Coach Horan
Niall's POV
"Hey son.''My dad says as I walk over to him, Ali beside me. ''Hey dad. Um, this is Ali. She's new.''I tell him. ''Hi Ali. I'm coach Horan.''My dad says smiling at her. "Nikki!''My dad calls out. Soon after, Nikki comes running over to us. ''Hey Ali. Didn't know you had gym with me. Oh, um, Sir?''She asks after getting distracted.
''Let Ali borrow some gym clothes from you. I'm sure she didn't know she needed to bring any.'' He says. ''Okay. C'mon Ali.''Nikki grabs Ali's hand. She smiles at me before walking to the locker rooms with Nikki.
''So, Niall.''My dad says.''Are you..ya know..flustered by this girl?''He asks, smiling at me. ''A little.''I shrug gently. ''She seems nice.''He mumbles. ''She is.'' ''Is she your friend?''He asks. ''Yeah.. we have first class together..''I tell him. ''Don't let her get hurt..there's mean people here, and you know it.'' ''I won't..I promise.''I say and he smiles as he nods gently. ''Go get ready.''He says, patting my shoulder as I turn around.
I make my way to the boys' locker room and change into my gym clothes.
Ali's POV
"Girl, you're so lucky I have some extra shit today.''Nikki laughs as she waits on me to tie the shoes she let me use, along with the clothes. ''Yeah, thanks.''I smile gently. ''No problem, any thing for a friend.''She says.''You're my friend?''I ask, raising my eyebrows as I stand up. ''yeah. Me and Harry are..and Niall.''She says, pushing on my shoulder a little as we walk out the locker room.
"Niall is totally creeped by me. I know it."I mumble sighing a little. ''Niall's like..amazed by you. He told me.''She smirks. ''Oh.''I say as we approach the huddle of people in the middle of the gym floor.
''Okay, girls just do what girls do..and boys, no fighting. We're gonna have a day off.'' Coach Horan says. Every one splits up into their own little groups. A few loners, but then a few big groups.
''Looky here, Its the lesbian and her new BFF.''I hear Harry's voice laugh behind me. I turn to see him walking towards us.''I'm not a lesbian!''Nikki laughs as she hits his shoulder with her fist, hard. ''Ow.''He mumbles as he grabs his shoulder with his other hand. ''Bitch.''He adds as she smirks.
''Ali!''I hear Niall yell my name. It echos through the gym. I turn to see him running towards me. ''Hi.''I say as he finally reaches me. ''Hi.''He smiles at me. ''Oooh... Niall's gotta crush.''Harry laughs.''Shut up,Styles.''Nikki says laughing a little with him.
Niall just rolls his eyes as he grabs my wrist gently, pulling me away from them. ''What's wrong with you?''I ask him as he seems upset. ''Nothing, its just.. I know you think this is weird and all.. but just to let you know.. I'm your friend. I'm not trying to be so.. freaky and.. stalkish.. and flirty.. Just.. I'm your friend, okay?''He says, sounding nervous.
''I never said it was stalkish...or any of that other stuff.''I mumble.''I know.''He smiles gently. ''Just promise me..you're my friend too.''He whispers.''I am..''I nod and he nods back, smirking gently.
Where did that come from? I mean gosh, i didn't..think any of those things.
