Life After Role Play

Two years later, and here we are. Gracie and Henry are two and Sophie is almost 5!
Harry is on another tour, this time promoting their fifth album, Made in the AM.
“Caroline, can you come help me with getting the twins dressed? I’m giving Sophie a bath right now” I yelled from Sophie’s room.
After I had the twins, Harry and I decided to ask Caroline to be our nanny, which she gladly accepted.
Caroline was amazing with the kids. She mainly helped out with Sophie, considering the twins were still pretty little.
“Yep, coming!” I heard her yell back.
Tomorrow morning, me, Soph, Caroline, Henry, and Gracie were all going to be flying to Washington D.C. to meet Harry. We would be staying with him and traveling with him for a few nights, so that we were able to see a few of his shows, and so that we could see my family who lived in North Carolina.
Since Christmas time was near, Harry and I decided it would be fun to surprise my sister in Charlotte along with my parents.
Our flight was at 6:45 tomorrow morning, and i’m still trying to figure out how i’m going to get myself packed, and my three rascals packed.
“Mommy when are we see daddy?” Sophie asked, as I rinsed the soap out of her hair.
“We are going to go tomorrow, remember?” I said with a smile on my face,
Harry and I had been talking about this trip since he started this tour, because the kids missed him and he missed the kids.
“Alright lovie, are you ready to get out?” I asked, hoping this wouldn’t be an issue.
Sophie yawned and her rubbed her big brown eyes before nodding her head.
I grabbed her hot pink butterfly towel, while Sophie stood up. I lifted her out of the bath tub and dried her off completely.
“Mommy will you help me put PJ’s on?” she asked, as she grabbed my hand.
“Of course” I smiled, and took her hand. I helped her slip into her pink polka dot pajama pants, and then tugged her matching pajama top over her head.
We walked back into her bathroom to brush her hair and her teeth, before she crawled over to her bed.
She immediately found her lamby and started to brush it across her cheek. I lifted her covers and tucked her into her bed.
“Night night sweet girl. I love you” I said, giving her a kiss on the top of her head.
“No FaceTime daddy?” she asked,
It had become a regular thing for Harry to FaceTime us at bedtime, but he had texted about an hour ago saying that they had a late show tonight and he couldn’t facetime.
“No sweetheart, not tonight. But we will see him tomorrow, okay?” I smiled,
“Okay, night mommy. Wuv you” she said and wrapped her small arms around my neck.
These were the moments I loved most. The moments where I felt like everything was okay. I just wish Haz was here to have the moments too.
I walked out of her room and slowly shut her door. Fortunately her closet had a separate door that I could go through to pack for her later tonight.
I walked downstairs to see Caroline holding Henry in her arms and chasing Gracie around the house.
Both of them were bathed and in their PJ’s.
“Gracie” I said with a disconcerning smile on my face.
She ran right over to where I was standing and into my legs. I picked up her tiny figure before peppering her kisses causing her to giggle.
“It’s night night time!” I said, signaling Caroline to follow me upstairs.
Caroline took Henry into his room while I took Gracie. I did almost the same routine that I did with Sophie. I kissed her goodnight before shutting the door to her room.
Caroline came out at the same time I did, both of us looking exhausted.
“Have you packed Mrs. Styles?” she asked, as we made our way downstairs.
“Ha no not yet. Will you help me pack the kids? Also you are still okay to be going with us on this trip right? I know its a long time, but Harry and I plan to pay you a lot extra than normal” I said,
“Oh of course, of course! I’m actually really excited that you guys are letting me come” she said with a sweet smile on her face.

“You’re a lifesaver!” I said, causing us both to laugh.
After a couple minutes of chatting, Caroline and I split up to go to my kids closest to pack for them.
I started with Sophie packing everything in her pink rolling suitcase. Next I went into Henry’s closet, packing all of his cute preppy little baby clothes.
Caroline packed Gracie’s and after an hour we were both done.
“Get some rest sweetheart” I said to Caroline.
When we hired her as a nanny, Harry and I decided that since we have plenty of room in the house that she could just live in one of our guest rooms.
“Thank you Mrs. Styles. See you in the morning.” she said with a smile on her face.
“Goodnight!” I yelled over my shoulder, probably a little too loud.
I walked downstairs and into the master bedroom. It felt lonely every time I walked in. I looked down at my Michael Kors watch, seeing it was only 10, so I decided to just go ahead and pack myself up so I wouldn’t be as stressed in the morning.

After packing I took a hot shower, and packed up my makeup.
I walked over to my California King Bed and curled up on my side. I missed Harry so much, and couldn’t wait to see him tomorrow. I fell asleep happy, knowing that tomorrow I would see my love.
