Lucy's P.O.V

''God I'm so nervous I think I'm gonna die'' I said to Tess while she was doing my makeup. One Direction was attending a charity event and Harry wanted it to be our first appearance as a couple. I don't think I've been this nervous since I don't even know. ''It will be fine, just smile and don't fall. If you fall it will probably be the worst thing ever'' Tess said ''oh my god, Tess. I hadn't even thought of that, thanks for adding to my 'things that could go wrong-list'. Jesus Christ'' I smiled at her even though it bothered me.

''You look beautiful, love'' Harry kissed my cheek ''oh, we're going in a limo? Just a regular day'' I joked when I saw the limo on the street. We jumped inside the limo where the rest of One Direction where sitting including their girlfriends. ''Oh hi, I'm Lucy. You're Perrie, right?'' I shook my hand with a drop dead gorgeous blonde, also known as Zayn's fiance. ''I am, nice to finally meet you. The lads have not shut up about you'' she smiled at me.. Everyone looked so nice tonight and I was glad I chose a longer dress rather than a shorter one. ''I wish I could have invited Tess tonight, but the management wouldn't let me'' Niall whispered to me looking disappointed. ''But Harry brought me, why wouldn't they let you take Tess?'' I asked confused. ''Because fuck modest'' Harry said loud ''yeah, fuck modest'' Louis yelled from the other end of the limo. I could tell he had already had a few. We all laughed out loud. The boys started to talk about something and I got lost in my own thoughts. ''Are you okay, Lucy?'' El asked from where she sat next to Louis making everyone turn to me. I noticed I had been playing with my shaking hands, Harry noticed too and grabbed both of my hands and squeezed them. ''Yeah, I'm just a little nervous'' I said forcing a smile. ''It will be fine, there's gonna be a lot of camera flashing but just hold on to Harry and you will be fine, darling'' Liam reassured me and everyone agreed. The limo stopped and two at a time everyone walked out, except for poor Niall who went with Liam and Danielle. I really felt sorry for him, like why wasn't he allowed to bring a date? That's just ridiculous. What was wrong with their management?
Harry and I was going to walk out last and the moment Harry stepped out the screams got louder. He reached for my hand and I put on my biggest smile for the cameras. Harry was holding me, looking proud and showed me of to the cameras. We were standing for a while and getting photographed for a while and then finally headed inside.

We all had been placed at our own table and the boys were talking and joking with each other. I was sitting between Harry and El and me and her had our own little conversation going on. ''I literally screamed of happiness when Harry told Alan Carr that you guys were a couple'' she said and smiled ''imagine my reaction then'' I laughed. The event was going to start in half an hour so the boys had a little time to mingle around a bit. I planned to stay put with El but Harry insisted he wanted to introduce me to some people.
We walked up to a blonde I recognized her, I think she was a model. ''Cara, it's so nice to see you again. This is my girlfriend, Lucy'' I could totally get used to him calling me his girlfriend. Cara reached out for my hand and we smiled at each other ''hi, I'm Cara Delevigne, and wow you are gorgeous'' Cara Delevigne? That's right she's the Victoria's Secret model. I blushed ''thank you, you are too'' ''no, I'm serious you're so pretty. Are you a model? Here, I'm gonna have to give you my agents number. You should totally be a model, right Harry?'' she talked so fast I could barely understand what she was saying. ''Totally'' Harry agreed smirking at me. Cara handed me a business card with her agents number on. Cara and Harry started to talk about something and I excused myself. I walked over to some tables and grabbed a glass of champagne. I sipped on it as someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around and almost choked on my drink. It was Ed freaking Sheeran. I mean I know that Harry knows him and all but I had never met anyone of Harry's more well known friends before so excuse me while I fangirl on the inside. ''Hi, you're Lucy right? Harry's girlfriend?'' he asked ''hiiii, yes I am'' I smiled at him trying to keep my feelings inside of me. ''I'm Ed'' he shook my hand ''oh, I know'' I blurted out, immediately regretting it. He chuckled ''it's nice to finally meet you, Harry has been talking about his best friend for years. And know that best friend is apparently his girlfriend'' I laughed ''well, yeah I got promoted from best friend to girlfriend'' I joked and he laughed harder than I intended him to.

The event was finished and I felt a light buzz from all the champagne I had been drinking throughout the night. This wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, it was kind of fun actually. Eleanor and Liam were trying to get drunk Louis a bit sobered up before meeting the press. ''Did you have fun tonight?'' Harry asked wrapping his arms around me ''I did. And one of my favorite artists knew my name so yeah it was pretty dope I would say'' he laughed ''oh you mean Ed? I would have introduced you guys sooner if I knew you liked his music'' I raised my eyebrows ''like? Do you mean love? Because yes I love his music'' I said probably sounding like a total fangirl, I finally understood the One Direction fans. ''Hey I'm getting jealous here, you don't love One Directions music'' Harry said playing hurt, I shrugged ''yeah boy bands aren't really my thing'' I joked ''but we're a cool boy band'' Zayn walked up behind me. He and Harry quickly grabbed me and Niall walked over to rescue me, I thought, instead he started to tickle me. ''Say you love One Direction'' Zayn demanded ''never'' I screamed. Luckily we were alone in this room other wise people would have probably have given me weird looks. ''Haz, I think you have to dump her'' Niall laughed still tickling me as I screamed of laughter. ''Stop, I'm gonna pee myself. Do you have any idea how much champagne I've had?'' I said between my laughter ''only if you say that you love One Direction'' Harry said still holding me ''okay, okay. I love One Direction'' I gave up. The boys released me and bursted out in laughter. ''What's so funny, ey?'' Louis who clearly hadn't sobered up a bit came up behind us while El and Liam was trying to make him walk straight. ''Oh nothing, Lucy just told us she loves One Direction'' Niall laughed ''duh, why wouldn't she?'' Louis said as the sassy one he is.

''So Niall was a bit bummed tonight that he couldn't invite you'' I said to Tess while wiping away my makeup in the bathroom. Harry had just dropped me of at my flat before going home with Niall. ''I didn't know he wanted to invite me'' Tess said with raised eyebrows ''Tess come on, he likes you'' I smiled. She shrugged, slightly embarrassed about the situation. ''Oh my god, I forgot to tell you, I met Ed freaking Sheeran. And he knew who I was'' I said with a sudden energy kick. ''Well now I'm mad I didn't go'' Tess laughed.

I was laying in my bed about to go to sleep when my phone rang. Who calls at 2.30 in the morning? I looked at my phone. Harry. Of course. ''Hi'' I said to his face when I realized he had facetimed me. ''Hi babe, what are you doing?'' he smiled but looked exhausted. ''I'm just about to go to sleep. What are you doing?'' ''just missing you'' Harry yawned ''We saw each other two hours ago, you dork'' I teased ''I know. Sooo what are you wearing?'' he smirked. ''Harry'' I laughed and started to blush ''I'm gonna hang up now'' I stated. He just smiled at me ''I love you'' I said making a kiss face ''I love you too, goodnight babe''.
