Too Many Secrets
Chapter 3
Ryann POV
As I awoke in bed I was confused at first then remembered that I was at my sisters house. I had called Channing last night to hear him scream angrily at me for not calling. My night had consisted of me apologizing while sniffling back tears that were threatened to spill. I never was fond of being yelled at but when the boy I loved did it, I just wanted to crawl into a fetal position and never move again.
I wa surprised to see that I had woken up so early. The clock read 8:47 and I sighed knowing I wasn’t going back to sleep soon. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my pink and blue hair. The color was almost completely faded out but I liked it that way.
As I walked down the stairs I peeked to my right to see if anyone was up but found myself alone in the room. I walked through the door of the kitchen and heard it swing back and forth before stopping completely. I grabbed items including eggs, bacon, and pancake mix before shutting the refrigerator with my foot. I sat the ingredients on the counter before grabbing pans from the cabinets below me.
As I was mixing the pancake mix and was checking the bacon I felt arms go around my waist loosely, almost tiredly.
A kiss was pressed to my cheek before the person’s left hand made its way to my bare thighs. I didn’t think anyone would wake for some time so I was just in a loose black shirt, black and red lace underwear, with my hair swept to the left out of my face. Their hands traveled up under my shirt and stopped immediately on my rose tattoos that were connected at the leaves and traveled not too far up my left side. The person quickly stepped back and hit their back on the island in the middle of the kitchen.
I turned around at the mysterious person and waved at them;my fingers moving one at a time.
“Good Morning to you too, Harold,” I said smirking. I was very fond of Harry and how he rubbed on me made me forget about my boyfriend. It made me forget he was even dating my sister that was just upstairs.
“I am so sorry for that I just thought you were-,” he started but I cut him off.
“You thought I was Charlotte?” I asked. “You don’t have to be nervous,” I told him giggling. “I would be lying if I said I didn’t like it much more than I should have.”
I walked over to him and gave him a brief three second kiss on the cheek; closer to his lips than I should have been.
As I pulled away, I could hear jumble down the stairs and could hear voices to match. Charlotte walked into the kitchen and gave Harry a peck on the lips and immediately came and helped me cook the bacon that thankfully hadn’t burned.
“Two girls half bare in the kitchen; this must be a dream,” Niall joked and caused us to laugh.
We served the food and I watched as Harry laughed at what the boys said with food on his fork. He occasionally get a scoff from my sister because he was laughing and talking with food in his mouth but that didn’t faze him. He sat in front of me, giving me a grin every few minutes. He had a look of sheer surprise on his face when I touched his leg with mine. I rubbed at his skin delicately while biting my lip giving him a seductive look.
He played the game of footsie with me but talked to Louis at the same time. He didn’t want to make it obvious he was doing something you would do with your girlfriend, instead he was doing it with the sister.
After breakfast we all headed into our rooms getting dressed for the day. As I was picking out my clothes a knock came to my door and it opened without my permission. It was Charlotte who just stuck her head through the door leaving the rest of her body in the hallway.
“We’re going paintball shooting so just throw on something comfortable,” she informed me and left just as soon as she came.
I smiled at the thought of me hiding in a small compacted spot with Harry, sealed away from the world. Just him and I. When that happens, we’ll do more than play footsie.
