What Just Happened?
*Adelaide's POV*
I must have passed out or something because I woke up in a hospital bed. Alli and all the boys were surrounding my bed. "What happened? How did I end up here?" They all looked at each other, Alli began to talk. "Well, uh, we were all standing in the living room when your phone rang. You walked outside and was talking for about a minute. The next time we looked you were out cold. So we took you to the hospital." "Oh... then that was just a dream." Harry chimed in. "What was just a dream." "Well I wrote down everything he said to me and gave it to Alli to read aloud before after running to my room. Then you all came in and said my life is so messed up." They were all silent for a while, but then Alli broke the silence. "Who is he?" I took a deep breath. "Nolan." Both Alli and Harry's eyes widened. "Why did you answer the phone?" "I don't know but now I'm scared." "Will you tell us?" said Harry. "I'm going to tell Alli then she can tell the rest of you." I whispered everything into Alli's ear, her eyes getting bigger everytime. When I was done Alli was in complete shock. "Wow, okay." she told the story I could tell the boys were also in shock. Soon enough I was crying again. Harry and Alli came by my sides holding me, and hugging me. I couldn't take it anymore. I was done. I didn't want to deal with this anymore. "I can't take this anymore." Just then there was apparently another visitor to see me. He walked in. It was Nolan. I froze up, and Alli just sat there with her mouth wide open. I couldn't talk. "Nolan, what the hell do you want?" He gave a sick smirk. "Well, I payed good money to find where you to girls are. And I'm going to get what I want. I don't know if Adelaide told you what I said or..." "Yeah she told me... in fact she told ALL of us." He looked around the room at Alli and the boys. "Well Adelaide, we can either do this in privacy, do it right here right now, or I get to pick one of these boys to do it. Those are your options what will it be?" I couldn't answer the question, no I wouldn't. I just shook my head no. "I guess you want all three?" Alli was agitated. "She doesn't pick either, neither, whatever. Now GET OUT!" "Then I pick." Alli turned her head towards me. I whispered into her ear: "It's going to happen either way." There was already pain in my voice. "O-ok." I was shaking. "I pick..... option number two." He walked over to me and punched me in the face. “I think it’s time for you to leave.” Harry told him. “Go back to England!” he yelled back. He then proceeded. After he was done he cut his eyes at Harry. "Gee that was fun!" Then he left, leaving me lying there. I definitely was not going home anytime soon. Harry was the first to ask, “Adelaide, are you okay?!" I couldn't speak my mouth was too soar. I just nodded my head know. I made a motion that said write. Alli gave me pen and paper. I wrote-*note read aloud* Everything hurts, everything. It hurts to talk, and it hurts to move. I think I need to go home. I don't know how I’ll be able to do anything. I can't deal with this anymore.I passed it to Harry to read. They all helped me walk to the elevator, in fact, they just carried me. We got into the elevator and Harry carried me bridal style. When we got to the car, Zayn drove and Louis in the passenger seat. Me, Niall, Alli, and Harry were in the back. I layed down across the three since there was no more than 3 seats. On the way home, Harry stroked my hair. When we got to the building he carried me up to the room and into my bed. He kissed me on the forehead and then I went to sleep.
*Harry's POV*
I can't believe what just happened actually happened. That is my girlfriend. I should've done something other than telling him to leave. Now it hurts her to talk. "I feel so awful. All I did was sit there and let him do that to her. I promised her I wouldn't let anyone hurt her. She trusted me and I let her down." Alli looked at me. "No one is going to blame you Harry, Adelaide knew you were in shock. She knew that you didn't know what to do. Trust me Adelaide will forgive you." I gave her a slight smile.” I just feel like I should've done something." Alli smiled. "You did do something." "You carried her, you held her, you made her feel secure. He's the one that did all the wrong you should feel no guilt. You should go lay with her." I gave her another slight smile and walked into Adelaide's room. She was awake she heard everything I just said. I walked over and lied down next to her. I looked over to find bruises lining her body. "I feel like I let you down. I told you I would not let anyone hurt you and-" she cut me off by lightly kissing my lips. "You didn't do anything wrong. Now you know what he's like..." she smiled at me and put her head on my chest. I kissed her forehead and then we both drifted off to sleep.
