Twitter has gone into meltdown after Harry Styles, member of boy band One Direction, posted a picture of his hand interlocked with his girlfriend’s. And in the picture, his girlfriend, Australian Bella Frost, is sporting a large diamond ring on her finger. Styles added the caption: ‘The wedding bells are ringing.’ but honestly, we didn’t need the caption. The picture told us everything.

Harry Styles Talk About Engagement And Reveals New Tattoo At The London Session
Last Saturday, talk show host James Corden presented The London Session, an intimate event only attended by One Direction competition winners. The boy band took part in a live interview as well as performing five songs off their album, titled Made In The A.M. During the interview, Corden brought up the subject of love lives, aiming specifically towards Harry Styles.
It comes eight days after Styles revealed his engagement to girlfriend, Bella Frost, on Twitter. His tweet is still being retweeted and favourited, the number continuing to go up and up. After Zayn Malik’s engagement ended, fans were sceptical of Styles’ engagement and if it was true or if it would last. However, it’s too early to say anything yet.
James Corden asked Styles about his engagement, marking the first time the subject has been addressed publically. Styles handled it with ease. “I know marriage is a big step, especially for someone my age. But I knew what I wanted. It was an easy decision for me to make. And on behalf of both Bella and I, we would like to thank all of the fans and all the people who have wished us happy messages. We couldn’t be more grateful.”
When asked about wedding plans, Styles kept calm and answered very vaguely. “We don’t know. We haven’t planned anything yet. We will probably talk about it during the break. Bella and I just want to enjoy our engagement for now.”

The One Direction boys are back in England for the BBC Music Awards two days from now but their singing is not the only matter being addressed in interviews. For the past month, Harry, Liam, Louis and Niall have travelling around America, England and Europe for performances of songs off their new album and promotional interviews. I know. I’ve been asked about it on literally every talk show we’ve been on. Harry laughed.
“I’ve seen the interviews on YouTube. You handled the questions so calmly.”
I told the truth. No point in making up a story.
“You actually made me tear up with some of the things you said.”

“They were happy tears. Always happy tears.” Bella smiled. She raised her left hand in front of her and stretched out her fingers, sending sparkles dancing across the diamond ring. It looked so expensive but she never asked Harry how much it cost. It wasn’t necessary. The only thing that mattered was the love Harry had poured into choosing the ring and proposing to her with it. Bella loved it from the first moment. He knows me very well.
“So, what’s planned for you guys?” She asked.
The BBC Music Awards are tomorrow night so we’re going to that. Then we’ve got The X Factor Grand Final on the 13th, performing on that as well. It’ll be our last performance together so it’ll be special.
“Wow, you have come so far. It seems fitting that your last performance is where you all did your first one.” Bella said.
I still find it amazing where we are now and what we’ve done. It’s crazy. By the way, where are you now?
“In our five-storey house.” Bella said bluntly.
All alone?
“Yes, well…no. My grandma, my mum and Ashley stayed over last night. But I’m by myself now. Ashley’s coming around after school though. She loves to play hide-and-seek. I almost freaked out the last time we played it. I couldn’t find her and I was so worried.”
Where was she?
“She had managed to squeeze herself into the smallest place inside one of the walk-in wardrobes. She hid herself behind all the clothes. It took me twenty minutes to find her.”
Harry laughed and even over the phone, it made Bella’s legs turn to jelly.
I wish I had been there to see that.
“I wish you were here too, Harry. I miss you so much.” She sighed, dropping down onto one of the many couches in one of the large sitting rooms.
So do I. But wherever I am, you are always in my heart. I feel you.
“God, you sure know how to melt a girl’s heart…”
It’s a redeeming quality of mine, beautiful. And while we’re on the subject of missing each other, we need to organise our next meeting.
“There’s nothing more that I want, Harry.” Bella said with a smile. Just hearing his voice was good enough but she wanted to see him standing before her. She wanted to kiss him, hug him, hold him in her arms and feel his curls fall through her fingers effortlessly like water.
“You got any ideas?” She asked.
Yeah, I’ve got one. I’m thinking we should definitely spend Christmas together, since it’ll be our first one. Do you like the snow?
“Are you kidding? I love the snow!”
It might snow here in London during Christmas so why don’t you come over? My family’s having a Christmas lunch.
“Oh, that would be amazing! I’ve never spent Christmas in the Winter since it’s always hot in Australia this time of year. Will, uh, your father be there?” Bella asked hesitantly. He was the only person of Harry’s immediate family she had not met yet. She didn’t want to make the conversation uncomfortable but she couldn’t help but ask.
Yes, he’ll be there. Harry said softly.
“What does he think about all this? You and I getting married…?”
He was like my mum at first. Shocked, surprised, you know. But he’s happy for both of us. He looks forward to meeting you.
“Really?”
Well, you’re going to be my wife so of course he can’t wait to meet his soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Harry chuckled, making Bella blush and he didn’t know it.
“True. Tell him I look forward to meeting him too.”
Does that mean you’ll come? She could hear the excitement in his voice.
“Of course I’ll come. I’ll just need to organise who’s going to cover my shifts at work and I’ll need some time to buy presents for everyone.”
Fantastic, Bella! It’s the 10th already where you are so why don’t you fly out tomorrow and you’ll arrive here just before the 12th or on the 12th. I’m paying again so no buts.
Bella was about to say no but realised there was no point in arguing with him. It never worked in her favour. She agreed and said she’d do all the Christmas shopping today. They organised she would get her boarding pass the next day before she flew off to London. She would stay until the 2nd of January because they thought it was a great idea to spend both Christmas and New Year’s Eve together. Bella couldn’t say no to that.
“I can’t wait to spend those two occasions with you, Harry. It’s going to be so much fun.”

Bella dumped her phone on the bed and decided if she was going Christmas shopping now, she’d check if she needed anything else like household essentials. She walked into the bathroom (which was huge) and opened the mirror cabinet, searching through all the bottles of shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash etc. Something else caught her eye. She reached up her arm and grabbed the box off the shelf.
She opened it and gasped at the contents. No, there’s too many. Bella started to count off the days with her fingers, looking back at the tampons in the box. No way. How did I not notice? I’ve never been more than a day late in my life. It suddenly occurred to Bella that she was four days late.
The box fell from her hand, crashing to the floor, tampons scattering across the white tiles. Her breathing became uneven. Bella wrapped her arms around her stomach and looked down. Could I be…? The last time she and Harry had sex was the night they got engaged. Bella realised just then that Harry didn’t have a condom on. I knew it would happen! Heat of the moment, no protection! She fell to the floor, landing on her knees, running her hands through her hair as she choked out hurried breaths. Hang on, it could be nothing. The four boys blew kisses and waved as they walked off the stage, thanking all their fans before disappearing. Bella turned around and saw all of them walking in her direction. She wasn’t ashamed to let the tears fall.
She hugged Harry first, all the while thinking how the hell he looked so handsome in his red floral suit. First, the AMAs. Now this? How does he look so good in such eccentric suits? His embrace had never been so tight. Bella whispered “I love you” in his ear and kissed his cheek. As Harry held her, she heard Louis clear his throat.
“What about us, Bells?” He asked, feigning being hurt with big puppy dog eyes. She looked at the three boys over Harry’s shoulder and slowly released her arms from around him. She smiled and stepped up to them.
“Come here, my boys.” She gestured to them with her hands. Liam, Louis and Niall all wrapped their arms around her, pulling her into a huge bear hug. She felt a weight behind her and knew immediately it was her fiancé. Tears came up again and rolled down her cheeks. They were all her boys. With Harry being her future husband, she counted Liam, Louis and Niall as her older brothers. She loved them all dearly. Bella couldn’t believe they wouldn’t be performing for at least eighteen months. This was it for now.
“I’m so proud of all of you.” She said tearfully when they let her go. She wiped away her tears and looked around the four beautiful men that surrounded her. I feel so lucky to be here.
“I know I haven’t been a fan for that long but I want you to know that I love all of you very much. You guys have achieved so much in the last five years. And you deserve all of it. All your fans, all your records, all your albums, everything. I feel so lucky to have met you and I count you all as people I will love for the rest of my life.”
It wasn’t a speech she had planned. It just flowed naturally. The four young men stared at her with gentle gazes and smiles came upon their faces.
“We love you too, Bells. Always.” Liam said.
“You’re going to be our little sister.” Niall laughed.
“Three immature big brothers, fantastic.” Bella rolled her eyes sarcastically, making Harry laugh.
“One big happy family.” Louis opened his arms and another five-way hug emerged. In their arms, Bella couldn’t be any happier. She had gained a second family in One Direction. She had never been a huge fan of them but after meeting them and getting to know them as people, she discovered they were the kindest and sweetest four men she had ever known. They weren’t fake at all. Who they were was who they were. No egos, just them, and they were all wonderful human beings, both inside and out.
But there was something she needed to tell Harry. She had to tell him now. Bella remembered what Louis had told her over the phone when she was holidaying with Harry at Kangaroo Valley.
He should be the first one to know.
She needed to honour that.
“Harry, could I…talk to you for a moment? Alone?”
“Of course.” Harry said with a smile. Will he still be smiling after I tell him? Bella asked herself as she walked to a deserted corner backstage with Harry by her side. They stopped beside a large black curtain and Bella turned to face him. She was so nervous to tell him. She was afraid of what his reaction would be. Louis’ words came back to her again.
There’s no way he’d break up with you. He loves you far too much to hurt you like that.
“What’s wrong, Bella?” Harry asked. Her heart beated at a million miles an hour. She thought it would burst out of her chest. Wrong? I don’t know if it’s wrong or right… Bella looked up into his eyes and breathe deeply, trying to find her voice.

“Tell me what?”

After the hype about Styles’ new tattoo, matching with fiancée Bella Frost’s one, he also received another one when the boys and James played Tattoo Roulette. Styles showed off his ‘Late Late’ tattoo inked on his arm, marking over 60 tattoos.
During the interview, Corden asked Styles about his fiancée and when they would be seen together again. “I don’t know yet. We haven’t discussed anything. She might come over for Christmas and spend some time with me and my family.”
So it seems that Harry Styles couldn’t be any happier. We will keep our eyes peeled for future Mrs. Styles visiting London during the Christmas holidays. And it looks like they have something to do during the One Direction hiatus: organise a wedding!

“Can you believe we’ve been engaged for over a month already?” Bella smiled down the phone line.
I know. I’ve been asked about it on literally every talk show we’ve been on. Harry laughed.
“I’ve seen the interviews on YouTube. You handled the questions so calmly.”
I told the truth. No point in making up a story.
“You actually made me tear up with some of the things you said.”
Oh, beautiful, don’t cry.
“They were happy tears. Always happy tears.” Bella smiled. She raised her left hand in front of her and stretched out her fingers, sending sparkles dancing across the diamond ring. It looked so expensive but she never asked Harry how much it cost. It wasn’t necessary. The only thing that mattered was the love Harry had poured into choosing the ring and proposing to her with it. Bella loved it from the first moment. He knows me very well.
“So, what’s planned for you guys?” She asked.
The BBC Music Awards are tomorrow night so we’re going to that. Then we’ve got The X Factor Grand Final on the 13th, performing on that as well. It’ll be our last performance together so it’ll be special.
“Wow, you have come so far. It seems fitting that your last performance is where you all did your first one.” Bella said.
I still find it amazing where we are now and what we’ve done. It’s crazy. By the way, where are you now?
“In our five-storey house.” Bella said bluntly.
All alone?
“Yes, well…no. My grandma, my mum and Ashley stayed over last night. But I’m by myself now. Ashley’s coming around after school though. She loves to play hide-and-seek. I almost freaked out the last time we played it. I couldn’t find her and I was so worried.”
Where was she?
“She had managed to squeeze herself into the smallest place inside one of the walk-in wardrobes. She hid herself behind all the clothes. It took me twenty minutes to find her.”
Harry laughed and even over the phone, it made Bella’s legs turn to jelly.
I wish I had been there to see that.
“I wish you were here too, Harry. I miss you so much.” She sighed, dropping down onto one of the many couches in one of the large sitting rooms.
So do I. But wherever I am, you are always in my heart. I feel you.
“God, you sure know how to melt a girl’s heart…”
It’s a redeeming quality of mine, beautiful. And while we’re on the subject of missing each other, we need to organise our next meeting.
“There’s nothing more that I want, Harry.” Bella said with a smile. Just hearing his voice was good enough but she wanted to see him standing before her. She wanted to kiss him, hug him, hold him in her arms and feel his curls fall through her fingers effortlessly like water.
“You got any ideas?” She asked.
Yeah, I’ve got one. I’m thinking we should definitely spend Christmas together, since it’ll be our first one. Do you like the snow?
“Are you kidding? I love the snow!”
It might snow here in London during Christmas so why don’t you come over? My family’s having a Christmas lunch.
“Oh, that would be amazing! I’ve never spent Christmas in the Winter since it’s always hot in Australia this time of year. Will, uh, your father be there?” Bella asked hesitantly. He was the only person of Harry’s immediate family she had not met yet. She didn’t want to make the conversation uncomfortable but she couldn’t help but ask.
Yes, he’ll be there. Harry said softly.
“What does he think about all this? You and I getting married…?”
He was like my mum at first. Shocked, surprised, you know. But he’s happy for both of us. He looks forward to meeting you.
“Really?”
Well, you’re going to be my wife so of course he can’t wait to meet his soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Harry chuckled, making Bella blush and he didn’t know it.
“True. Tell him I look forward to meeting him too.”
Does that mean you’ll come? She could hear the excitement in his voice.
“Of course I’ll come. I’ll just need to organise who’s going to cover my shifts at work and I’ll need some time to buy presents for everyone.”
Fantastic, Bella! It’s the 10th already where you are so why don’t you fly out tomorrow and you’ll arrive here just before the 12th or on the 12th. I’m paying again so no buts.
Bella was about to say no but realised there was no point in arguing with him. It never worked in her favour. She agreed and said she’d do all the Christmas shopping today. They organised she would get her boarding pass the next day before she flew off to London. She would stay until the 2nd of January because they thought it was a great idea to spend both Christmas and New Year’s Eve together. Bella couldn’t say no to that.
“I can’t wait to spend those two occasions with you, Harry. It’s going to be so much fun.”
I know, beautiful. I can’t wait either.
“I’d better go shopping then. Have fun at the BBC Music Awards and say hi to the boys for me.” Bella said, getting up off the couch and walking to the master bedroom she and Harry shared when he was here with her.
I will. I’ll see you soon, Bella. I love you.
“I love you too, baby.”
Bella dumped her phone on the bed and decided if she was going Christmas shopping now, she’d check if she needed anything else like household essentials. She walked into the bathroom (which was huge) and opened the mirror cabinet, searching through all the bottles of shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash etc. Something else caught her eye. She reached up her arm and grabbed the box off the shelf.
She opened it and gasped at the contents. No, there’s too many. Bella started to count off the days with her fingers, looking back at the tampons in the box. No way. How did I not notice? I’ve never been more than a day late in my life. It suddenly occurred to Bella that she was four days late.
The box fell from her hand, crashing to the floor, tampons scattering across the white tiles. Her breathing became uneven. Bella wrapped her arms around her stomach and looked down. Could I be…? The last time she and Harry had sex was the night they got engaged. Bella realised just then that Harry didn’t have a condom on. I knew it would happen! Heat of the moment, no protection! She fell to the floor, landing on her knees, running her hands through her hair as she choked out hurried breaths. Hang on, it could be nothing. But…I need to be sure… She knew what she needed to get when she went shopping.
A pregnancy test.

The screams were deafening. The applause was loud. She watched on the monitors backstage as the One Direction boys shared their final group hug after their performance of History. It brought tears to her eyes as they patted each other’s backs and smiled. After five years of ever-growing success and popularity, they were done. For now.
Bella waited for them to return backstage after Simon Cowell gave them all his love with a heartfelt speech as well other ones from other celebrity fans on the large screen on the stage. The four boys blew kisses and waved as they walked off the stage, thanking all their fans before disappearing. Bella turned around and saw all of them walking in her direction. She wasn’t ashamed to let the tears fall.
She hugged Harry first, all the while thinking how the hell he looked so handsome in his red floral suit. First, the AMAs. Now this? How does he look so good in such eccentric suits? His embrace had never been so tight. Bella whispered “I love you” in his ear and kissed his cheek. As Harry held her, she heard Louis clear his throat.
“What about us, Bells?” He asked, feigning being hurt with big puppy dog eyes. She looked at the three boys over Harry’s shoulder and slowly released her arms from around him. She smiled and stepped up to them.
“Come here, my boys.” She gestured to them with her hands. Liam, Louis and Niall all wrapped their arms around her, pulling her into a huge bear hug. She felt a weight behind her and knew immediately it was her fiancé. Tears came up again and rolled down her cheeks. They were all her boys. With Harry being her future husband, she counted Liam, Louis and Niall as her older brothers. She loved them all dearly. Bella couldn’t believe they wouldn’t be performing for at least eighteen months. This was it for now.
“I’m so proud of all of you.” She said tearfully when they let her go. She wiped away her tears and looked around the four beautiful men that surrounded her. I feel so lucky to be here.
“I know I haven’t been a fan for that long but I want you to know that I love all of you very much. You guys have achieved so much in the last five years. And you deserve all of it. All your fans, all your records, all your albums, everything. I feel so lucky to have met you and I count you all as people I will love for the rest of my life.”
It wasn’t a speech she had planned. It just flowed naturally. The four young men stared at her with gentle gazes and smiles came upon their faces.
“We love you too, Bells. Always.” Liam said.
“You’re going to be our little sister.” Niall laughed.
“Three immature big brothers, fantastic.” Bella rolled her eyes sarcastically, making Harry laugh.
“One big happy family.” Louis opened his arms and another five-way hug emerged. In their arms, Bella couldn’t be any happier. She had gained a second family in One Direction. She had never been a huge fan of them but after meeting them and getting to know them as people, she discovered they were the kindest and sweetest four men she had ever known. They weren’t fake at all. Who they were was who they were. No egos, just them, and they were all wonderful human beings, both inside and out.
But there was something she needed to tell Harry. She had to tell him now. Bella remembered what Louis had told her over the phone when she was holidaying with Harry at Kangaroo Valley.
He should be the first one to know.
She needed to honour that.
“Harry, could I…talk to you for a moment? Alone?”
“Of course.” Harry said with a smile. Will he still be smiling after I tell him? Bella asked herself as she walked to a deserted corner backstage with Harry by her side. They stopped beside a large black curtain and Bella turned to face him. She was so nervous to tell him. She was afraid of what his reaction would be. Louis’ words came back to her again.
There’s no way he’d break up with you. He loves you far too much to hurt you like that.
“What’s wrong, Bella?” Harry asked. Her heart beated at a million miles an hour. She thought it would burst out of her chest. Wrong? I don’t know if it’s wrong or right… Bella looked up into his eyes and breathe deeply, trying to find her voice.
“I…don’t know…how to tell you.”
“Tell me what?”
Just tell him. It’ll be worse if you don’t. It’ll kill you. The voice inside her head told her. She raised her hands up, palms facing Harry, and gave him soft eyes.
“Just…please don’t freak out.” Bella begged. Harry’s expression was one in between confusion and wonder. But will he turn angry? It tore her up inside not telling him. She needed to do it now otherwise she never would.
“I’m…pregnant.”
