You walked back and forth across the apartment because you were very nervous. Harry’s grandfather had a birthday and the whole family was going to be in his house. You wanted to make a good impression, because Harry was an important part of your life.
‘C’mon, [y/n]. Let’s go!’-He shouted from the kitchen.
‘I’m coming!’- You looked for the last time in the mirror.
‘You’re gorgeous!’-He said and grabbed your hand.
Along the way, you didn’t stop sighing and playing with your fingers.
‘Don’t worry, they’ll love you.’-He tried to calm you down.
‘I hope so.’-You smiled nervously.
Before you knock on the door, he looked at you and gently kissed your lips.
‘Hellooo!’ – Harry’s mother opened the door and smiled.
You settled down for a moment, but when you saw how many people were there, you froze.
‘Calm down and be yourself.They will understand why I fell in love with you.’-He whispered in your ear.
You went in the kitchen and introduced yourself to the others. When you went to his grandfather and wished him “Happy birthday!’ , he smiled and gestured to follow him.
‘Come with me, I want to show you something.’-He whisper in your year and you two went to a big room. It was filled with antique items and a huge collection of rods.
‘You have Hanon 170?’-You asked surprised pointing at the rod.
‘You like fishing?’-He said even more surprised.
‘I love it. My father and I spend every summer on a boat.’
‘That’s great but I brought youhere for something different. I want to talk with you.’
‘Okay.’-You said and your heart started beating really fast.
‘I want to tell me more about your feelings for Harry. He’s my boy and I don’t want you to hurt him.’
‘I… I‘ve never really told anyone how important he is for me. Falling in love with him is the second most wonderful thing in my life, the first one is our first meeting. It’s amazing how he was just a stranger and become really significant part of me.I wouldtaken that decisionagain and again.’
He pulled out a small box and handed it to you. There was a silver necklace with a rose and red gemstone in the middle.
‘His grandmother told me to give this to the girl that deserves my boy’s heart. You are real woman, kind and wonderful. Harry needs you and I believe that you’ll make him really happy.’
‘I don’t know what to say. Thank you so much!’
Someone knocked on the door, it was Harry.
‘Is everything alright?’
‘Yeah, we were talking about fishing.’- Harry’s grandfather smiled.- ‘Harry, she’s gorgeous. You two deserve real happiness.’
