Chapter One
Niall's POV
I lie in the bed, exhausted, with Kayla right beside me, holding on to my hand. Her breathing is beginning to sound more normal now. Her eyes shut tight as she lies there, quiet and completely still, as if she was dead, even though I know she's not.
"Kayla?''I mumble lightly.''Hmm?''I hear her hum. From the corner of my eye, I see her looking over at me. I look over at her too.A ''You okay, love?''I ask. She nods a little before rolling onto her side, her hand pressed against my chest.
"You look tired.''She whispers with a smirk on her face. ''My back burns..some one's fingernails went deep.''I mumble back. She rolls her eyes playfully before leaning in for a soft, gently kiss. She leans back a little. ''Well, you worked me hard enough, I wouldn't be surprised if I won't be able to walk in the mornin'.''She giggles a little.
''Hey, that's a perk of being with me, huh?''I wink and she just giggles some more, she's so damn cute. "I love you.''She sighs out.''I love you more.''I say.''I love you to the moon and back.''She says, smiling.''I love you to the sun and back..a million times.''I wink. She sighs as she thinks, but she looks at me and smirks.''I love you so much...is that enough?'' ''How bout.. I love to infinity.''I say.''And beyond.''She whispers.''For sure.'' I lean to her lips and softly kiss her.
If only..she knew...the things..that happened before..at least she knows..what happens after.
