Now days

*Forward 3 months later*
“Are you excited for tonight?” Harry asked me while I do my hair for tonight.
“Very. Just a little nervous.”
“Don’t be. Do you think it’s too soon to tell them?”
“I don’t know. I just hope everything will be okay.”
“And it will. I know it.” He kissed my cheek and left the bedroom.
“Ow and Liam is bringing his new girl over.” He yelled.
“New girl?” I said to myself.
“Mummy, you look nice.” Noa jumped in the bedroom.
“So do you. What a nice dress you have on.”
“I love this dress.” She turned around.
“Shall I do your hair?”
“Yes, please.” She sits before me and I started on her hair.
“Are you looking forward to tonight?”
“Granny cooking is nice.”
“Uncle Liam is also there.”
“I like him. I miss Sarah though.”
“You do? You know, sometimes people go and stay. But mummy and daddy will never go away. And Uncle Liam but Sarah and Liam together didn’t work. You will learn one day.” I braid her hair when Harry called us.
“Girls, we have to go.” He shouted from downstairs
“Coming.” Noa shouted back. I smiled and finished her hair.
“Let’s go. I love you sweety.”
“I love you to mum.” We hugged and I grabbed my purse and followed her.

At my parents’ house I was in the kitchen helping my mum. Noa was drawing at the dinner table while Harry talked to my dad.
“So how are you?” She asked me.
“You asked me the same thing the minute I came in, mum.”
“I want to know if you alright.”
“And I am.” I smiled at her.
“There is something going on.”
“We are having a nice family dinner. Are you excited about Liam’s new girl?” I quickly changed the subject.
“Yes, maybe it’s a little too soon to date. He was with Sarah for some long time. I though it really was she one for him.”
“Maybe the new girl is.”
“Liam is here!” Dad called. Mum and I left the kitchen. Liam walked in and behind was his new girlfriend.
“Hi Cheryl.” Harry hugged her. He walked back to my side.
“Mum, dad. I want you to meet Cheryl.” Liam smiled putting his arm around her.
“Nice to meet you.” Mum smiled. I put my hand out to her.
“Nice to meet you. I’m Kim, Liam’s sister.”
“Hello, Liam told me so much about you. Even Harry.” She said.
“Harry, did you know?” I looked at Harry who was playing innocent.
“Who is this little girl?” She bend down to Noa’s eye level.
“I’m Noa.” She smiled at Cheryl.
“Nice to meet you, Noa. I’m Cheryl.” Cheryl holds out a hand.
“Hello.” Noa shakes her hand.
“Liam, can’t we talk?” I asked my brother.
“Sure.” I walked into the backyard with Liam walking behind me.
We sat down on the bench.
“So the new girl is Cheryl.”
“Yes, sorry I didn’t let know I brought her.”
“Harry told me before we went.”
“So what you think?”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
“She seems nice. But…”
“But what?
“I didn’t think you bring an older girl.”
“What do you mean?”
“Does she wants children? How does she feels about the age difference?”
“Kim, I though you should be happy. Now you’re giving me a hard time.” Liam stands up.
“I just want to know be sure you serious with her.”
“I didn’t say anything about your age difference with Harry!” Liam got angry and went back inside leaving me speechless.
I let a tear fall down my cheek when I looked at the lake.
“He is right. He didn’t got mad at me. I’m not mad at him now. I’m just looking out for him.”
“Kimmie.” I turned and saw Harry walking towards me.
“Are you alright?” He sat next to me.
“It’s the hormones I think. I don’t want to tell them tonight.”
“Why? Because Liam took Cheryl?”
“And how long do you know about them?”
“I didn’t know them being together. But I do know Cheryl.”
“And what do you think about the age difference?”
“We have age difference.” Harry smiled.
“Yeah, Liam reminded me. He did got mad.”
“That’s why I came here. Liam left.”
“He left? Ow what did I do?” I let me head fall in my hands.
“Can I try to call Liam? Or send him a text.” Harry hand me his phone.
“He doesn’t answer me. I send him a text.”
“Let’s go back inside, I do want to tell your parents our news.” I felt my eyes tear up again.
“Stupid hormones. Let’s go inside and enjoy our dinner. Let’s go home not too late.”
