Next week
Nicks POV
I placed the last of my stuff in the box that held my belongings. I couldn’t take everything with me, but I could take most of my stuff. I looked around my now empty room and sighed. This house had some good memories in it, and, I’m gonna miss it.

“Knock knock” a british accent said, followed by a knocking sound. I turned around and saw Zayn standing in the doorway.

“Hey” I smiled and closed up the box. Zayn stepped in my room and looked around the empty space.

“I’ll admit, I’m gonna miss this place” Zayn said.

“You’re just going to miss my trampoline” I joked. Zayn shrugged and nodded, making me giggle. “It’s a nice trampoline” Zayn stated.

“Yeah..” I said, taking one last glance around the room.

“You okay?” Zayn asked, coming closer to me. I nodded.

“I’m fine” I reassured him and bent down to pick up a box.

“Ah, hey, that’s what I’m here for” Zayn said, shooing me away and picking up the box.

“Thanks” I smiled.

“No problem” Zayn said. We both walked down the steps and out the front door to where everyone else was. Movers were loading up the last of the boxes and Niall and Liam were loading up Anjelicas car with boxes filled with my things.

“I’m gonna miss you Mrs. Knotts. You’re like a mother to me” Nikki gushed and hugged my mom.

“And you’re like a daughter to me” she said, rubbing her back.

“And I was..?” Anjelica joked and Lisa laughed.

“Also like a daughter to me, and at some point also Nicks future wife” Lisa joked back and went over to hug Anjelica. I rolled my eyes and Zayn went over to put the box in Anjelicas trunk.

“I’m gonna miss you also” Nikki said, scooping up Maddie.

“I’m gonna miss you more” she said, tears bubbling in her blue eyes.

“Hey, it’s okay” Anjelica said when Nikki set Maddie down. Tears started to make their way to my eyes when Maddie rushed over to me.

“Call me!” she blubbered and got down on my knees to hug her.

“Of course you weirdo” I said, trying my best not to cry. I’m going to admit, it’s harder leaving my little sister than it is leaving my parents.

“I love you..” she hiccuped.

“I love you too” I said, holding her tighter in my arms. My sister was crazy, weird, and annoying at times, but she was also fun and made me smile.

“C’mon Maddie, time to go” Brain said. I loosened my grip and let him gently pulling Maddie away.

“Nick!” Maddie cried as Brian picked her up and walked over to his car. I sadly watched her struggle in Brians arms.

“You better call me too” my mom said, keeping a straight face.

“Yeah yeah” I slightly smiled and pulled my mom into a hug.

“I’m going to miss you, whether you believe it or not” my mother whispered. I nodded and choked at her words. We pulled away arms length so she could look me in the eyes. “The only reason why I’m letting you stay is because I knew that I would eventually have to let you go..Nick, I love you” she said, her face now full with emotion.

“I love you too” I said. We may not be that close, but she still is my mom, I still love her.

“Lisa..” Brian softly said, walking up behind her. My mom nodded and let me go.

“Nice meeting you boys and thank you for taking care of my son” my mother nodded to the boys and they all returned it with sympathetic smiles.

“Well Nick, so this is goodbye” Brian said, sighing and holding out his hand.

“Yeah..goodbye Brian” I said, shaking his hand. And with that, my mom and Brain got in the car. I waved at Maddie and my mom as Brian drove off. I wiped at my eyes and Zayn pulled me into a tight hug.

“You okay?” Nikki asked and I nodded into Zayns chest. Zayn soothingly rubbed my hair, making me feel instantly better.

“Wanna go get some pizza?” Louis asked in a sympathetic tone and I giggled and nodded as I pulled away from Zayn.

“Good, because if you didn’t want to, then...well...we still would have gotten some” Niall smiled, causing all of us laugh.

Harrys POV
Four boxes of pizza later, we all hung around the girls place. Zayn was helping Nick unpack in his new room, Anjelica and Niall were talking in the kitchen, Louis and Liam were doing crazy things around the house, and Nikki and I just lounged in the living room. I wanted to talk to Nikki, but I’m not sure how to start the conversation. I mean, she said that she wanted to “get me”, but how do I do that when we can’t seem to speak when we are around. I mean, I’m not uncomfortable or even awkward being around her, it’s just that I can’t form the right words. I want to make things right and not mess everything up again.

“So, what do you think about Nick staying over with you guys?” I asked, brilliantly coming up with the question.

“Awesome! Nick already practically lived here” Nikki smiled, fluttering my heart.

“True” I said, not sure how to answer that question.

“Hey Harry..?” Nikki asked, moving over to sit next to me. I blushed and nodded. “Can I poke your dimples?” she asked and I slightly frowned. It reminded me of my past relationships. The girls would always ask that, and I never would deny them. “Nevermind..” Nikki said when I didn’t answer.

“No, go right ahead” I said, smiling big. She smiled a big, cheesy smile and pointed to her face in return.

“You can poke mine too, if you want” she said. I puzzled at her and she turned her cheek to the side, revealing a deep dimple on her left cheek.

“Well whaddaya know” I said, surprised that I never noticed it before. Maybe I don’t pay that much attention to her...whether it was a good thing or bad thing, I don’t know anymore. “Do you have one on your right cheek?” I asked, lifting up my hand to cup her chin and tilt it to the other side. There was one there, but it was faint. I smiled and poked her dimples, fascinated by how soft and gorgeous her skin was.

“Okay, okay” she giggled after I pressed my finger in her dimple for like the thousandth time “My turn.”

“Alright” I said, locking my fingers together underneath my chin and flashing my famous cupcake smile. Nikki burst out laughing, her skinny frame shaking as she did. “What?” I asked, still smiling.

“That is the most cheesiest, biggest, cutest smile I’ve ever seen” she tried to stop giggling by clamping her lips tight together, but it only made her look irresistibly and utterly adorable. I blushed a deep red, flattered that she thought it was cute. Nikki stopped laughing suddenly, but kept that perfect smile in her flawless face. “Oh hey Liam” she said. I turned around and saw Liam kind of just standing there. He looked a little sad, but that it was quick because he plastered on a smile.

“Hey Nikki” he said. I my smile faded and my lips twitched, trying to tug down. Liam kind of just ruined this moment that Nikki and I were sharing..

“Hey guys!” Louis popped up, whisper screaming.

“Hey Louis!” Nikki whisper screamed back, looking amused.

“Hey Harry!” Louis whispered.

“Why are we whispering?” I curiously whispered. Louis excitedly nodded his head to the kitchen, motioning for us to follow. We tip toed to the kitchen and Louis stopped us from just flat out walking into the kitchen.

“Wh-”

“Just listen” Louis said, cutting Nikki off. We all kept quiet, waiting to hear anything.

“I mean, I don’t mean to be so forward...” I heard Niall slip and slide with his words and I could vision him with bright red round cheeks. “I just, well, I would like to hang out sometime..” Niall said.

“Aren’t we doing that right now?” Anjelica giggled. I know that we shouldn’t be eavesdropping on their conversation, but it was just too cute to hear them.

“Yeah, but I mean like..like” Niall stopped and took a deep breath “Would you maybe..I don’t know, want to go on a date tomorrow night? I know its soon but I mea-

“Yes” Anjelica said. We all look at each other with goofy grins on our faces before running into the kitchen and hollering. Niall and Anjelica both jumped.

“Way to go man!” Liam said, patting Nialls back “You finally did it.”

“Were you eavesdropping?” Anjelica glared at her sister, who couldn’t stop smiling.

“Maybe” Nikki giggled, shaking off Anjelicas glare.

“Did somebody die?” Nick asked, walking into the kitchen with Zayn.

“Niall aske Anjelica on a date!” Nikki squealed and Nick started squealing with her.

“Aw Niall!” Nick said, smiling at Nialls red face. Nikki skipped over to Niall and whispered something into Nialls ear, causing Niall to smile and nod. I eyed her and she just winked, causing a small flame in my heart to ignite.

Okay, I'm so sorry that I didn't update! Since my grandma is leaving in two days, I have to spend even more time with her and do all this stuff so by the end of the day I'm tired and don't feel like updating xD But I apologize!
