stand for Eddie's door before pushing the doorbell. His mother opens.
"Hey Emmy. Nice that you are here." She smiles.
"Yeah, Do you know where Eddie is?"
"Where do you think?" She laughs.
"Devils." I nod my head.
"Go ahead." She motions with her head up.
"Thanks."

I walk up and Mia and Eddie are already there, just like his mother said.
"Hey Mia." I smile while I hug her.
Eddie is jumping around while singing and didn't notice me at all.
"How long is he jumping like that?" I ask Mia.
She lifts her shoulders.
"Since I got here." She answers.
I nod my head.
I run and jump on his back.
"Eddiiee!!" I yell.
"Emmyy!!" He yells back.
I jump off his back and he turns around to hug me.
"you're here!" He smiles.
"You told me to come so..."
"Oh my god, did you canceled something important so you could come here?"
"No, only Luke who wanted to come over, but I was already walking to you so.."
"But you can invite him here!"
"I don't know if that's a good idea.."
"Just do it, I don't mind. Maybe he can bring some cute friends with him." He smirks.
"what about Tommy?"
"That's not official yet."
I sigh, overthinking this.
"Fine." I agree finally.
"Yay!"

I grab my phone and text Luke.

Me: Eddie just said that you could come over, if you want to.

It doesn't take long before he replies.

Luke: Sure, you're still there right?
Me: Duh.
Luke: Okay, I'll come. Just text me the address.
Me: Okay.

So that's what I do. I text him the address and return back to Eddie and Mia.
"And? Is he coming?" Eddie asks.
"Uhu, I just text him the address." I reply.
"Did you text him that he needs to come to The roof?"
"Fuck. Forgot." I sigh while I grab my phone out of my pocket again.
"Let me do that."
He grabs my phone and begins to type.
"Eddie, Don't!" I try to get my phone back.
"And send." He smiles, proud of what he had done.
He hands me back my phone and I read what he wrote.

Me: Hey babe, just forgot to tell ya that we're at Devils. So don't mind knocking on the door ;). See ya soon<3 <3.


Oh My God.
"Eddie what the hell did you do?!" I ask while I turn my head to him.
"I helped you."
"No, you made it worse."
"No, I didn't."
I sigh.
"You're lucky that I love you too much to kill you." I shake my head.
Suddenly Luke replies.
"Fuck, he replied." I say.
"Oo, let me read." Eddie looks over my shoulder.

Luke<3: Uhh, okay, but what is Devils?

"Eddie, what did you do to his name?"
"I changed it, now let me help you again."
Again, he grabs my phone and types a message. He sends it and hands me my phone back.

Me: That's the roof babe <3.

I sigh and begin to type myself.

Me: I'm sorry for the last two messages, Eddie wrote them.
Luke: That explains a lot :').
Me: Yeah, are you coming?
Luke: I'll be there in a few 'Babe <3'.
Me: :').


"He'll be here soon." I tell them.
"Yay!!" Eddie says.

Mia has been awfully quiet. Eddie stands at the edge of the roof, waiting for Luke.
"Hey, are you okay?" I whisper.
"Yeah, it's just a little hard. All this time I thought that I had a chance, only to find out that he's gay."
"You didn't know?" I ask unbelievable.
"You did?"
I nod my head.
"Why didn't you told me?"
"I didn't know that you like him."
She sighs and at that moment Eddie begins to scream.
"Lukkeeeyy, your princess is over here waiting for her prince!!" He yells of the roof.
I walk to the edge and see Luke smirking while he looks up.
"Luke! You better come here because she's thirsty!!"
"Eddie!" I playfully push him back.
"Come quick!" Eddie yells before returning to the middle, sitting next to Mia.

After a few minutes we hear the door. I didn't pay much attention to it since I'm just so used to the sound of it. Suddenly I feel two arms wrap around my waist from behind and a head nuzzles itself in my neck.
"Someone said my princess was waiting and thirsty." ...
