Whirlwind

Jessica's POV:

Harry stared at me as a smile started to form on his face. He looked amused by my answer and seemed like he was trying to work out what was going through my head. After what felt like the longest minute of silence, I introduced myself.
"I'm Jessica, nice to meet you Harry." I gave him a small smile and fastened my seatbelt. "My office is just round the corner, I work at MBE Events."

"Ah ok, not far. What do you do there?" Harry pulled out of the space and started driving down the road - leaving the crowd of screaming girls behind us.
"I'm an Executive Events Organiser, which is just a fancy name for party planner really. I organise different fuctions from weddings to coporate charity events. It's a great job and I love doing it although it can be a bit stressful and hectic at times." I realised I had started babbling and mentally told myself to get a grip. I don't know why but Harry made me feel a bit nervous.

"Sounds good. You mentioned you had to meets some clients, how late are you?"
I looked down at my watch and sighed. "Well the meeting was meant to start at 9, and now it is coming up to 10.10... so pretty late. I'm surprised they haven't left! My morning hasn't exactly been smooth sailing!"

The traffic in London is always awful, I looked out the window and couldn't help but think it probably would have been quicker for me to walk. Harry kept asking questions about me, where I'm from, what I like to do in my spare time, what restaurants I go to. The conversations just seemed to flow and occasionally I could feel him looking at me but I kept my focus on the other Londoners walking by outside. He seemed genuinely interested in the questions he asked and I couldn't help but feel intrigued about him, but knowing who he was, I didn't want to pry.

As we turned on to the road my office was on, I turned and stole a quick glance at Harry. He really was extremely gorgeous, he seemed very polite too which isn't as common in this day and age.
The car came to a stop and as I gathered my things together my stomach flipped slightly. For some reason I didn't want to get out and leave so soon but I knew I needed to make a pretty
quick exit . "Thank you so much for the lift, it was really nice to meet you."
"No problem at all, again I am sorry about earlier - I hope the rest of your day goes better than this morning has so far. Loving meeting you Jessica."

As I stepped out of the car without thinking I replied "it hasn't all been bad."
I smiled, shut the door and as I walked towards my building I kicked myself for not thinking before speaking. "Good one Jess, bet he thinks you're a right loser now." I tutted to myself and walked through the door - ignoring my gut telling me to look back once more.

I literally ran up the stairs and burst through my office door. My assistant Amy smiled and pointed to the stack of paper at the end of her desk.
I was running around my office trying to get the last bits of paperwork sorted when I heard Amy finishing her call. "Ok I will pass the message on to Jessica for you, she is in a meeting until 12 today but I will ask her to call you this afternoon. Take care, bye."
I really wanted to fill her in on this morning, but I knew I didn't have the time right now.
"I was starting to think you were going to take the day off Jess! I have put Mr Smith in the board room, he seems understanding and not too pissed off, so flash your gorgeous smile and I'm sure all will be completely forgotten!"
A little chuckle left my mouth and I thanked her as I passed to leave. Amy was a great assistant and a great friend too. As I walked up to the board room I couldn't help but re-run the journey with Harry and I knew that he would be a massive distraction for me for the rest of the day.
