Could we forgive and forget?

LILY'S POV

As I sit near the window and look out at the sea, I cant seem to shake this overwhelming feeling of sadness that looms over me. I'm not ready to go home because going home means I have to face reality, and I'm not ready to endure the stress that comes with reality.

"Hey Lil's, do you want a soda?" Harry asks from downstairs.

Harry and I have known each other since we were in diapers. We are the best of friends, matter of fact he is more like a brother than he is a friend. We do everything together and practically know everything about each other.

Harry can do some pretty cool things, like right not we are staying in a hut on the Caribbean. He rented the hut out for the week of my birthday so that we could celebrate together.

this past week has been heaven, but I guess all good things have to come to end right?

"yes please" I call out to him.

As I hear Harrys footsteps ascend up the steps, I quickly get up and make it look like I've been packing.

"Were you packing or procrastinating?" Harry laughs while he hands me my soda.

"Packing" I lie and stick my tongue out at him.

"Look I know you don't want to leave, but we have to go home at some point right? And who knows maybe we can rent out the hut again next year and bring our friends and we can show the all the fun things we did!" he suggests.

"your right" I smile "alright now help me finish packing you nerd"

"Nerd? who you calling nerd!" he asks

"oh just be quiet and help me." I laugh

Within a couple hours we had somehow managed to fit all of my clothes into the suitcases, which tired me out. I never know how much clothing I had until it was time to put them all away. Even if it was just for a week... Harry on the other hand was still full of energy, surprising me. His packing was no problem. I plopped onto my bed lazily, wondering what should be done in the last couple hours of staying in paradise.

"What are you thinking about?" I feel Harry nudge my side once the bed had dipped.

"I don't know. What do you want to do in these last couple hours?" I ask him, my voice muffled by the bed sheets.

"Say that again, couldn't understand you over the laziness." He jokes.

"Haha, how funny." I mumble. I turn onto my side and look up at Harry who was holding back his laughter. "Do you want to play would you rather?" I suggest.

"You know I'm always up for a game of would you rather." Harry smirks, getting excited. He is always up for it, no matter what. It's practically his favorite game.

"Alright, but prepare to lose..." I challenge him as I sit up across from him.

"Are you sure about that, Princess?" He asks, bouncing his eyebrows with a smile. I roll my eyes at him.

"Hell ya!" I say obviously. I can easily get to his level on this game.

"Okay you go first." He says, motioning me to think of one. Let's see... Ah. Got it.

"Alright hotshot, would you rather... Have a vagina on your forehead or... Have a row of penises on your back like a stegosaurus?" I laugh at the end, the look on his face was priceless as he is probably imagining it in his mind.

"Wow. That's kind of creepy, but I guess I would go with the row of penises, because at least I can cover them up with a jacket or something?" He shrugs.

"True, true. Okay your turn." I say, awaiting my turn.

"Ok well would you rather have sex with a goat and have NOBODY know about it or would you rather NOT have sex with the goat but have everyone think you did." he asks

"That's easy. I would have sex with the goat so that way nobody would know I did." I explain

"That's gross, you would literally have sex with a goat?" he asks

"ya that way no one would know and that way I don't get made fun of" I say

Just as he was about to respond, my phone started to ring.

"Hang on its my mom" I say to harry and quickly grab my cell.

"Oh tell her I say hi" Harry calls out to me as I run into the other room.

"Hello?" I say into the phone

"Hey sweetie" my mom says

"Hey mom, how are you guys at home?" I ask

"Things are good here. How are things on paradise island?" my mom laughs

"Things are amazing! I'm so not ready to come home, no offence" I laugh

"None taken sweetie. So I take it that this is the best birthday ever?" she asks

"Oh yes!! So far Harry has taken me to go scuba diving, snorkeling, canoeing, boat riding, and taken me to all these fancy restaurants on the water!" I exclaim

"Oh wow. I'm so happy that your having fun. Well I better let you go, its getting late and you have an early plane to catch tomorrow morning. What time are you supposed to land?" she asks

"Well the plane lands at noon, but by time we actually get off the plane and grab our luggage it will probably be 12:30 or 12:45." I explain

"Ok well after you land try to hurry, we have a surprise for you when you get home."

"Oh ok mom. I love you."

"I love you to sweetie, sweet dreams" she says

After I'm done talking to my mom I walk into mine and Harry's room to find that he is knocked out!

"that's just great" I huff

I walk over to Harry and take his jeans off so that he is comfortable in just a t-shirt and boxers. I know that's weird but I used to take baths with Harry so seeing him in his boxers is nothing.

After I finish tucking him in, I go change into my pj's and head over to my bed. I make sure to set our alarm for 4:00am since we have to be on the plane by 6:00am.

Right before I go to bed I take my cell phone out and text L goodnight.

To L: hey babe, just wanted to say goodnight and that I cant wait to see you tomorrow ;)

A few moments later I get a reply

From L: I cant wait to see your beautiful face again, I have missed you so much. sweet dreams baby <3

After I read his message I quickly delete our messages so that Harry doesn't see them. After that I turn out the light and fall asleep with a huge smile on my face
