Lucy's P.O.V


The whole gang, except Zayn had met up at Liam's place for a movie night. Louis and Eleanor had brought some alcohol and Niall had brought pizza. We were all sitting in the living room on Liam's huge black sofa. ''What should we watch then?'' Liam said while browsing trough Netflix on the TV. ''I want to watch a scary movie'' Louis yelled ''noooo'' Dani and I groaned. ''Oh come on, don't be such girls'' Niall complained to me and Dani. Us girls were soon down voted by the guys but also Eleanor, that traitor, so scary movie it is. I sat down between Harry and Niall and reached for a beer from the table.

A loud scream from Louis made us all jump in our seats. ''What the fuck, Louis?'' Eleanor yelled at him looking frightened ''it was scary don't blame me'' he said putting his hand over his heart. We all bursted out laughing. ''You were the one who wanted to watch a scary movie and now you're here screaming like a girl'' Liam stated making everyone laugh. We were all pretty buzzed already and we'd only watch half of the movie. ''Can we just be done with this movie and play some games?'' Danielle said ''yes, yes yeeees'' I yelled. Harry looked at me with a confused face while smirking, I don't really like games but I guess my drunken self was funner to hang out with rather than my sober self. ''Yeah we could play like truth or dare'' Harry suggested and everyone agreed. Only nobody cared to follow the rules, we just asked or dared.
''Okay I'll start -'' El began ''Harry, what's your biggest fear?'' ''starting up deep aren't ya?'' Niall said making me giggle. I never giggled. What is this alcohol doing to me? ''Uhm, my biggest fear is, hmm, like losing everyone I care about I think'' he said and all the girl let out some 'aw'.

Harry's P.O.V

''Okay my turn, Niall, what is your favorite Disney movie and why?'' I asked and the boys laughed. ''Oh, oh, I know this one! I love Tangled because It's so satisfying watching the girl brushing her long blonde hair'' Niall said dreamy we all bursted out in laughter. ''You are such a cute little leprechaun Niall Horan'' Lucy said and giggled. What is wrong with her today? Being all cheery about playing games and what is the deal with her giggling whenever Niall opens his mouth. Is she in love with him or something? Everyone was laughing at Lucy's drunken comment. ''Okay, Lucy I dare you to ask someone in this room for a piggy back ride one lap around the sofa'' Niall smiled ''Oh, I wanna do it! And I wanna piggy back my little Irish leprechaun'' Lucy yelled. Once again everyone laughed except for me. Niall and Lucy stood up from the sofa and Lucy immediately jumped on Niall's back. She screamed of laughter when Niall started to run around the sofa. Everyone was laughing their heads of and cheered them on when Niall suddenly tripped causing him and Lucy to crash down on the floor. Niall were laying on top of her and she was laughing so hard tears were falling from her face. ''Okay that's enough'' I heard myself say and I stood up from the sofa. I lightly pushed Niall of of Lucy and lifted her up so she was standing. Lucy's face instantly dropped when she saw my face, I guess I looked pretty pissed. And I didn't even know why. I forced myself to soften my face a bit ''This has been fun and all but I think I'm going to take Lucy home now'' I said to the others who had stopped laughing. ''I don't want to go'' Lucy said and crossed her arms. Is she five years old? ''You're drunk. We're leaving'' I stated and she rolled her eyes. Now I really think she is five years old. ''Oh, here's the fun poliiiice trying to arrest me for having fun'' she was clearly wasted. ''Come on, are you five? Just go with me'' I reached out my hand to grab hers and surprisingly she let me. ''Okay, bye guys see you tomorrow'' I said leading my drunk little friend out of the flat.

''Good god, how drunk was I last night?'' Lucy groaned from her side of the bed. I had brought her to my place late last night. I was still kind of pissed at her, for whatever reason I couldn't figure out. ''Well, you suddenly loved drinking games and made Niall give you a piggy back ride'' I forced a smile. ''Was everyone drunk, too? I don't know if I should be embarrassed or not'' I laughed ''everyone was drunk, too'' I smiled.

Lucy's P.O.V

''Niall'' I yelled as soon as I saw him coming around the corner. ''Hi Lucy'' he said smiling big at me. We hugged and started to walk to his favorite food place 'Nandos' which he had promised me he would take me to the first time we'd met. Niall and I had really clicked and I already see him as one of my closest friends. ''I like your snapbacks, Tess wears them too'' I took his snapback of his head and put it on mine. ''Yeah I noticed, she looked pretty good in it too'' he laughed. ''So, I never had the chance to ask Tess about you two - '' I smirked ''is there something going on?'' I blinked at him and his face turned red ''I don't know what you're talking about''. He opened the door in to Nando's and we walked in and sat down by a table. ''Come on, Nialler I know something happened that night we were clubbing'' also known as the night I got drugged and later bashed in the media. ''There's really not much to say, we enjoy each others company. She's really nice'' he said looking down at his menu ''So nothing happened between you two?'' I felt disappointed ''maybe we kissed, but that's really it'' he looked up at me. ''Yes, I knew it -'' I yelled and he hushed me ''okay I thought you were gonna do more but I'm fine with kissing'' I laughed and his face got even more red.

We had just finished eating the magnificent food from Nando's, as Niall would say, when a couple of girls came up to us. They all looked like they were going to cry and one of them started to talk and her voice shaked heavily ''Uh..h-i...Niall...could we..could we get a photo with you?'' aw they were fans, obviously, how could I not have thought that before? ''Of course'' he smiled big and stood up. ''I can take the picture'' I volunteered. Niall gave me a grateful smile. They all posed up for the photo ''Okay guys, say cheese'' ''cheeeeeese'' they all said making me laugh. They all thanked him for the picture. ''Is the other boys here somewhere?'' another girl said. Niall shook his head ''no, they're not, sorry'' ''oh, It's okay. We're so happy we met you'' the first girl said sounding more confident this time. Niall smiled at them ''wait, aren't you Lucy? Harry's Lucy?'' everyone's eyes turned to me. ''Uh, I guess so'' I said suddenly really nervous. There had been some hate towards me on twitter since I've been seen in public a lot with Harry and media speculating on whether or not Harry and I are dating. I've tried to ignore the hate since it only happened on the internet, but it scared me to now be known by the fans in real life. ''We really think you and Harry fit together, you guys are so cute'' all of the girls smiled at me and all my nervousness was blown away. ''That's really nice of you to say, but Harry and I are just friends'' I smiled at them ''oh, but we think you guys should be cute together anyways'' ''yeah, we ship you guys''. I smiled at them, slightly confused and when they left I asked Niall what the hell a 'ship' was and he explained it thoroughly. ''What's up between you and Harry then? I saw you getting all red when they asked about you two'' he smirked at me making me blush even more. I waved my hand in front of my face because of the sudden warmth. ''What do you mean? I blushed because I thought they were nice to me'' he raised his eyebrows in disbelief ''if you say so''. What was going on with me? The questions about Harry had never bothered me like this before. Why the hell was I blushing?


After my lunch with Niall I headed to Harry's place, he said he wanted to talk about something. ''Hey'' I said and gave him a hug when he opened the front door for me. We walked in to the living room and sat down on the sofa. ''So what's up?'' I said leaning back in the sofa. ''What's going on between you and Niall?'' I laughed at his question ''what do you mean?'' what is going on with him, he has been bitter for days. ''Well, first page of Sugarscope is all about Lucy Wellington and Niall Horan on a date. So now the world thinks that you're not cozing it up with one, but 2/5 of One Direction. It's making you look like a slut'' he frowned. I was in chock. When I got myself together I got pissed. ''Uhm, first of all you do not get to call me a slut. And second of all he's my friend, you're my friend. All I am doing is hanging out with friends for god's sake'' I snapped at him. ''I didn't mean that'' he said looking down on the ground. We sat in silence for a couple minutes before he spoke again ''I'm just..I guess I'm worried about you because of all the hate you get on twitter'' he knows about it ''oh, It's okay though. I don't let it get to me'' I forced a smile. ''Are you sure? I wish I could protect you from this. You're the one who least deserves hate in this world'' his face turned soft and he looked sad. I reached my arms out to him and he pulled me in for a hug. I breathed in the scent of jasmin. Did he have a new perfume or has he always smelt this good?


''Harry's P.O.V

When Lucy cuddled up in my arms I felt my heart beating faster. Our night together had been hard to forget, I tried to forget but I kept failing to. I guess that I could see what was going on and I was too scared to admit it yet I couldn't do anything to stop it.

''Earth to Harry Styles, are you even listening to me?'' Louis said and hit my arm. We had been recording in the studio the whole day and I was exhausted. ''Sorry, I'm just tired'' I mumbled and let out a yawn. '''What's going on with you, mate? You seem to drift of in thoughts all the time now a days'' I shrugged at his statement. It was her I was thinking about. It was always her. My pulse seemed to fasten when I heard her name and my heart threatened to explode whenever I hugged her. It was painful even being in the same room as her and I had kept denying my feelings even for myself. ''Are you thinking about Lucy?'' he said a little lower so the other lads wouldn't hear. I'm sure they knew but it was a nice gesture. I sighed and looked down playing with my thumb. ''I've seen how you look at her and how you got jealous when she hung out with Niall. I can see it in your eyes, Haz'' I took a deep breath still not looking at him ''so are you gonna tell her how you feel?'' he said and I looked up at him ''I don't even know how I feel. I'm just so confused'' Louis smirked at me ''Correct me if I'm wrong. Your pulse is getting stronger in her presence, your hands get all sweaty and you're thinking about her all the time?'' I nodded slowly. ''Harry, you're in love. Now go tell her'' he said and patted me on my shoulder. ''I just don't think she feels the same'' I sighed. ''Well there's only one way to know'' he smiled encouraging.
