Logan’s POV
Morning came way too soon. I remember watching Risky Business and then falling asleep but I don’t remember where. The next morning I woke up to someone screaming something really loud. I sat up and my eyes grew wide when I saw Jackie rushing out of the room in a bed sheet.

“OH MY GOD! YOUR NAKED! WHY ARE YOU NAKED?! YOU WERE NAKED AND YOU LET ME STAY IN THE SAME BED AS YOU?!?” Jackie exclaimed rushing out of the where the bedrooms were and out the door before anyone could explain.

I was about to ask why Jackie needed to leave so soon when she yelled a goodbye.

“See you guys later!” Jackie yelled rushing to the door.

“Wait, Jackie, let me explain!” Harry said coming out of the room.

I then looked to the see Harry in the birthday suit his mother gave him.

“FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PUT SOME GOD DAMN CLOTHES ON!” Jackie yelled and rushed out of the room.

“Um. . .” I started knowing this situation was completely awkward and threw my hands over my eyes.

“This isn’t what it looks like,” Harry said.

“Why don’t you go get some clothes on,” Louis said and then I turned around and noticed that Louis was behind me and I gave him a confused look through my eyes.

“Good idea,” Harry said and rushed off to his room and Louis looked at me sheepishly.

“What happened last night?” I asked.

“Um. . .You fell asleep on me during the movie and I believe you slept talked me into not leaving you,” he said rubbing the back of his neck.

“We didn’t. . .” I started hoping to god we didn’t.

I hadn’t slept talked in years. It was something that I grew out of once I got into high school. I was about to say something when Harry rushed out of the room and to our door. I then looked at Louis who shrugged his shoulder.

“I’ll get the story from him later,” Louis said.

“I’ll ask Jackie and then we can compare,” I said and smiled and laughed.

“Sometimes I wonder if you really are a nice person,” Louis winked and I just rolled my eyes and stood up grabbing my shoes.

“I am a nice person Lou,” I said, “I could the same about you. Taking advantages of sleep talking girls, all you had to say was that you wanted to cuddle and I would’ve gladly cuddled with you.”

Wait. Where was this flirting coming from? No I don’t need to flirt I am supposed to be focused on school. I needed to get out of the room before it got worse.

“Oh really?” Louis smirked and I felt my cheeks flame to a bright red color.

“Sorry I got to go,” I said, “Orientation starts in an hour and half. Got to go get ready.”

I then quickly rushed out of the room and saw Harry holding sheets with a frown on his face.

“Don’t look so sad Harry,” I said, “I’ll find out what the real story is.”

“We didn’t do anything I swear Logan,” Harry said.

“I know Harry,” I smiled lightly, “I’ll work on her I promise but. . .”

“But what?” Harry asked.

“I see you being a player, because I can tell that’s what you are or were, I stop helping,” I said and he shook his head vigorously.

“Deal,” he said and I nodded my head and then walked into mine and Jackie’s dorm to hear the shower running.

I figured I would talk to her after orientation and we could go grocery shopping for real this time. I walked into my room and decided to shower quickly and then I changed into some clothes. I figured that I wasn’t trying to impress anyone so I didn’t get too dolled up. I threw on a jumper, a pair of my brother’s old jeans that fit and rolled them up some because they were just too long on me. I threw my hair up into a messy bun after I blew it dry and brushed through it (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=83174213). I then shoved my things in a messenger bag making sure my key to the room was one of them. Once I was done getting things ready I saw that I had a half hour to get to where they were having orientation. I walked out of the room to see that Jackie had already left and I just shrugged my shoulders. I think she needed some alone time so I just let it go. I opened the door and I hit someone because I heard a groan. I quickly stepped out of the room and saw a boy with a buzz cut on the ground clutching his nose.

“Oh my god I am so sorry!” I exclaimed, “God this is like the third time I’ve caused someone bodily harm. Are you okay? Do I need to take you to the health center on campus to get checked out? Are you bleeding?”

I continued to ramble on and apologize but the guy on the ground was laughing as I was helping him up.

“So is this how you pick up guys?” he asked chuckling, “I have to let you know I have a girlfriend.”

I then blushed profusely from embarrassment.

“No I’m just the world’s biggest klutz in the world,” I said, “Logan Walters.”

“Liam Payne,” the boy said and shook my hand, “Where are you headed to?”

“New student orientation,” I said, “I transferred from UCLA.”

“Oh nice so you’re American,” he said smiling.

“What gave it away?” I asked, “The accent or being from UCLA.”

“I had an idea with the accent but the being from UCLA gave it away,” he said and I just laughed at this boy.

He had the same humor as me which was a nice change of pace.

“So are you a transfer or an orientation leader that can point me in the right direction?” I asked.

“Actually I’m your orientation group leader,” he said, “So I can personally take you to the right place.”

“Awesome,” I said.

As we headed towards the area where we needed to be, Liam and I got to know each other a bit better. I found out he was a music technology major and his girlfriend, whose name was Danielle, was a dance major like me. I was excited to hear that because that meant I would maybe hopefully have another friend. When we got to the group I had to laugh because Louis was standing there talking with Jon. When Liam and I walked up to the group Louis and Jon stopped talking and grinned.

“You could’ve told me this morning jerk,” I said sticking my tongue out at Louis.

“I wanted it to be a surprise Lo-Lo!” Louis exclaimed and I just rolled my eyes.

“Lo-Lo?” Jon asked looking at Louis.

“My nickname for her,” Louis grinned and I just shook my head along with Liam and Jon.

I hugged Jon and then went to go sit down next to a girl with pink ombre hair. I was completely jealous of her. One it looked good on her and two I wish I had the guts to do that for a little bit. I smiled at her and she grinned back at me.

“I’m Logan Walters,” I said getting the courage to talk to her, “and I really love your hair. I wish I was that brave.”

“Nice to meet you love,” she grinned, “Perrie Edwards and thanks if you ever want to do this let me know I can do it for you!”

“Really?!” I said shocked, “You barely know me.”

“We’re going to be great friends trust me,” she grinned, “I can just tell.”

I then giggled and we started getting to know each other. Before we could get into a real conversation Louis kindly interrupted us and we started orientation. Louis, Jon, and Liam all talked about things that were popular on campus and what we could do to have fun but Perrie and I were talking to each other quietly and getting to know each other. When we started for our tour of campus, I had found out that Perrie and I were a year apart in age, she graduated high school early and had one year at another college by her home, she was a music major, she was from South Shields, she had one older brother, she had a boyfriend named Zayn, and she was a very bubbly person. Orientation was pretty boring and I just wanted to leave so when it was lunchtime Louis, Jon, and Liam all said that since we were transfer students we were allowed to go because we were done. I was about to invite Perrie to eat lunch when Louis came up to us.

“Do you want to go get that coat now love?” Louis asked, “We can eat at the mall.”

“Sure,” I said, “Do you and Zayn want to come Perrie?”

“Actually Zayn isn’t hear just yet,” Perrie said, “He’s going to get in later tonight.”

“Oh,” I said, “Do you still want to come?”

“Sure why not,” she smiled, “Hi I’m Perrie.”

“You’re funny Perrie,” Louis grinned and Perrie laughed while I looked confused.

“Zayn and I met last year in a class,” Louis said, “I’ve seen Perrie over skype.”

“Oh,” I said.

“Do you mind if I invite other people love?” Louis asked and I shook my head no.

“Not really Lou,” I said, “I just invited Perrie.”

“Okay,” he grinned and then Liam, a girl with really curly hair who I was assuming to be Danielle because Liam had his arm around her waist, and a girl who was absolutely beautiful.

“Danielle, Eleanor meet my new best friend Logan Walters,” Louis said, “Lo-Lo meet Danielle Peazer, Liam’s girlfriend, and my friend, Eleanor Calder.”

“Nice to meet you,” I smiled.

“You too,” they said.

“To the mall!” Louis exclaimed and then grabbed my hand and dragged me ahead of the group while everyone just laughed.

I don’t know why but when I said hi to Eleanor something told me that there was something between her and Louis. The way she looked at him made me believe that they either had a past or they are currently dating and I don’t know why that bothered me so much but it did. I then made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t get attached to Louis. If I did it would just lead to another heartbreak and I definitely didn’t need that.
