Styles -On Hold-

I said goodbye to my mom and sister, as they walked out of my house, with suitcases. I was going to miss them but this was for the better, I just couldn’t use them when I was going against Bradley, this was for the best. The minute they had disappeared from the street, I grabbed my own keys and made my way to the club, I had some deals that were waiting for me and I needed to speak to one of the cops, that were working for me.

“Louis!” I yelled over the music when I entered the club. Louis stopped dancing with this girl immediately and moved towards me. “Harry, didn’t expect you today.”

“I have some appointments; will you make sure they end up in my office.” I was not asking this because I knew he would. I walked into my office and took a seat behind my desk, one of the bartenders came walking in with a whiskey and put it in front of me, he didn’t linger and walked out straight away. I logged into the system to see if there was anything unusual and that’s when I spotted one of Bradley’s men outside in the alley. I grabbed my phone and called Zayn. “Zayn, I think there is someone outside who needs a warning, he is in the alley.” I hung up and watched the screen, when Louis entered the room with a guy.

I held up one finger and looked at the screen, when I saw a flash go off and the guy fell to the ground. I smiled because that was what I liked about Zayn, he never missed. “Welcome Michael, what can I do for you?” I know Michael worked for Bradley but he insisted on talking to me. Louis stayed near the door, with his hand on his gun, just in case Michael decided to pull something really stupid.

“I want to work for you.”
“Who doesn’t? Why do you want to leave Bradley’s gang?” I asked him but he was sweating so it must be serious.

“He is losing his fucking mind, last night he killed a girl just because she said no to him and I didn’t sign up for shit like that.”

“I understand but you must understand that we can’t let you in, just like that.”

“I know and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to prove my loyalty to you, just name it.” I narrowed my eyes at him because I had never seen someone so despaired and I really could use a spy in Bradley’s camp, this would be an excellent idea. “I could use someone who could spy for me and as long as Bradley doesn’t know you switched sides you’re safe, right?”

“I guess so.”

“Good, then you will spy for me on Bradley and I want a full report once a week. If we find out that you are double crossing us, you will die, understood?” I threatened him but he was already nodding his head like crazy.

“I understand, thank you Harry.” I nodded and dismissed him, this made me guess my next guest was also one of Bradley’s men. Ashton was his name and I asked him to do the same thing as Michael, making sure he understood what would happen if he double crossed me and with that he left my office. I had finished my drink by now but I still had to talk to two guys who were working with the police but I was really done for today. “Liam can you come here for a second?” I asked through an intercom and within minutes Liam entered the room. “What’s up?”

“I’m done for today, I need you to speak to the two police men, who will be here within an hour. We need to know if they covered the deaths of the guys we killed yesterday.” He nodded and slapped me on the back. “Sure, you go home, what is on the planning for tomorrow?” I smiled because that was going to be fun, as I was going to spend the day with Anna.

“Showing Anna around but I need you guys for some back-up because I can’t deal with Bradley tomorrow. Not while Anna is with me.”

“Who do you want with you?”

“You and Niall, I mean I love Zayn and Louis but they’re not the nicest guys in town and I don’t want to scare her off.” This made Liam smile because he saw a side of me, I didn’t show much. I actually wanted to impress Anna and I really hoped that I could stay friendly to her, I really didn’t want to show her my ugly side.

“What time should we be there?” I told him the time I was picking her up and told him to stay out of sight until I needed them. Liam nodded and patted me on the back before leaving me alone. I wasn’t going to dwell and went home immediately, as it was already past 1 am. I didn’t waste time when I got home and as I walked into my room, I walked over to the window and saw that the lights were off in her room, which was a good sign because she really shouldn’t stay up too long. I let myself fall on my bed and thought about her smart mouth and the fast that I wanted to kiss her badly but I knew I hadn’t made a good first impression, so a kiss would be out of the question for a long time but I would win her over eventually.

The next morning I was already awake and it wasn’t even 7am yet. I decided to call Anna, not really expecting her to pick up but something annoyed me when I called her again and she didn’t pick up because through her open window I could here her phone going off, which meant there was no way she could’ve slept through it. That when I decided to text her but she ignored them as well. This annoyed the hell out of me and as I threw off the blankets, I wondered into the bathroom to take a quick shower. I had black skinny jeans on and a white shirt after the shower and some comfy shoes and by the time I was done, it was around 9am and she still didn’t text me back. She had to learn to respond to me when I texted her or called her or there would be coincidences. I waited till it was 5 minutes before 10am and as I made my way towards her door, I felt myself tremble of impatience, I really wanted to see her.

I pressed on her doorbell and wasn’t surprised when I heard her mother yell at her to open the door. That woman wanted her daughter with me, the moment she laid eyes on me, this without even knowing me or what I was capable of. I know she was standing behind the door, probably pulling herself together and the minute she opened the door I couldn’t help but put a scowl on my face and I loved how her cheeks flushed when she stared back at me. Her grey eyes met my green ones and I knew she loved my eyes because she kept staring at them, that’s when her gaze went down, she was checking me out but to be honest I was doing the exact same thing. She was wearing black skinny jeans and a sleeveless blouse, which was see-through. She was wearing a shirt under it though but I couldn’t help by the choice of jeans she was wearing because they looked the same as mine.

Her hair was down and it was actually wavy at the end, which looked beautiful, she really had to wear it like this more often. I narrowed my eyes at her, as I remembered my annoyance with her. “Is there something wrong with your phone?" I asked her but she just smiled sweetly at me and that made me want to kiss her badly and when she acted obtuse with her oh-i-didn’t-know-that-was-you answer with her puppy dog eyes , this was something that annoyed me even more and she knew this, you could tell that she knew exactly what it did to me.

“Yes and you know it was me so don't act all innocence, now give me your phone" she almost laughed at me, you could see her mouth tip up for a mere second but I know she wasn’t going down without any struggling. “Why would I do that?” she asked pushing me even further, normally if one of my members did this, I would’ve beaten them already.
“Just give me your phone Anna.” I said through clenched teeth but what she did instead made me stagger back for a second purely out of shock as she walked passed me and started to close the door. This made me snap and reach out to grab her arm and I know I grabbed her to rough but I didn’t care in this moment. I know it shocked her as she told me to let go of her but I just smirked at her and held out my hand for her to drop her iphone, which she still didn’t, I know there were a million things going around her head. My patience was gone as I reached into her pocket and grabbed her phone.

"what is the code love?" but she still wasnlt saying anything, she was probably deciding to hit me or not to hit me and I really was hoping she wouldn;t hit me because I would hit her back if she did that. It was an iphone 6 though and that worked with a fingerprint, so I grabbed her hand and pressed her thumb against the home button, which unlocked it immediately. I gave her back her phone when I had enlisted my contacts and I let go of her the minute I handed her, her phone. I saw her rubbing her wrist, which was already bruising but she did this to herself, it would’ve gone easier if she had cooperated.

I walked back towards the front yard when she started to walk back tot he stairs but if she actually walked away from me, she would regret it. "I wouldn't if I were you." I warned her, this stopped her, when she turned around her eyes were narrowed at me, which I didn’t like but it also amused me and I couldn’t help but smirk at her. She walked to where I was standing and did was a good thing, it meant she wasn’t stupid.

"Don't give me that look love, just come with me, I promised your mom that I would show you the neighborhood, don't want to upset her do we?"
