Carly, the girls, and I were shopping still, for about four hours straight now. It was actually fun, I was enjoying myself with her and getting the chance to spend some time outside of the house and away from Harry and Niall.
‘’This is cute.’’ She mumbles as she runs her hand over a dress that had a sweetheart neckline.
‘’Yeah, you look good in that kind of stuff.’’ I tell her.
‘’You’re so adorable. I love you.’’ She laughs to herself as she grabs the hanger the dress was on and held it up to herself.
‘’Why do you love me? Adorable? What?’’ I laugh a little, confused at what her point was.
‘’You’re so kind, and honest. I love you Emmy. Your personality is beautiful.’’ Carly smiles as she throws the dress over her arm, a sign that she’s going to try it on.
‘’Oh.. thanks.’’ I smile, blushing a tad at the sweet compliment.
‘’Harry will be shocked you’ll come home with bags. Usually you have one thing.’’ She winks at me before looking over at the double stroller where the girls are both sleeping. So cute.
‘’I know. He wanted me to get some new stuff so I didn’t want to upset him.’’ I admit.
‘’Hold on.. did you just say, you didn’t want to upset him? He gets made when you don’t buy something?’’ She asks, shock thrown across her face.
‘’Yeah. He’ll get pissed off because he claims I’m too modest about his generosity or whatever, he says I don’t appreciate it. I deny it all the time, and he doesn’t like it. He wants for me to take his money and get me something nice. But I like it better when he buys it for me, it makes it have more value, you know?’’ I shrug a little as we move onto another section of clothing in the store.
“So basically, it’s like you’re in some sort of submissive relationship? He does everything to make you happy, you only appreciate it when he gets it, you do anything for him, you wear anything for him..’’ She stops herself as she smiles big and bold at me, wiggling her eyebrows.
‘’What?’’ I ask, smiling at her. I was actually confused on what she was so happy about.
‘’Can I ask you something?’’ She says with a laugh, that big smile still on her flawless face.
‘’I guess, yeah.’’ I nod to her just as she sighs, smiling still.
“Sexually…. You and Harry have it good, don’t you? I mean.. I’ve heard some stories from Niall, but.. I want the truth girl. How does he treat you in bed?’’ She smirks as she observes a shirt that ruffled at the end.
‘’Um, well, he.. he usually just gives me the pleasure. I do-‘’
‘’Do you suck him off?’’ She smiles.
‘’Oh.. my god. Um.. occasionally.’’ I laugh nervously, covering my mouth at how straight forward she is.
‘’He takes control? I figured. You’re living the dream then.. Fifty Shades of Grey.’’ She says, throwing her hands into the air.
‘’More like Fifty Shades of Styles.’’ I mumble, smirking to myself just thinking of what we’ve done. We’re pretty rough sometimes… Pretty slow and sweet others, passionate, sloppy..
We’re.. perfect.
Lunch was going great. It’s around 2pm and things have been amazing all day long. The girls have both behaved, took a few naps here and there, and haven’t gotten wild at all. Perfect little angels.
‘’I just don’t know if Javon really wants to be in Echo’s life, I mean, he says he does and he’d do anything for us but I don’t know.’’ Carly sighs as she shrugs her shoulders lightly, staring down at her plate.
‘’I think you guys need to sit down and formally talk. Over the phone conversations about things this serious aren’t always the best. You need to invite him over and just sit and talk. I promise it has a better effect.’’ I assure her with a smile.
‘’Thank you Emmy, I trust you darling.’’ She smiles lightly at me.
Before I could smile back,my phone began to ring and I knew it could only be Harry because he hasn’t called all day or texted, which is shocking to me. It seriously worried me for a while, but I guess he’s fine.
‘’Hello?’’ I say with a smile as I stare down at my lap, focusing in on him and his voice.
‘’Hey baby. I miss you.’’ He says.
‘’I miss you too.’’ I blush a little.
‘’How’s my little girl doing?’’ He asks curiously.
‘’She’s fine, didn’t even cry at all today, being a good little angel.’’ I laugh to myself as I hear Harry chuckle some.
‘’That’s a shock. Usually our little angel is the Devil’s twin sister.’’
‘’Harry!’’ I say with a laugh at that comment.
‘’I’m kidding, she just has attitude problems.’’ Harry sighs, but I knew he was smiling still.
‘’Wonder where she gets that.’’ I say, raising my eyebrows to myself, I knew that answer very well.
‘’Anyways,’’ Harry sighs, ‘’Have you bought yourself anything?’’
‘’Yeah, more than you would expect.’’ I smile to myself.
‘’Good. It’s about time you came around and realize I give you the money for a reason.’’ He laughs a little.
‘’I know.’’ I say simply. I understand his point most of the time, but if I don’t see anything I like or I know Harry will like I don’t get it, sorry but I just don’t.
‘’Listen, don’t come home so soon if you don’t want to. You can stay out all night if you want. I just want you to be happy.’’ Harry says with a sad tone.
‘’Is everything okay?’’ I ask, biting the inside of my cheek, nervous.
‘’Yeah, baby, don’t worry. Everything’s fine. I just.. I just want to make sure you enjoy yourself today. I love you okay? Text me when Carly’s bringing you home.’’ Harry tells me.
‘’I drove, Harry. I took the Camaro, I told you this already.’’ I remind him.
‘’Oh, yeah. Okay then don’t text me. Just.. text me when you leave wherever you’re at then.’’ He corrects himself.
‘’Alright, I love you too Harry. Bye..’’
‘’Bye baby.’’
Harry hung up before I could say anything or think of saying anything. He was acting weird. He’s usually nervous when I go places alone without him, especially with Katie, but he would have called several more times than just this once so I think something’s on his mind. I hope it’s nothing too bad.
‘’Everything okay?’’ Carly asks, eyebrows furrowed as she stares across the table at me.
I look up to catch her gaze. I stare into her dark brown eyes, not sure if I should somewhat lie or somewhat tell her the truth. So, naturally, I just reply.
‘’Yeah.’’
