*MAYA'S P.O.V.*
-DAY AFTER HER DATE-
After Alec dropped me off, I walked inside and went to sleep. When I wake up, I take a shower then change into, and walk downstairs. When I get to the bottom of the stairs, the doorbell goes off and I walk to it and see Alec standing there. I open the door and say "Can I help you?" He says "May I came in?" I look back in the house and Sarah is probably still asleep so I open the door a little and say "Sure." He walks in and says "I know this is a touchy subject but. How did your parents die?" I say "Um, A gang killed them. A year ago. Why?" He says "I was just asking." I nod and say "So what are you doing here?" He says "See if you wanted to go out with me tonight. My friends and I are all going to a club and they have dates but I don't." I say "So you want me to be your date?" He says "If you want to. I understand if you don't." I say "Sure. I just have to call my friends to watch Sarah." He says "Why don't you bring her with you?" I say "She's only sixteen so she can't get in." He says "Trust me. I can get her in." I say "Ok." He says "So is that a yes?" I nod and Sarah says "Morn...." I look at her and say "Hey Sarah. How would you feel about going to a club tonight?" She smiles and says "Really?" I nod and say "Yea. Alec here wants me to be his date and you could use some fun so We were gonna take you with." He shakes hands with Sarah and Sarah says "But I don't have a date." Alec says "I can hook you up with someone?" I look at him and She says "Um, Sure." He says "Ok Well I should get going and tell my friends that We're coming." I nod and we walk to the door and say "Bye Alec." He kisses my cheek and says "Be ready by five." I nod and watch as he walks to his car and gets in.
After His gone, I close the door and Sarah says "He still seems scary but nice." I smile and say "We have to find you something to wear." She smiles and says "Yea." We walk to my room and I say "Pick out something." She looks through my closet and picks out, and I say "That one?" She nods and says "It's sexy yet something for my age." I smile and say "Ok."

*Alec's P.O.V.*
After I leave Maya's house, I go to my house. When I get there, I walk inside and Jake says "Don't you knock?" I say "No. But I have a date for you tonight. My future girlfriends sister." He says "Future girlfriend? Don't you get every girl that you lay eyes on?" I nod and says "Not this one. She's different from the rest." He says "That's what you say about every girl." I say "I know but I mean it this time and I'll prove it to you tonight." He sighs and says "Fine but I'm warning you that I won't like her." I say "Ok well I'm sure you'll change your mind when you see her." He shakes his head and says "No. No I won't." I sigh and say "What ever you say but You might like her sister. She's sixteen and has brown hair and looks exactly like my girl." He says "Why did I trust you to set me up with girls?" I smile and say "Because you know I set you up with awesome girls." He smirks and says "I hate it when your right." I say "I know." With that, I walk to my room and take a quick nap.

*Maya's P.O.V.*

After I take a nap, I get up and take a quick shower and change into, then walk to Sarah's room and say "You ready?" She walks out of her room and says "How do I look?" While looking down at the floor. I smile and say "Want me to curl your hair?" She looks at me and nods. We walk back into my room and I curl her hair then my own and then stand in front of the mirror. She says "We look hot." I smile and say "We should get downstairs and wait." She nods and we pull our heels on and walk downstairs and to the door. Once we get to the bottom of the stairs, The doorbell goes off and Sarah opens the door for Alec and his friend to come in. Once their inside, I say "Hey Alec." They look at me and Alec says "Hey Maya, This is my friend Jake. Jake this is Maya and Sarah." Jake says "Which one is my date?" Sarah says "That would be me. I'm Sarah." He smiles and says "Nice to meet you." I say "You too. Shouldn't we get going?" Alec nods and says "That we should." We walk to Alec's car and Sarah and Jake get in the back with me and Alec in the front.
After we're all in the car, We drive to the club and I freeze when I see it. Sarah says "Maya? What's Wrong?" I don't say anything and She says "Can you pull in now please." Alec does and Jake gets out and Sarah opens my door and says "Maya? What is it?" I look at her and says "This club. T-this is were our parents died. This is where the gang meets." Jake says "A gang killed your parents?" Sarah nods and says "Last year." Alec says "Do you want to go to a different Club? We could always reschedule with our friends." I say "N-No. I don't want you to do that. I'll be fine." I get out and wrap my arm around Sarah's while Alec takes my hand and Jake takes Sarah's. We walk into the club and I look around. The place hasn't changed. Alec and I get a table while Sarah and Jake get drinks. After a little while, Sarah comes back and says "I want to dance." Jake and I say "I'll dance with you." Sarah says "Thanks Jake but I want to dance with my sister first." He nods and says "Thats understandable." She nods and we walk onto the dance floor and start dancing.
After a little while, I feel hands wrap around my waist and I turn around to see Alec and Jake goes with Sarah. I say "Smooth." He smiles and says "You sure you ok?" I nod and say "Yea. I'm sorry for freaking out." He says "It's ok. I didn't know." I nod and look around and see a guy staring at me and a flashback comes back of that night.

*FLASHBACK*
"Stay here Maya. Don't move." My dad says as he walks into the club with my mom. I was only eighteen so I walked in after them and Stayed in the doorway. My dad says "What do you want Shawn?" The guy says "I want your daughter, Maya." My mom says "While you can't have her." He says "Now Cathy, I was going to try and do this the easy way but I have no other choice." With that, He pulls out the gun and kills my dad. I scream and the guy looks at me along with my mom. She says "Run Maya." My mom kicks the guy and takes off to me and we run outside with the guy on our heels and She says "Protect your sister. Get out of here and never come back because they will not stop looking for you." I say "Why mom? Why does he want me?" The guy shots her and She falls to the ground and I say "Mom!" She says "Your special Maya. Get your sister and Run. Never come back here." I look at the guy then take off running.
*END OF FLASHBACK.*

Alec says "Maya?" I look at him and I notice that I'm on the ground and everyone is staring at me. I say "What happened?" He says "You blacked out. You ok?" I nod and Sarah says "Maya? What happened? You look like you saw a ghost." I stand up and say "I saw the guy that killed our parents. His here somewhere." Sarah looks around and says "Can you see him anymore?" I look around and see him. Standing in a corner. I say "No. I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be right back." Sarah says "Do you want me to come with you?" I shake my head and say "Alec can you watch my Sarah?" He nods and I take off in the direction of the guy. When I reach him, I say "Who the hell are you and Why the hell did you want me last year?" He says "Maya right?" I nod and says "Answer me." He says "I'm Shawn and Like your mom said. Your special." I say "Why do you want me? Why not my sister?" He says "Because you learn quicker then her." I say "I'm surprised you still want me." He says "O trust me. I was still trying to find you but I sent Alec and Jake to look for you and find you. Looks like it worked." I look at Alec and Sarah and Jake. Jake and Alec have Sarah pinned in a corner and He says "You can either come with me and save your sister, or I let Jake rape her and kill her." I say "You wouldn't. She's only sixteen." He says "I can do whatever I want and its your choice." I say "Fine I'll go with you but what do I have to do?" He says "You know I'm the gang leader right?" I nod and He says "Your going to be apart of the gang." Alec and Jake walk over to me with Sarah and She says "What's going on?" I say "I'm sorry Sarah." Alec says "I'll take her home." I say "I'll call Wyatt and send him there to watch her." Shawn says "Fine. but she can't say anything." I say "She doesn't know anything." Sarah says "What's going on? Maya you know I can't loose you too." I say "And your not. I'm just going away for a little while." Tears fill my eyes and hers while Alec pull her away and I say "Wait." I hug her and then Jake pulls me away from her and to Shawn's car.
After that, We drive somewhere and Jake walks me inside and to a bedroom and He says "This is your room. You aren't a prisoner so you can come and go as you please. But don't try to escape." I look out the window and nod. I hear Alec say "She gets it. Leave." I hear the door close and someone walk to me and Alec says "I'm...." i say "Just leave me alone. I can't believe I almost trusted you." I laugh a little bit and say "I can't believe I doubted myself." He says "I'm sorry Maya." Tears fill my eyes and I look at him. I say "No Your not. I told you want happened with my parents and you saw how freaked out I got. You show how freaked out I got when I saw that club. Shawn is the guy that killed my parents. You know why I took boxing?" He shakes his head and I say "I take them so I can protect Sarah from you. From the gang yet here I am, becoming a gang member that killed our parents. I failed." He just looks at me and I say "Just leave me alone ok? I don't want you near me and sure as hell don't want to see you." He says "You know I can't do that." I say "I don't know what you can and can't do but I know that I don't want you near me so leave." I look back out the window and He sighs. Then leaves.
After the door is closed, I cry. Sit by the window and cry. Wishing that I had Sarah here. She lost me like she did our parents. I will get way from here and We will do what Mom said. Leave here and never return.
