Chapter 14
Elizabeth P.O.V
Running towards a window I tried having a better look but the heat from the flames pushed me back further, the terror of the screams shook me back to realty and I ran. Slowly walking towards the door that kept me in the room I tried to open it but it was locked like I thought it would be. Sighing I looked around the room seeing if I could use anything to open it. I tried running at the door and barging it open but my little body couldn't handle it, it crumbled down. Tears fell from my eyes as the pain hit my wrist sprained from trying to hard.
Slowly standing again I banged on the door loudly, but surely no one could hear me over the screams " Please " I cried " Help ! ".
Hours passed and no one came to help, the room slowly now starting to fill with smoke. My breathing became weak and I knew soon enough I would pass out due to lack of Oxygen. Walking towards the bed I climbed into it and curled into a ball, no matter how loud I yell no one was going to hear me so I need to save my Oxygen. Sighing I looked back at these few months and how far I had come. What my life had become. The person I thought of the most was Harry, the first time I saw him was the reason everything changed for me. If I just worked a little or earlier or even if I just went a different way home none of this would of happened. He would of never of found me, but then I was destined for this so no matter what in time I would of been dragged into this world without any warning.
Sleep slowly over took me and I knew that this would be the last time I would ever be awake, that this would be the last time I would see this world for now.
I accepted my fate from here, my life was in Gods hands right now it was all up to him what happens to my Life.
Harry P.O.V
The halls of Lucife's Castle carried me for ages, I finally ran into Niall " Where is she ?! " I yelled to him. He just shook his head, Groaning I leaned against the wall and closed me eyes trying to block out some of the madness around us.
My men were falling fast and I needed to find Elizabeth quickly and get out of here before its too late. Pushing myself off the wall I carried myself down the hall further opening every door that was on this floor when suddenly I came across a locked door. " Niall Here " I yelled to him for help to open the doors, the smoke becoming thick from the fires that had started in the Castle, soon enough this area will be engulfed in flames and we will all die in here. Niall and I barged on the door until the hinges couldn't take it, luckily for us it was a very old door so it didn't take long.
Covering my mouth the room was filled with smoke, it becoming trapped in the room due to no windows being open. Walking in I tried looking around but it was so dark but suddenly I seen a figure on the bed. Running over to the figure I seen a girl lying still, her lifeless body covered in blood.
Having a closer look I realized who it was, it was Elizabeth. Jumping onto the bed and grabbing her. I hugged her and tried looking for a pulse " Come on " I yelled tears threatened my eyes. But there was nothing " Please don't do this " I cried not caring who saw. I cradled her in my arms, not wanting to let her go. Slowly I stood off the bed and carried her with me.
I wasn't leaving her here, she is going where she belongs and that's back at the Castle.
Two days has passed and its dark in the Castle, no light is carried through here anymore. Her body is still lying lifeless in front of me. Her cold hand is resting my warm one. My blood is pumping through my veins her's isn't anymore. I tried and I failed to save her.
Today we were finally laying her to rest, I wanted one last moment with her before I said my goodbyes. Standing up I leaned down and kissed her forehead " Goodbye Love " Tears slowly started making there way down my cheeks and landing softly on her pale face.
Turning around I started making my way towards turning back once more " I'm sorry " I whispered before leaving the room and once again leaving her alone in a world Ill never know about.
