What A Feeling

Niall blows out a relieved breath, smiling. “Good, because I want to give you everything.”
Becca looks down, overwhelmed by the myriad of emotions engulfing her.
Trying to lighten the moment, Niall says. “Next time you want to be romantic with me, I expect flowers.”
She laughs. “How about a bouquet of football tickets instead?”
He closes his eyes slowly, putting his hand over his heart. “That is the hottest thing a girl’s ever said to me.”
Becca laughs, feeling herself falling deeper and deeper for this adorable man.
Niall places his hands on her hips, drawing her closer.
She leans into him, feeling the hardness of his body. He feels so good to her. She breathes in his intoxicating scent.
Niall kisses her, and she trembles with anticipation of what this night will bring. His breath is hot on her neck as he places perfect kisses there. A little part of her heart still warning her; she firmly ignores it.
He whispers in her ear. “I could hold you forever.”
They kiss on the balcony for a long time, before the doorbell rings, startling them.
“Who the hell could that be?” Niall says.
“I don’t know, no one knows we’re here.”
“I’ll go see.” Niall kisses her on the forehead before heading off.
“I’m going with you.” She runs, grabbing his hand.

Niall opens the door to find a young Irish couple, with the biggest smiles on their faces.
“Welcome to the neighborhood.” They say. “We hope it’s not too late to visit, we live just up over the hill. We’ve brought some gur cake and soda bread.”
“Oh, um, come in.” Niall says. “I’m Niall and this is Becca.”
They all shake hands.
“Ah, you're Irish. I’m Jack Murphy and this is my wife, Molly.”
“Nice to meet you, have a seat.”
“I’ll make some coffee to go with the desserts.” Becca says.

Returning with coffee, and the desserts, she sits in the chair across from Niall. The look he gives her, sends heat straight through her body.
They share polite conversation with the Murphys. The couple is very sweet, but both Niall and Becca only have one thing on their minds.
When Jack finds out that Becca will be covering the golf tournament, he lets her know that he manages the club. “I’ll be sure to take good care of you both. If you need anything just find me.”
“Thanks, Jack. That’s very kind of you.” Becca looks over at Niall, he bites his lip.
Good Lord, I can’t wait much longer.
The Murphy’s stay for another half an hour. Becca tries to follow the conversation, however Niall continues to distract her. Every time he smiles, she feels her heart swell. He purposely winks at her, knowing damn well what it does to her. In turn, she crosses her legs, causing her dress to shift just enough to give Niall a view that the Murphys aren’t privy to. She smirks as Niall swallows hard.
“Well, this has been such a nice visit, but I’m afraid Becca and I are quite tired.” Niall insists.
“Of course you are, travel can be exhausting. I’ll see you both in a couple of days at the tournament.” Jack says.
At the door, Becca tells the couple. “Thank you for the desserts and the kind welcome.
Goodnight.”
Niall and Becca stand at the open door, watching the couple walk to their car.
Upon shutting the door, Niall gently pushes Becca up against it. He kisses her as his hands trace lightly up her body. “Can we continue where we left off?”
Becca smirks as he kisses her neck. “You sure you wouldn’t rather have some more Irish desserts?”
He meets her eyes, biting his lip. “I think I’m more in the mood for American right now.”
