“Are you home now, sis?” Liam asked while we were on the phone.
“Where else would I be? Noa is sleeping.”
“I want to come by if that alright.”
“Sure! You can drop by anytime.”
“See you in a minute.” I cleaned some toys that Noa left around and made some tea.
After 15 minutes Liam came in from the back door.
“Liam.” I hugged him. I let him go and handed him his tea.
“How are you?” I asked him while we sit down on the couch.
“I don’t know.” He signed.
“What’s wrong?”
“Having some trouble with Sarah. I really love her and I think about marriage and kids with her but every time I want to talk about it she change the subject.
“You have been 2 year together. Maybe she thinks it’s too soon.”
“I want to have kids, Kim. Like Noa. I want a little girl running around that looks like me and calls me daddy and gives me hugs and kisses.”
“You’re time will come I promise you.” I hear some noise from upstairs.
“I think you’re little niece is awake.” I smiled and saw him smile too.
“Mummy?” I hear from upstairs.
“Yes, love, you can come down.” I hear her walking down the stairs slowly.
She was standing in the door way with her Frozen outfit, holding her little bunny. She rubbing in her eyes because of the bright light.
“Look who is here.” I said and she looks up with a wide smile.
“Uncle Liam.” She runs into his open arms and holds her close.
“I missed you little one.” He said kissing her head.
“I missed you too. Where is daddy?” She asked and Liam looked at me.
“Uncle Liam came by alone tonight. Daddy will visit you soon.” I saw the hurt in Liam’s eyes.
“Why don’t I bring you upstairs and read you a story?” He asked her and she nodded. Liam holds Noa so she can give me a kiss.
“I love you. See you in the morning love.” I waved at them before they left the living room.
