Chapter 5
Elizabeth's P.O.V
My eyes are closed, I'm holding onto my memories, I am all alone in my head.
War is coming, I can hear it in my heart. Blood will flow along the grounds of the innocent, I can't deceive the darkness anymore...
Death is just an anesthetic for what's to come, a body left behind with no face.
Waking with a startle, I look around I see four white walls, an window is the only thing bringing in a little light. I try to crawl to it when I stumble upon something as I try to get a better look I see a dead body underneath. Jumping back against the wall I slide down and fold my knees against myself as I scream. Bodies covered the floor, blood along the walls.
Screaming is all I hear, lost souls trying to find a way out. Putting my head into my hands I cry, please be a dream. But nothing came, the stanch of death burning my nose cavity. Suddenly a banging came from above, footsteps could be heard as they slowly walked closer to the door. Rattling against the door told me someone was coming in.
Suddenly fear crept up inside me as I tried to cower away from the man that just entered. He slowly walked over to me while holding a little lantern. Kneeling down he reached out for my face and sighed " I told them not to put you down here " he whispered ever so softly " he will be punished ". Standing back up he grabbed my hands and pulled me to my feet as he led me out of the horrible room.
Once we were in the light I could see who it was and once again I was scared " Please let me go home I I beg of you " I cried showing him that I was weak.
Shaking his head he put his hands on my shoulders " I am not here to hurt you love, I am going to protect you from good and evil " He told me.
Walking me up a long corridor he showed me a room " you will stay here, now please rest and we will speak soon about what is happening " and as fast as he came he was gone leaving me alone in a new room and new life.
