Harrys POV
“Ow ow ow! Okay, bad idea” Nikki whimpered. I squeezed my eyes shut and painfully clenched my jaw. It was lightly throbbing where she hit me, and man, did she hit hard. I opened my eyes and forced myself to look over at Nikki who was cupping her fist and wincing. Louis and Taylor looked surprised at her outburst, while I probably looked pissed. I frowned at her, not caring that her fist hurt because my jaw hurt more. Why would she just punch me? I asked a simple question, what do you see in Liam? I just want to know. It frustrates me that she just doesn’t come right out with it what’s she’s thinking and feeling! She makes me go mad when she’s all over a guy, even if it’s one of my mates. I can’t help but take it the wrong way and get jealous. I don’t want to be caught up in a girl. I’m not staying here in California for much longer, I’ll have to leave with the rest of the boys when the time comes.

“What the heck!?” Taylor snarled at Nikki. In my drunken state, I couldn’t come up with something witty to say to Nikki. That and in my drunken state, I get more emotional, making me not to say rude things to her. I usually would go to parties and get drunk back in England to escape reality, escape the broken relationships I was in. My emotions would mix with the alcohol and cause me to do stupid things in order to fake what was going on. Taylor seemed to be one of those stupid, drunk things.

“Whatever, I didn’t hurt your boy toy that bad” Nikki said, then covered her mouth in shock at her words. I was taken aback. I didn’t know that she saw it that way. I was also taken aback because she looked upset. Was it because she didn’t like me being Taylors “boy toy?” Taylor threw herself towards Nikki, but Louis stepped in front and held her back.

“Harry, lets go” Louis said, holding back a tipsy and enraged Taylor.

“Move out of my way!” Taylor growled at Louis, scratching at him to get Nikki. Nikki stepped back and stumbled backwards on a stool. She fell straight into some womans lap. The woman frowned down at Nikkis sheepish apology and pushed her to the ground. Nikki screamed out in pain snapping me into a sober state.

“Hey!” Louis shouted, pushing Taylor away and crouching down next to Nikki.

“Harry, lets go somewhere else” Taylor said, pushing herself up against me. Nikki’s face twisted
in pain as Louis tried to help her. Guilt hit me like a ton of bricks and I shrugged Taylor off me. Taylor fumed and just ordered another drink.

“Nikki!?” I shouted, crouching down next to her. Nikki groaned and Louis helped her up.

“We’re leaving” Louis said and I nodded, agreeing with him. Nikki cupped her elbow as Louis escorted her out. It wasn’t surprising that no one took notice to what just happened, most people were drunk or just didn’t care. We rushed over to Louis car and Louis set Nikki safely in the back. She was quietly complaining about her elbow.

“What should we do?” I asked, looking over at Louis worriedly.

“I don’t know..she might have seriously got hurt” Louis said, nervously biting his nails.

Anjelicas POV
When Louis and Nicole left, we all kind of just sat there trying to lighten the mood, but we all gave up after 20 minutes.

“Why would Harry do this?” Nick asked, trying to make sense of why Harry would go to a club.

“I’m not sure. Louis knows him better than any of us, so maybe he would know” Liam sighed.

“Well I say he’s stupid for it. He’s always up and down” I huffed, sick of Harry’s crazy mood swings. “I mean, one minute he’s having a great time, the next he’s in a damper mood.”

“Obviously somethings going on with him” Zayn said, and Nick nodded.

“Maybe I should talk to him” Liam said and we all looked at him curious, except for Niall. I felt like Niall knew something that we didn’t. Like Liam was not telling us something. I didn’t hang out with them half as much as Nick and Nicole did, so I don’t know much.

“Why you?” Nick questioned, and I felt as if he was pushing it, but he did have a point. Why only Liam? Shouldn’t we all talk to him about it? I mean, we are all his friends, so we all should be able to talk to him together. Extra support. My phone vibrated, followed by my silly ringtone, interrupting Liams hesitant answer. Everyone seemed to immediately lighten up by the sound of my ringtone.

“It’s bone sucking good?” Niall snickered at my ringtone and I smiled.

“Duh” I said, hopping up to get my phone that was charging in the kitchen. Louis funny face danced danced on my phones screen and I was quick to answer. “Hello?” I asked. Louis voice rushed through the phone and it was hard to understand. “Slow down” I said slightly annoyed.

“We need your help down at the hospital” Louis said and my heart sank.

“W-why?” I asked, fearing the worst.

“I’m not her guardian or anyth-” Louis started to say, but I hung up and yanked my phone from the charger. Nikki was hurt, but just how bad? I sprinted past the living room and up the steps to grab my keys. I snatched my keys off of my messy desk and sprinted down the steps, successfully not falling.

“‘Jelca?” Nick asked as reached the bottom step. I ignored him and rushed down the hall to the front door.

“Anjelica!” Niall yelled close behind me. I opened the door, but someone reached out from behind me and shut it.

“Let me go there’s no time!!!” I frantically yelled, not turning around. Hands placed himself on my shoulders and spun me around, icy blue eyes peering concernedly at me.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, Nick, Zayn and Liam appearing behind him.

“It’s Nikki now I have to go!” I said panicked.

“Nikki? What ha-” Liam worriedly asked, but was unable to finish as I panically replied.

“I don’t know I just got a call, but I need to go!!!” I yelled, turning around and opening the door.

“We’re coming with you” Nick said as I clumsily unlocked my car. I was too concerned to object, so I just nodded and let them slip in the car with me. I sped down the empty street, barely any cars since it was almost 3 A.M. I badly parked in the closet empty spot in the hospital parking lot and busted out of the car with the rest of the guys. We bursts through the hospital doors and I ran up to the nurse.

“I’m here for Nicole Frank” I said as steadily as I could. I could feel the nervous sweat trickling down my neck and the side of my face. The nurse checked over her papers before answering.

“3rd floor, orthopedic unit” she said, giving me a sympathetic smile. I don’t know what the orthopedic unit is, but it doesn’t sound good. My breathing quickens as we head up to the third floor. Once the elevator doors open I ran down the halls, leaving the boys behind and searching for the orthopedic unit. I turned the left corner and run into Louis chest.

“Anjelica!” Louis said, reaching out and holding my arms to steady me.

“Where is she!?” I yelled, snapping my head in all directions.

“Calm down, she’s fine” Louis assures, but I don’t believe him. I have to see her with my own eyes.

“You were supposed to watch her!!” I yell even louder, earning glances from nearby nurses.

“I know..” Louis softly spoke, looking down. He looked so upset, I couldn’t yell at him anymore. I wasn’t exactly upset with him, I was just flustered and worried. I’m sure that it wasn’t his fault, but I’ll have to apologize later.

“Where is she?” I asked again.

“Next door on the left” Louis mumbled and I rushed to get to her.

“Nikki!” I said, rushing through the door. I saw her sitting on a long hospital seat, dressed in a gown, white tape on her right hand fingers and her right arm in a sling.

“Hi” Nikki sheepishly said, giving me a nervous smile. There was a doctor standing on the other side of the white room, checking ex rays and other stuff. I sighed in relief at the sight of her. I noticed Harry sitting in the corner of the room, or more like hiding, but I ignored him and walked over to her.
“Are you okay?” I asked, looking at her swollen knuckles and slung arm.

“Yeah” she nodded.

“And you are..?” the doctor asked, stepping closer to me.

“I’m the sister” I said, holding out my hand for him to shake. “Anjelica” I added, my nerves calming down.

“Hi Anjelica. I’m Dr. Raft” he said before continuing. “I’m actually Nicoles doctor that she checks up with about her bone deformities in her back and ribs” he added and I nodded. I’ve never gone with her then she gets those check ups, so this is the first time meeting him. “I see that mom isn’t here?” Dr. Raft said.

“Mom’s gone...on a long business trip” I lied and faked a smile.

“And I’m guessing that you’re over 18 and now the legal guardian?” he asked and I nodded. He nodded and got back to the task. “Well, Nicole has some sprained fingers, but those should heal quickly. She also has a fractured elbow” he said and I looked at her. She frowned and looked down at her slung arm. “She didn’t fracture to bad, so it will heal quicker. Give it around two months, towards the middle to end of January” he concluded. I looked over at Nikki, thinking the same thing she was, but she was brave enough to ask.

“Tennis season at my school starts the beginning of February. Does that mean my elbow will heal before then?” she asked, some fear in her expression.

“Well, playing tennis just after a fraction might not be the smartest thing. But since it’s not a major fraction, you may be able to pull it off. If you do some physical therapy and everything goes well, you should be fine” he smiled at her and she nodded. “Looks like we’re done here. I just need you to fill out some things and answer a few questions, but you can do that before we release her” he said to me before exiting.

“Can we come in now?” I heard a small voice ask, and I turned around to see all the boys heads peeking through the doorway.

“Come in” Nikki said and they all walked in with relieved sighs.

“Your alright” Liam said, scurrying to her side, but not hugging her like he would have.

“Yeah. I sadly have a fractured elbow and some sprained fingers though” Nikki faked a smile.

“What happened?” Nick asked and I saw Harry nervously shift out of the corner of my eye. I completely forgot that he was there and I was sure to give him a talking later. He was the source of all this that little butthead.

“Well, I kind of go pushed to the ground pretty hard at the club. I landed on my elbow” she answered, but that didn’t explain how she sprained her fingers.

“Nicole” I said, raising my eyebrows.

“And I punched Harry in the face..” She mumbled and I smirked.

“Wow, really?” Zayn asked and she nodded. Serves him right, if he wasn’t so stubborn and moody, we would have never been here. Now she can’t practice tennis before tennis season starts and now she really can’t get a job.

“Where is Harry?” Liam asked and I spoke up.

“Being a coward by hiding in the corner” I said, tone hinted in my voice. Harry emerged from the corner, looking down.

“I’m sorry” Harry practically whispered, but I still was upset. The big, red bump on his jaw was visible, showing us all that Nikki really could pack a punch.

“Apology somewhat accepted” Louis snapped, obviously still upset at him just like the rest of us.

“Miss Frank?” Dr. Raft said, emerging back into the room. His eyes slightly widened at all the boys in the room, and I walked over to him, motioning to go back out into the hallway.

“Yes?” I asked. He handed me a slip and told me to go get the medicine written down for Nikki at the pharmacy. After that, he told me that Nikki was free to go and I was whisked away to sign papers and answer questions.

Nicks POV
It’s such a relief that my best friend was alright, Anjelica gave us quite a scare when she rushed off. There’s still tension, for we all are still a little frustrated with Harry’s silly action that led to Nikki’s injury, but we put it aside for Nikki’s sake. The doctor said not to cause any stress or problems around her for the rest of the night. It was sad to watch Nikki, because I could tell that it already was a burden to her, for she won’t be able to practice tennis and really do any fun physical things.

“I can’t” Nikki said, refusing to take the pain pill. Nikki was never able to swallow pills. She ends up spitting them out. I don’t know why she can’t do it, it’s not hard at all.

“Nikki” Liam said, slightly frowning at her. Anjelica gave a pain pill to Liam since she was off making calls to banks and health insurance while Louis and Harry were outside talking, obviously about what happened. That left me, Niall, Liam and Zayn to get Nikki to take her medicine.

“Doesn’t your elbow hurt?” Zayn said, leaning against the fridge in the kitchen.

“Yes..” Nikki mumbled from her spot on the counter and Zayn gave her a small smile that always made him appear innocent and cute.

“You know that the pill will make it feel better?” Zayn said and Nikki muttered another yes.

“You can do it” Liam encouraged, holding up the pill and a glass of water. Nikki visibly gulped and grabbed the glass and the pill. She quickly popped it in her mouth and gulped down the water.

“Good job” Zayn clapped. Nikki gagged before blinking a few times and smiling triumphantly.

“See? That wasn’t so bad” Niall said through a mouthful of food.

“Actually, it was terrible” Nikki said and Liam carefully helped her off of the counter. Niall snickered and almost choked on his food, causing Zayn to laugh at his silliness. I just laughed because Zayns laugh is so contagious.

“Guys, it’s almost 4 A.M.” Liam marveled and Nikki shrugged.

“I’ve stayed up later..or earlier I should say?” Nikki said, walking out into the living room. “How long until the pill takes effect?” Nikki asked as we walked in after her. She carefully sat down on the chair and Liam left to go ask Anjelica since she had the medicine with her.

“Where’s Louis?” she asked.

“Outside, talking to um..Harry” Zayn said and Nikki looked looked flustered. I’m sure that she wanted to talk about this, but I’m guessing that she knew that right now she couldn’t, so she decided to say something else.

“So which one of you is going to feed me?” Nikki jokingly asked and we giggled a little at her.
“No, I’m serious” she said with a straight face, but soon cracked a smile, causing us to giggle a little bit more.

‘How can you keep a straight face? I could never do that” Niall said and she smirked.

“Me and my sister used to do it for fun, she which one would crack. Over time we got better” Nikki said and Liam and Anjelica walked in.

“Can you do it now for us?” Zayn asked, his interest sparked.

“Do what?” Anjelica asked and Nikki just stared at Anjelica straight faced. Anjelica stared back blankly and it was weird how they just held each others stare.

“Okay, while they do that, me and you” Zayn said, looking at me with an adorable blank expression. A smile immediately broke out on my face and Zayn struggled not to smile. “Nick, straight face” Zayn said, still struggling and I shook my head to stop smiling. I peered back up at Zayn and searched his chocolate eyes. It was fun and cute how he blankly stared, almost appearing bored. I stared at him, but then my eye twitched and Zayn and I broke down laughing. Niall and Liam couldn’t even look at each other they were struggling and laughing so much. The four of us settled down, but Anjelica and Nikki were still in a expressionless stare. They were closer than they were before and we gathered around them.

“Poke poke” Zayn said, poking Anjelica’s shoulder. Surprisingly, she didn’t even blink, not a flinch.

“Moo” Liam said close to Nicoles ear, but she just stared on at Anjelica. Niall reached up and poked Anjelica’s cheek, and her lips twitched ever so slightly. Niall smiled and poked her cheek more until she broke down laughing. We laughed with her, all except for Nikki. Her eyelids slowly closed and her head slumped to the side.

“Nikki?” Anjelica asked, but Nikki didn’t respond.

“Man, she’s out cold” Niall chuckled.

“Must have been the pill” Liam said, carefully scooping Nikki up in his arms. Liam carried her off to her room, Anjelica right behind him. The sight of Nikki sleeping made me sleepy and I yawned.

“Tired?” Zayn asked, and I nodded. “Me too.”

“Me three” Niall blinked slowly.

“Lame” Anjelica said, walking in with blankets and pillows. “How can you be tired?” she asked.

“I’m not tired” Niall said, straightening up.

“Good, because we’re gonna watch a movie” she said, laying down some pillows and blankets on the floor before handing Zayn and I some. Louis and Harry walked in, both looking a mess.

“Just in time, we’re going to watch a movie” Niall said, sitting on the floor with Anjelica as she turned on a movie.

“Okay” Harry and Louis blandly spoke and both stretched over the other couch.

“Where’s Liam?” Louis asked. Anjelica looked hesitant to answer and I’m sure that Louis got the message and said nevermind. Zayn tossed his blanket over to Louis and Harry.

“Can we share?” Zayn asked, motioning to my blanket.

“Of course” I said, my heart beating a little faster. I draped the blanket over us and I loved how close we were to each other. Our skin grazed ever so slightly, causing my insides to go mad,

“Thanks” Zayn yawned, causing me to yawn also. I was surprised that I made it 10 minutes into the movie, I was so tired. Miss “I’m not tired” was sound asleep next to a Mr. “I’m not tired.” I smiled sleepily at them before dozing off on Zayns shoulder.

Hello my lovely directioners!!! I have an announcement. I've already decided on making a second and third book! I won't spoil it for you, but all I have to say is that things get crazier and crazier!!! Oh and I also need to know your insight on what I'm about to ask/explain. SO I was thinking about putting little extra chapters in. They're short chapters that have nothing to do with the main situation at hand, but more like and insight on the cute little things the boys and sisters do in detail. Like I might put in a really short chapter on how Anjelica gets sick and Niall cutely takes care of her. I just want to know if you all would like that. Because I would put in those little extra chapters when I don't have time to post a long chapter about whats going on. I totally want to know what ya'll think!!
