I Can't Be....
~2 Weeks Later~
I woke up to a pain in my stomach, like something was pushing against it. I went downstairs to be greeted by Tricia. "Good morning."
Tricia smiled and said "Good morning to you too hunny." I went to the bathroom and puked, I felt horrible. As I was in there, I looked in the mirror and noticed my stomach looked a little larger. I went on the scale and weighed myself, I was... 120 lbs? I put on 6 pounds! My gosh, I haven't been eating a lot.
It's been a month and 1 week since I last had my period. Kinda weird huh? I'm kind of nervous now, I missed my period, put on 6 lbs, I feel sick, and I had pains this morning. Maybe I'm pregnant? No! I can't be a mother! I'm only 18!
I ran downstairs and asked Tricia if she could drive me to the drug store, I just told her it was extremely important. I went to the store and grabbed 2 pregnancy tests and bought them. As I got into the car, Tricia looked at me confused and shocked but I motioned for her to go.
As soon as we got home, I ran to the bathroom upstairs and used the pregnancy test. Then there was 2 lines. I read the instructions and 2 lines meant.... positive! Oh my god!
I went downstairs and sat on the couch and started to cry. Tricia came quickly to me and asked "Hunny, what's wrong?" She rubbed circles on my back until I answered.
"The pregnancy test....it came back.... positive." I said between sniffs. I looked to see her face and she was in complete shock. She hugged me so tight and I felt comfortable in her arms.
I waited until 6:00 p.m., thinking about the baby. I wonder if it is a boy or girl? What are some cute names? I opened my laptop and clicked on Skype, to see that only Liam was online. I quickly pressed Video Call and waited for him to pick up.
My cheeks were all red and puffy from crying the whole day so once Liam picked up he asked "Alyssa, what's wrong?" Before I could answer, he called the rest of the boys over. I saw Zayn's face and forced a fake smile.
"I had really bad pains today, felt sick earlier, missed my period, and I have put on some weight." The boys still showed no emotion.
That was a sign that I should continue. "So I took a pregnancy test today, and it came out positive." I murmured.
The lads jaws dropped and Zayn had tears in his eyes. "Alyssa! I am in the UK right now. I'm coming over there, we don't have a concert until 2 days." He announced, packing a suitcase and running out the hotel door.
I hung up the call unexpectedly and told Tricia what happened on Skype. She nodded and we watched a movie while we were waiting for Zayn to come. We watched Titanic and cried together through it. She tried to cheer me up and she did.
This whole time, Zayn's sisters were at a sleepover for a couple days and his dad was working somewhere a little ways away.
By the time the movie finished, Zayn had arrived. I ran to the door and hugged him the tightest I ever had. He hugged me back just as well and then he looked down at me. "You ok yeah?" Zayn questioned.
I nodded and he hugged his mum. She allowed Zayn and I to go upstairs and talk about the baby. As soon as we got to his room, he immediately said "I've missed you so much." I nodded and Zayn hugged me once more before replying.
"Alyssa, can I be your boyfriend again? I will never hurt you again, I'm really sorry." Zayn exclaimed. Why would I decline? We had sex like 3 times before he left for tour again, he will be the father of my child, and I love him.
"Of course Zayn." I responded. Zayn kissed me lightly on my forehead before asking how I got pregnant.
"Don't you remember? You weren't protected when we had sex." I announced. Zayn nodded and began to shuffle his feet.
"So are you going to abort the baby or keep it?" Zayn asked eagerly. I can't believe he would ask that.
"We are going to keep it!" I shouted. Zayn and I were talking about baby names and how we would take care of the baby with him on tour.
"Tomorrow I will take you to the doctor to see if we can tell what the gender is." Zayn said. I smiled at his kindness and soon fell asleep on his shoulder.
