End of the world

Emily’s p.o.v

A few months had passed Louis is still in pain with his ribs but we can’t do anything about it since Damon beat Louis up he has been very quiet and won’t talk to Louis or anyone apart from Isabel the boys are happy that me and Louis are together but Connor and Damon aren’t they keep telling me it’s a mistake and that I shouldn’t be going out with him as the world is ended basically. I was sitting outside by myself it’s now November so it’s quiet cold but I like it, it relaxes me Louis came over to sit next to me wrapping his arm around me and putting a blanket around us.

“Hey what are you doing out here?” he said

“I needed to be alone it’s been a month now since Damon beat you up and he still won’t talk to me I feel like he is ignoring me I feel like it’s all my fault Lou he Is my only family left so why is he acting like he wouldn’t care if I died or not.” I said letting a few tears fall

“it wasn’t your fault or his really all that happened was he freaked out because he wasn’t sure on what happened he really cares about you.” He said

“Well he doesn’t act like it.” I said

“Everyone cares about everyone here even I care about Damon we do need to care about each other and protect each other as we are the on survivors left we need to work together and try and find a cure for this or at least just live our lives.” He said

“Wow a whole speech you were actually serious for once but you’re right though.” I said “I sometimes wish I could just get away from all of this.”

“So why don’t we.” He said

“What do you mean?” I said

“tonight we will get away just you and I we will just do whatever no talk about the apocalypse we will try to stay away from the zombie things and all that it will just be like a proper date just not fancy since we have not fancy clothes.” He said

“Ok we will.” I said we stood up and we went back to the RV as it started to snow.

“Wow in a few days this place will be beautiful because all the snow will be lying on the ground so it will be covered and will also be stunning since no one will be around. He said

“I know I have always loved the snow.” I said he picked me up bridal style and spun me around.

“What are you doing” I said laughing

“Just being mischievous.” He said

“But your ribs doesn’t it hurt.” I said

“Kind of but it Is worth it for to see you smile.” He said looking me in the eyes we both smiled at each other

“You know I love you don’t you.” I said

“Of course I do but did you know that I don’t like you.” He said

“what.” I said

“I said I don’t like you but I didn’t say I didn’t love you.” He said I laughed

“You’re so cheesy you know that.” I said

“But that is what you love about me admit i.” he said

“Fine I admit it.” I said we both leaned in and made out for a few minutes. It started to snow even more heavy and it was lying on the ground.

“Oh my god I’m so cold.” I said shivering

“Come here.” He said with his arms open I walked over to him and he pulled me into a tight hug I was still cold but this felt nice and it felt natural.” We should defiantly go inside.”

“Ok let’s go.” He opened the door and we walked in to all the boys and Connor and Lisa on the settees but again Damon wasn’t here.

“Where’s Isabel.” I said

“In the bedroom with Damon.” Liam said I walked over to their bedroom and knocked on the door.

“Come in.” Isabel said I opened the door Damon barged past me hitting my shoulder.

“Isabel why is Damon not talking to me.” I said sitting on the bed next to her.

“he is angry with you and Louis he doesn’t want Louis to hurt you he just wants to protect you that is why he lashed out but he just I don’t know it’s hard to explain.” She said

“ I know but why is he acting like he couldn’t care less about me about if I died or turned into a zombie that’s the thing did you see how he barged past me when I walked in.” I said

“he is being his stubborn self he will come around just give him a week at the most and if that doesn’t work force him to talk to you.” She said

“Thank you.” I said and gave her a hug I walked into the other room and I didn’t see Damon he must have gone outside Louis was on the settee so I sat down next to him and he put his arm around me so I put my head on his shoulder.

“Are you ok?” Louis said he can always tell when something is up

“Yeah I am?” I said

“You’re not I can tell.” He said

“So why did you ask me then?” I said

“Because I wanted to make sure?” he said

“So when are we leaving?” I whispered into his ear

“Just before sunset” he whispered back

“We will need to leave a note so they don’t freak out and think we are dead.” I whispered

“Don’t worry harry has us covered.” He said

“I can’t wait to leave I need a break from Damon’s moodiness.” I said

“Grab a bag of weapons in case ok and get ready it’s not that long.” He said giving me a kiss on the forehead as he stood up and went into the bathroom

Tonight is going to be amazing I have one of those feelings that tells me it will be fine.
