The Son of Hell
Chapter 2 - Justin
"You never told me your name."
I proceed and follow him outside of the church, into the darkness. But once I step down the small steps again, I look around for the boy, but it was as if he vanished.
The walk home was daunting, and almost every sound made me turn around, but once my house comes into view, I contemplate how i'm going to get back inside; without explaining why I was gone for so long.
I see the living room light switch on and I bend down, close to the ground, in the bushes and crawl towards to window. It was Justin and he was sitting on the couch with the remote to the tv in his hands.
I stand up straight and I walk over to the front door. I open it quietly and once I step inside he looks over at me.
"How was the library?"
He asks and I shrug as I sit down next to him.
"F*cking great"
I whisper and then I take the hair band from my wrist and began gathering my hair for a messy bun.
"Watch your mouth."
He jokes.
"I'm going to sleep"
and I begin to stand up and head over, across the room for the steps.
"Don't let the bedbugs bite."
He jokes and I begin to walk up the cold, wooden steps. Once I reach my room, I close the door behind me and turn to look at my warm bed.

Suddenly, my eyes go wide as I stare at my flannel and phone neatly placed on the sheets. I had dropped my phone and my flannel...I walk closer and pick it up slowly. The man had ripped it, but now it almost looks new.
I hang it up on a small, wall-mounted coat rack in the corner of my room and I place my phone in one of the shelves next to my bed.
My legs ached and so did my head, so I change into my pajamas and I get into the warm sheets, turning off the lights above my bed and my eyes close almost instantly.
