Just Friends

Friday morning I woke up by my pillow buzzing. It took awhile before I realized my phone was ringing. ''Hello?'' I yawned and sat up leaning against the wall ''hey sleepyhead, I was thinking we should go clubbing tonight. Since you know, it would be your first time since you turned eighteen'' Harry sounded stressed but happy. ''Yeah, I'm totally up for it. Are the boys coming?'' I asked now completely awake ''I don't know yet but I'm late for an interview, I'm picking you up around 10pm. See you then, Luce'' and by that he hung up. Good, then I'll have plenty of time today preparing for my first day at Uni on Monday.

It was 9.30pm and after a slow day I was more than excited to go clubbing. I wore a short, fitted black dress which made magic for my curves. I had sprayed my straightened hair with some hairspray and did a last check up on my makeup. I'd succeeded with a nice smokey eye and matched it with a neutral lipstick. My phone buzzed and I looked at a text from Harry saying he was outside. I ran out to the hallway and stepped in my black heels.

Harry opened the door to a night club called Funky Buddha which looked a little too dead for my taste. When we got in it was no light in sight. ''Uhm, Harry are you sure we are at the right place?'' I asked a little freaked out because I literally didn't see anything. Suddenly lights flashed on and people jumped out of hiding places screaming 'surprise'. I looked at Harry in chock as my jaw dropped ''welcome to London, Luce'' he smiled and kissed me on the cheek. 5/5 of One Direction were present along with girls I recognized as Louis and Liams girlfriends, but the place was also full of people I've never seen and who I assumed were Harry's friends. ''Did you plan a welcome party for me?'' I said with tears in my eyes. This was literally the nicest thing no one has ever done for me. ''Well, I had to introduce you to everyone so I don't have to hang out with you all the time'' we both laughed and i pinched him in the side. Overwhelmed by hugs and new faces I suddenly got dragged along to the bar by Danielle and Eleanor, Liam and Louis' girlfriends. I had met them both once but we got along very well and were soon planning on shopping trips in the near future. ''Okay, cheers to Lucy who finally has moved her sweet bum to London'' Danielle raised her glass ''and cheers to no more whining from Harry that his best friend lives too far away'' Eleanor continued. We raised our glasses and I emptied the content and swallowed. ''One more'' Eleanor yelled over the blasting music. About five tequila shots later all three of us were dancing on top of the bar in our high heels.

Harry's P.O.V

''Hey Luce, I think you've had enough, huh?'' I laughed but showed that I was serious by taking the drink she held in her hands. ''My hero'' she slurred annoyed. Frankly I didn't really care, yeah, she might be mad at me now but she'll thank me in the morning. When I saw the amount of alcohol being consumed by this little body I now had my arm wrapped around I decided to stay sober. I led her out to a car waiting for us with some bodyguards just outside the club. Our management had hired more bodyguards since our little incident at the bowling alley earlier this week. I got Lucy in the car and jumped in after her. I got her seat belt on and she leaned her head against my shoulder and let out a sigh. ''Thank you for the best welcome party ever. You're the best'' she slurred tiredly.

Her drunkenness had gone over to tiredness as we walked in to my flat in another part of the city. The little smart ass didn't know where she put her keys and I was too tired to look for them so I brought her to my house instead.
''Harry -'' she said as she sat down on my bed and let me take of her shoes ''- do you believe in love?'' I met her tired eyes ''yes, I do. Don't you? Hands up'' she shook her head and raised her hands above her head allowing me to take off her tight dress which I couldn't let her sleep in. It looked too painful. ''Love is a bunch of crap'' she said as I pulled one of my t-shirts above her head. ''I just think you haven't found the one yet. And why the rush? You're only eighteen'' I said as she yawned and laid down between the covers. I pulled the covers on to her body and walked around the bed. I undressed to my boxers and laid down beside her. The bed made a little noise and I tried to stay quiet because I thought she had fallen asleep. But she turned around and stared intense in to my eyes. ''Cuddle?'' she simply said and I opened my arms for her to crawl closer. ''I've never even been in love, just let stupid boys take advantage of me. What is wrong with me?'' she whispered ''Hey, Lucy -'' i grabbed her face so she would look at me ''there is nothing, do you hear me, nothing wrong with you. You're super smart, beautiful and you have a good heart. One day you will find the one who appreciates that. And heck, he'll be a hell of a lucky guy. He'll change your way of thinking about love'' she smiled at me. ''I really hope so, I'm just tired of being dumped because I don't want to sleep with them'' I looked at her slightly confused. ''Wait, so you mean...you haven't?'' she laughed and hit me over the shoulder ''no, dummie. I want it to be with someone who I know and trust'' she stopped talking for a second and let out a yawn before she continued ''like you, I would totally let you take my virginity''. I knew it was the alcohol talking but some part of me felt kind of happy of her words. ''Have you?'' she asked and looked at me ''huh?'' I said and she repeated herself ''have you..you know?'' my stupid smile was enough for her to get it ''Shut. Up? Caroline Flack? I mean I heard the rumors but I didn't seriously think you were into cougars'' she said bursting into laughs. I shrugged and let out a chuckle. A silence spread the room and I realized she'd fallen asleep.
