What Happens In Vegas...

"Dani?" I heard a familiar voice as the crowd left the park.
I turned quickly, figuring out who it was, my heart raced.
"Lijah?"
"Wow. I haven't seen you in forever!" He jumped giving me a hug. Awkward...
"And you are?" Luke cleared his throat.
"I could ask you the same." Elijah replied, "Elijah."
"Luke. Her husband."
"Weird I just saw a proposal out of you, didn't see the wedding." Elijah smirked.
"Clearly you don't read then." Luke grinned.
"Boys!" I shouted.
"Yes?" They responded.
"yes, this is Luke, my husband. We got married in Vegas a few months ago, in a completely wrong fashion, so this is us having a redo. And this is Elijah, my ex."
"Wow, so much time together and that's my description."
"Don't worry, mate, I've heard the story." Luke clenched his fist behind my back.
"Well, congrats Dani, some things never change. I'll see you around. Maybe even at the wedding."
"Oh, haha, no exes at the wedding!" I awkwardly laughed leaving him behind.
"I'm sorry, Luke."
"It's fine. I mean you met my ex, except she's kinda the reason we got married." He chuckled a bit.
"Speak of the devil." Rae coughed.
"Jesus." Luke breathed.
"Luke! Danielle! Mikey! Rae!" Vanessa shouted, pretty sure we all gagged.
"Ness, what are you doing here?"
"Getting engaged!" she jumped, almost slapping us with the ring.
"ENGAGED?!" We all gasped, "TO WHO?!"
"Hey guys! What's-- Oh boy." Ry spoke.
I felt vomit coming up and ran for it.

"Dani?" Rae called for me in front of the stall door.
"In here. One sec." I spoke, then slowly got up and stepped out, "Ry is marrying the Lochness monster and we're just going to stand by?"
"It isn't our choice Dani. It wasn't his that we got married either." Rae replied, wiping my face with a cold towel.
"I guess you're right."
"What's new?" She smiled, "Shall we?" I nodded.
"Everything alright, love?" Luke asked.
"As long as I'm with you." I smiled.

Luke and I laid in bed and I calmly rested my head on his chest, tracing his abs as he ran his hand up and down my side.
"What date?" he asked.
"Details already?" I laughed.
"Ideally, when would you like?" He smiled, I know cause I could feel his jaw line on my head.
"No preference. You?"
"Any day is a good day to marry you, but probably Spring or Summer."
"Deal." I smiled.
"Hav I ever told you how much i love you?" he asked.
"Not even once, you might have sang it though."
"Good, you need to know/" he spoke, kissing my head.
There was a knock on the door.
"Room service?" I asked, "That is a brilliant idea, but no." Luke replied.
I got up and answered... Elijah.
"Um, creep status. Can I help you?"
"Can we talk?"
Luke was glaring at the door shaking his head no.
"Is important? I was almost asleep."
"Dani... Please?" He begged.
"Elijah, you had 2 years of my life to tell me anything and everything, now I have other priorities. goodnight." I replied, shutting the door.
I crawled back to Luke's warm embrace, then there was another knock.
"Room service now?" I asked.
"It didn't come that fast, I promise." he replied getting up.
"Ness?" he spoke, my skin crawled.
"Luke... What did I get myself into? I couldn't even marry you wha--"
"Figure it out." he responded shutting the door.
He laid back down, grasping me again, and kissing my forehead again.
Another knock, "Room service!" they called.
"Thank god." We both chuckled.
Luke went to the door, tipped the gentleman, and turned around with champagne and strawberries.
As he sat down he spoke, handing me a glass and taking his own.
"Here's to us, our now, and our always. Together. I'm the luckiest man in the world. Here's to the second best night of my life."
"And the first?" I asked.
"The night I met and married you." He smiled, kissing me softly 3 times.
