Chapter 81

"Darcy. Enough." I huffed. Darcy had been refusing to go to sleep, fighting Enola as she tried to put her in her bed. I had had enough as did Enola. Darcy had never been so difficult at bed time.
"NO! I WANT DADDY! I WANT DADDY!" Darcy nearly screamed at Enola, swatting at Enola's hands. I groaned and ran a hand through my hair as Darcy collapsed on the floor beside her bed. Enola made a frustrated growling sound at Darcy. Enola tried to pick Darcy up again but Darcy let her entire body go limp.
"Darcy! I have had enough! Get into bed or I am going to swat you on your rear!" Enola shouted at her. Darcy started to cry loudly.
"I DON'T WANT YOU! I WANT MY DADDY!" Darcy slapped at Enola once more. I grunted and picked Darcy up from the floor. Enola glared at me as Darcy laid her head on my shoulder. But as quickly as I picked Darcy up, I sat her down in her bed.
"You don't yell at Mummy. You do not hit Mummy." I glowered at my child. Darcy stared up at me terrified. "I have had enough of your attitude today." I spoke with a deep voice, my arms folded over my chest. "If you do not stop this, you won't be allowed to play outside, you won't watch the pony show and Freddie will not come over tomorrow. You can sit right there on your bed and stare at the wall all day. And Mummy won't let you have dessert." Darcy still just stared at me. "Do you understand me?" I snapped at her.
"Yes Daddy." Darcy's bottom lip quivered. I knelt down in front of her and ran my hand through her dark curls. She started to cry again.
"Darcy, don't you have something to say to Mummy?" I asked her quietly.
Darcy looked up at Enola, "I'm sorry, Mummy." Enola sat beside Darcy and wrapped her arms around her. Darcy leaned into Enola. Enola kissed Darcy's hair then laid her back on the bed.
"I love you, babygirl." Enola whispered before kissing Darcy's cheek. Enola stood and covered Darcy with her butterfly quilt. Enola murmured another, "Love you, my baby."
"Love you Mummy." Darcy replied quietly. "Night Daddy." Darcy grumbled without even looking at me.
"Hey. Look at me babygirl." I requested of my daughter. Darcy stared up at me once again. "I love you. I love you so very much."
"I love you too, Daddy." Darcy replied.
"But you can't be mean to Mummy like that. Mummy takes VERY good care of you so you can only give Mummy hugs and kisses. No hitting." I spoke gently this time. Darcy's bottom lip shook once more. "Give me a kiss." I requested with a smile. Darcy kissed my cheek lightly. "Good night, baby."
"Night night, Daddy." Darcy whispered before rolling over onto her side.

Enola and I crawled into bed slowly, both of us exhausted from the dealing with all of Darcy's shenanigans. I laid my head next to Enola's with a sigh. She quickly snuggled into my side, laying her head on my chest. I wrapped my arm around her waist and kissed her hair.
"Are you alright, baby?" I asked quietly. She nodded and held me tighter. "Come on. Talk to me." I whispered against her hair.
"I don't want you to leave." She murmured, kissing my chest. I looked down at her curiously. "You leave tomorrow. I don't want you to." Enola spoke softly, knowing the words would hurt me.
I sighed heavily, "I know, baby."
"I'm sorry. I just...I can't help it. I've never liked this part. It feels like this impending doom. I feel it in the pit of my stomach every time." Enola stated quietly. "It's just worse now. Because it's not just me that misses you. Darcy misses you too. I never know what to say to make her feel better because I feel just the same as she does." Enola murmured. "I think that's why she's acting up." Enola added sadly.
"I know. I want to bring you two with me. I wish that I could just have both of you with me all the time. But I don't want her to deal with road life." I stated sadly. "I thought about asking management for another bus. One for just the three of us." I smiled at her. I wanted her to know that I hated leaving them at home just as much as they hated me leaving. "I don't think it would work so well with all of us on one bus for months at a time."
Enola looked up at me, "You would do that? Ask for another bus?"
"Yeah. Why wouldn't I? Like when Darcy starts school, why couldn't you guys just spend the summer with me while the band is on the road? Her other holidays too. I think it would be cool. She could go back to school and say that she went to like six or seven different countries. We could take her to all of the museums and monuments during the down time. She'd be like the smartest kid in school." I beamed at Enola. Enola kissed me teasingly. "What? She would. Oooh we could take her like diving or something in Australia, get her ready for all the science stuff in school. Make her keep track of the kilometers we travel for her maths." Enola kissed me deeply. I pulled back a little confused. "What?" I asked again.
"I love when you do the Dad talk thing." She grinned, slipping her leg between mine. I lifted my eyebrow at her. "I love when you are talking about all the stuff you wanna do with Darcy. I love when you sound like Daddy." Enola nearly whispered as she kissed me again. "Kind of gets me hot." She giggled, teasing me a bit. I blushed slightly. "But the thing is..." Enola began as her lips touched my chest lightly. "Darcy's asleep now." Enola swept her lips up my chest to my neck. I smiled as she sat up a little. "As much as she is worrying me..." Enola carefully and quickly straddled my hips. "I'm REALLY going to miss you." She smirked as she smoothed her hands up my torso. I grinned up at her as I sat up and wound my arm around her waist. Enola squealed and giggled as I flipped her onto her back on the bed. Enola buried her hands in my hair and pulled me into a passionate kiss.

I woke to the sound of my daughter's voice. "Daddy. Daaadyyy." Darcy nearly whispered. I opened my eyes in an instant to look at her. "Hi Daddy." She giggled, climbing onto the bed.
"Hi babygirl." I yawned as I wrapped my arm around her tiny frame. "How are you?" I asked kissing her forehead.
"I'm okay, Daddy." She replied. I looked at her curiously. "Daddy." Darcy spoke with a hint of sadness now. "Do you have to go bye bye?"
"Yes. But just for a little while. I'll be home for Christmas. And I'll call every day like last time." I promised her.
"But I don't want you to go. Mummy is going to be sad all the time. I don't like it when Mummy is sad." Darcy whimpered.
"I know, babygirl. I know. I hate it when Mummy is sad too. But I have to go to work. Just like Mummy goes to work." I stated gently. Darcy gazed up at me sadly, resting her head on my chest like Enola always would. "I promise that I will always come home to you and Mummy. Mummy and I talked about you guys coming to see me again while I'm gone."
"Darcy, we'll go see Daddy. I promise." Enola muttered rolling over in bed. Enola's head rested on my shoulder. I smiled and pulled both of my girls closer. I kissed Enola's lips tenderly. "Morning, Bear." Enola whispered with a smirk, putting emphasis on the nickname she'd given me. I shook my head and kissed her forehead. She'd told me before she fell asleep with an exhausted and satisfied tone that I made love like an animal. "Darcy, why are you worried about Daddy leaving?" Enola inquired of our child.
"Because I don't want Daddy to leave. I like it better when Daddy is home." Darcy muttered, holding me a little tighter. "Daddy plays with me and reads to me. I like when Daddy can snuggle me when I wanna snuggle." Darcy stated softly.
Enola stroked her cheek, "I know, babygirl. But we'll visit Daddy and he'll only be gone for a few weeks then he'll be home." Darcy nodded, her sad expression still written all over her face. "Darcy, is Daddy leaving the reason that you've been naughty?" Enola asked. Darcy stayed quiet but shrugged. Enola stroked Darcy's cheek with her thumb, "Honey, Daddy will always come home and Daddy will always love you no matter how far away we are." Enola explained sadly. Darcy just nodded. It didn't change the fact that I wasn't going to be home with them.

"Noli?" I called out. "Noli!" I shouted from the living room. I heard her grunt in the kitchen and mutter something. I kept digging through my bags not finding my camera or laptop. Enola stepped into the living room and folded her arms over her chest.
"Yes, Bear?" She asked quietly.
"Do you know where my camera and laptop are?" I asked, still digging through the bag I thought I put them in. I looked up at her to see that she was smirking a bit. "Enola, where are they?" I was losing patience with her.
She smirked again, "They're on the bed upstairs." Enola walked out of the room giggling. I lifted my eyebrow then raced up to the bedroom. I was relieved when they were sitting out on the bed all packed up neatly. Enola must've done it for me while I was making breakfast for Darcy. I shrugged and scooped them up. I had to hurry the car would be at the house any minute.

I picked Darcy up and smiled at her. She'd gone through hugging everyone goodbye. She cried a little when she was hugging Niall. I felt bad for her. She had grown so used to having us all around that leaving for tour was becoming harder and harder.
"Hey. You be good for Mummy, okay? I don't want to hear that you were mean to Mummy or didn't listen." I spoke gently to my daughter. She nodded. "I promise I call when it's bedtime. And you can call me whenever you want." Darcy just nodded again. "You take care of Mummy. You guys take care of each other." I instructed her.
"Okay Daddy." Darcy whimpered.
"I love you, babygirl." I smiled and kissed her forehead and cheeks softly.
"I love you, Daddy." Darcy replied quietly as I set her down. She ran off to where Louis and Freddie were saying goodbye. My heart lightened a bit; I liked that she was friends with Louis' son. When they grew up they would have each other to lean on when we were on tour.

I was brought out of my thoughts by Enola wrapping her arms around my neck. I smiled and set my eyes on hers. She just smiled at me and pressed her lips to mine. I happily pulled her closer and kissed her harder. Enola moaned into my mouth quietly, squeezing me tighter. I buried my hand in her hair at the nape of her neck. I locked my lips with hers as passionately as I could with the kids and everyone else so close by. I backed out of the kiss when I felt a teardrop on my face. I frowned looking at Enola. She shook her head and pulled me into another deep kiss. I hated when she cried when I left. Enola laid her hand over my heart as we stayed locked in passionate kiss.
She broke the kiss this time. She rested her head on my chest and a quiet sob burst from her lips. I kissed her hair and held her even closer. Enola wrapped her arms around my back as she tried to calm herself. I could feel her uneven, labored breaths and tears hitting the bare skin of my chest.
"It's okay, Noli. It'll be alright." I murmured in her ear. "It's not like last time. You're staying in our bed, in our house with our baby. It's just us. I'm coming home to you. This isn't the way it was before. I love you. And you're mine." I murmured to her. She just nodded against my chest. I kissed her temple hard. I hated seeing her this way. "Noli, please look at me." I begged after a moment. She stared up at me with red eyes and tear stained cheeks. "This is us now. No hiding. No one is in our way. This is life now. We're the real life now." I beamed at her. "When I get home, I'm crawling into our bed. And loving on you. You don't have to worry about what happens after I get into that car." I stated softly.
Enola smiled warmly at me, "I know. That's what makes it harder this time." I frowned. "I wanna have more time to be real life. That's all. Just Mummy, Daddy and baby." She whispered, still smiling. "I know you're coming home to me. I love that I'm never leaving you to go to someone else." I slammed my lips to hers again and lifted her into the air. She wound her legs around my waist, trying to keep from falling. "I love you, Harry." Enola murmured against my lips.
"I love you, Enola." I replied, smiling into the kiss. She started smiling and kissed me harder.
"Alright, you two. That's enough. My boy doesn't need to see this!" Louis shouted as he handed Freddie and Darcy off to Brynn and Sophia. Enola slowly dropped her legs from my waist and set her feet on the ground. I began to kiss her sweetly over and over. Enola began giggling when all of the boys groaned loudly. I stroked her cheeks with my thumbs as I held her face in my hands, keeping her lips on mine.
"I love you, Noli." I whispered to her again.
"I love you, Bear." She kept giggled when the boys started to make gagging noises. We separated slowly, really not wanting to let each other go. "When you're alone..." Enola began softly as she left my embrace to pick up my bag with my laptop and camera in it. She then placed the strap on my shoulder then leaned in. Her breasts molded to my chest perfectly, the way they did when we made love. "I put a little something on there for you." She whispered in my ear before kissing my jaw teasingly. I pulled back quickly and lifted my eyebrow at her. She smirked a bit and did the same. I slammed my mouth to hers once again.
"Oh my God, I love you." I moaned against her lips.
Enola giggled and pushed me away, "Go." I pulled her tight to me and smirked. Enola ran her hand through my hair. "Don't even think about it. You're already running late, Mister." I laughed as she pushed me off her. "Darcy, come give Daddy another hug and kiss!" Enola shouted to our daughter. I growled at her, using the baby to get me off her was low.
"I'm going to get you for that." I stated lowly as Darcy ran into my arms.
Enola snickered, "Looking forward to it."
