I dare you

Alec's P.O.V.
I walk back into the garage and I see that Justin is on the ground and Maya is gone." I help Justin up and say "What happened?" He says "I put a tracker on Maya's car and she found it. Somehow she knew it was me and She said that I was going to try and kill her because she has powers that makes her better then anyone else." I say "Powers? What powers?" He says "She started running and neon lights went around her. She run up the walls, Run over cars. She's not human." I say "There's no way that is Maya." He says "She did it when we were little. I thought it was just my imagine, a joke. But it wasn't. My parents told her to control it. She tried but couldn't. Sarah was the only one that could get her to control it." I say "Well we have to go after her. Get her back here so no one can see her. She's going to Cali right? We just have to go there." He says "She doesn't know the address. I never gave it to her." I say "Then we went home and stayed with her sister." He says "My sister isn't that stupid." He says "The secret room. We have to open it." I say "We can't. its voice activated." He says "Who's voice?" I say "Maya's." He says "Luckily I can track her on her phone."

Maya's P.O.V.
I say "Can you get my phone and pull the card out?" Sarah does and says "Why?" I say "Just do it. I'll explain later." She does and hands it to me and I break it in half and throw it out the window. Sarah says "Where are we going?" I say "Chicago." She looks at me and says "Why Chicago?" I say "Its a safe house that mom and dad gave us to go to that will protect us from the gang." She says "I thought you said you were done protecting me." I say "I lied. I will never ever stop protecting you. Your my sister." She smiles and says "Your glowing?" I say "My powers are activated again." She says "What. No way." I nod and say "Justin tired to kill me and I took off running. Lights s-around me." She says "Well I'm glad you came to me." Pain shoots through my back and I pull over and scream. Sarah says "Maya?" I get out and walk to the other side of the car and Scream again. Sarah grabs my hand and says "Breath, Maya. Breath." I slow my breathing and we end up sitting on the ground and people slowing down and watching us. Sarah says "Pull it together Maya." I say "I'm trying. It hurts." She says "You kept them hidden for way to long. Just breath." I look around and see a truck pull up and a guy gets out and runs over to us and says "Is she ok?" Sarah says "Yea. She's fine." He says "You sure? Is there anything I can do? I have water in my truck." Sarah says "Water please." He runs to his car and brings a bottle of water back and hands it to me. I take it and take a sip before closing my eyes and the pain goes away. Sarah says "Maya?" I open my eyes and She says "You ok?" I nod and stand up. The guy says "I'm Edward." I say "I'm Maya and this is my twin sister Sarah." She smiles and says "Nice to meet you both." I say "You too. We should get back on the road." He says "Where ya heading?" Sarah says "Chicago. You?" He smiles and says "Same. Going to see a old family friend." I nod and say "Cool." Sarah gets in the car and He says "You sure your ok?" I nod and say "Yea. Well bye." He says "Bye." I get in the car and get back on the road and finish the drive.

When we get to the house, I pull up to the house, and say "Stay here and I'll be right back." Sarah nods and I walk to the house and knock on the door. A guy walks to it and says "Can I help you?" I say "Maya Elizabeth West. My parents said I could come here to find someone to protect me and my sister?" He says "Are you alone?" I shake my head and say "My sister is in the car." He says "Well get your stuff and her then come with me." I nod and say "Sarah grab the stuff and come on." She is with me in a matter of seconds and we follow the guy to a bedroom and he says "This is you room." I nod and then we walk to a office and He says "Stay here. I'll be right back." We nod and he walks into the office and says "People are here to see you sir." He says "Who?" He says "The West girls. Maya and Sarah." The guy clears his throat and says "Send Maya in." He says "What about Sarah?" He says "Leave her out there for a minute." I look at Sarah and say "You'll be fine." The door opens and the guy says "he will see you first Maya." I nod and walk into the room and close the door behind me. The guy says "Welcome. Your parents said you would be coming." I say "When did they set this up?" He says "Right before they dead." He turns around and I say "James?" He smiles and says "Hey Maya." I say "How? When?" He says "I always knew your family and I promised them I would protect you and Sarah, so I'm keeping that promise."
