Two Faced

As we got out of the car I grabbed my brown back pack and I slung it on my back. As usual a crowd gathered around the car.

Oh no. I thought to myself as I watched people crowd around Harry. He caught my eye and winked at me before shrugging Nicole off completely before walking over to Niall, Liam and Zayn. I smiled to myself as I walked into school.

****At Lunch*****
I fidgeted nervously in the lunch line as I waited to see if Harry would walk through the cafeteria doors.

“Your ridiculous you know.” A voice said quietly in my ear.

I jumped and spun around nervously to see El grinning at me.

“El don’t you know better than to sneak up on a girl who is with a guy who gets every single female attention in the school? Seriously I saw the librarian looking at him earlier and she’s 63!”

El held her hands up in defence. “Jeez sorry.”

I bought my hand up to my face. “No I’m sorry I’m just stressing that’s all.”

“Its ok but from what I’ve heard all of the girls have gone into a manic.”

“Why?” I asked confused.

Eleanor shrugged. “Who knows? Only one way to find out though.” She shrugged her head slightly too where all the tables were filled with most of the school.

I sighed. “I know your right.”

“Of course I am!” Eleanor flounced jokingly.

Once we got our food we made our way to a free table next to the most gossiping table in the school.

Kelsey and Joseph soon spotted us and made their way over to us.

“I don’t believe it. Not Harry Styles.” A girl named Angie whispered behind me.

I turned. “Don’t believe what?”

“Apparently Harry Styles has a girlfriend or is ‘taken’ whatever the hell that means.” The Angie’s friend said. I think her name was Rebecca.

“What?” I asked completely shocked. He did not tell the school about us.

“I know right.” Angie said as if she knew what was going through my mind right now.

“Who is he seeing?” I asked nervously.

Rebecca shrugged. By now all two tables were tuned into the conversation. “Who knows all we know is that every girl who has flirted with today he has brushed them off and then he finally said that he was seeing someone else and was off the market.”

A warm feeling spread through my stomach and I had to bite my lip to hold back a smile.

“What a shame.” I replied full of undetectable sarcasm.

“What has gotten into him?” Nicole said dropping into her usual seat.

Damn I forgot if Nicole and Ruby weren’t trying to hook up with every guy in the school mainly my guy then they were here gossiping.

“Got into who?” a girl asked.

“Harry. He keeps saying he’s taken but he doesn’t go out with people!” Nicole raged. I had to turn away so she couldn’t see my grin.

“You know what. He keeps saying he’s taken but I bet that whoever he’s with won’t be able satisfy his needs for long.”

I felt like a rock was being slowly dropped into my stomach and I felt El stiffen beside me. What was Nicole planning?

I looked over at Harry’s usual table and there he was sitting on the table while talking to Niall. He saw me looking and sent me a subtle wink. I smiled quickly and then turned away ignoring the buzz that I got from seeing him. Suddenly my phone buzzed.

From Harry:
Craving your lips so bad right now

From Harry:
Oh my god I wanna kiss you.

I covered my cheeks with my hair as I felt them blush.

To Harry:
You kissed me this morning

From Harry:
I always want to kiss you

From Harry:
Even a second after we pull away from a kiss I just want to kiss u again.

To Harry:
Well from what I hear your currently taken

From Harry:
That travelled fast. Is it ok I said that? I only did because the girls were flirting with me and it just came out, I didn’t mention your name thou

To Harry:
It evolving you of course it travelled fast! And im ok with it anything to stop girls from flirting with you.

From Harry:
Now who’s the jealous one?

From Harry:
Not loving the way he’s looking at you thou

To Harry:
Still apparently you then, I told you nothings there.

From Harry:
I believe you x I better go though before people put two and two together. Xx

I smiled at the three xs in the text.

To Harry:
Ok see you after school.


“So then it’s decided there will be a bet against who can get Harry to bed first.” I heard Nicole announce I was drawn out of my texting faze with Harry.

“What?” I gasped standing up and walking to the table. El immediately got up and stood by my side. El is so loyal.

“Your heard us Julia.” Nicole said narrowing her eyes. “Whoever gets Harry into bed first wins? Everyone who is participating has to give £20 to the cause. So far 20 girls have.” But to my dismay a pack of girls from another table excitedly dropped their £20 onto the pile.

Feeling somewhat brave I reached into my pocket and grabbed my £20 note. “I’m in.” I said dropping it onto the pile.

Nicole looked livid. “And why would Harry even consider going anywhere near you?”

Usually a comment like that would be a massive ego drop but I remembered that Harry’s taken status was because of me giving me a new confidence.

“I think we both know I have the better chance here as it’s me who he takes home every day and my brother is his best friend so he hangs out at our house most of the time.” I shot back.

“Do you know who he’s going out with?” Angie asked eagerly.

“No.” I said shortly.

“Are you going to try Eleanor?” Rebecca asked.

“Oh no I have no chance.” She said cheerily.

We then went back down but just before the bell went I noticed that Louis wasn’t at the table. Making sure that Nicole and her little posy was watching me I walked slowly over to Harry’s usual table. He noticed me when I stood between his legs. His eyes widened drastically. I lent forward letting our cheeks brush.

“Is Nicole watching me?” I whispered into his ear.

“Angel everyone’s watching you.” He whispered back at me. I could practically hear his smile.

“Good.” I replied stepping back but not before running a hand down from his shoulder to just under his pec. “Let them.” Then I left swinging my hips knowing he was watching after me.

Once I got out of the cafeteria I let out a deep breath.

“Julia I can honestly say I am shocked.”

I turned and saw El grinning at me.

“I swear I thought she was going to explode. You were smooth very smooth.”

I laughed. “Thanks well I wanted to make the first move.”

From Harry:
What the hell was that?

To Harry:
You’ll see, whats the big deal?

From Harry:
You may off gotten me a bit turned on and I’m wearing black skinnies.

I laughed.

“What is it?” El asked.

I showed her the text quickly and she bursted out laughing.

To Harry:
Sorry!

From Harry:
You’re not sorry

To Harry:
Not at all



“What is your plan exactly?” Eleanor asked.

I shrugged. “It’s not really a plan more of a fun plan. I mean it gives me the excuse to flirt with Harry if I want to and it means I can scare off any hopeful candidates.”

“You’re not worried that he would actually sleep with someone else are you?” El asked worriedly.

I paused for a minute. Would he? “No.” I replied truthfully. “But still it means I can have my fun. I’ve never flirted with anyone before so this should be good.”

El laughed. “I have to say I’m loving this side to you.”

“Me too.”
