Niall POV

One Month Later



I got all my bags and things sorted out and someone from the military will be here in around an hour, I am nervous but at the same time excited to be starting a new mission and a new start to a new journey. My father before he died told me that I was destined to do this and that no matter what I should never give up, even if I crash and burn so this is what happened to me I thought this was the end of the run for me but something inside me didn’t want to give up. I am going to miss my family a lot and only God will tell when I will ever see them again, but for now I am giving my life to God he will be the one that will guide me through in life now.

Rose: “My handsome husband is going to go back now I am going to miss you like hell, I will be counting the days till I have you back in my arms. Please stay safe Niall I don’t want to have another heart attack again, call me whenever you get the chance to so I can know you are fine and I wont have to worry.”

I looked at her beautiful eyes and spun her around, “I am never going to forget the endless talks we had. You accepted me for who I am and that is something I am forever grateful for, you know I never used to believe in first love sure I was in love before but you took me into another place that is completely different I have never felt this way before. The moment I laid my eyes on you and we started to talk, I told my mates that I am going to marry this girl one day and they didn’t believe me they all thought I was crazy but the truth is I was crazy in love with you.”

Rose: “You are crazy you know that for once in my life I can smile endlessly and I can open up to someone, without being judged you listen to me baby and that is why I love you the most you make me so happy in life.”

1 Hour Later

I guess this was the time that I was dreading to come the doorbell rung and I carried all my things, tears were streaming down Angel, Rose and Debbie’s eyes I gave them all one strong hug before I left. As I was walking towards the van the door opened again, Angel came running outside of the house.

Angel: “Daddy please stay safe I am begging you I don’t want you to go yet, I am not ready for you to die please stay safe I love you daddy.” That was the moment when I grabbed her and carried her, “Daddy is not going anywhere not anytime soon honey okay I promise I will be fine. Take care of mommy and aunt Debbie alright and tell me all about your school experiences, remember this song. You’ll be in my heart, you’ll be in my heart, from this day on now and forever more.”

I put my little baby down and I kissed her one last kiss, I have never thought it would be this hard for me to leave my family behind I love them with all my heart so much.
