"That picture was token about a year ago...a few hours before my life changed forever.''She says and stands up.I watch, but don't follow, as she walks over to the window, peeks out the curtains, then turns to some picture frames on the desk.

''I was seventeen.''Alison's voice carries through the room easily and perfectly. Just enough for me to keep along with her. ''My dad and my mom had been separated for about five years. But.. it all went down hill the day of that picture. My mom had received a letter from Nashville, where I once lived before.''She stops and turns around to me.

''My dad..was..taking my mom to court for abuse and sexual harrassment.''She whispers as she walks over. She stops and faces me as her shoulder leans on the wall, just like mine. ''He only done it because.. he thought.. she done those things to me.''She adds softly.''My mom figured I told him the lies...but they weren't lies. The sexual thing was, but my mom did get to rough with me. She would..jerk me by my wrist..push me against the wall.. I always hoped my dad, or some one, would find out the truth. Not even Haley knows.''

''So..I'm the only one that knows?''I whisper. She nods, her amazing blue eyes look up at me. ''I was too scared to tell you...but some how..it just all wanted out. I've never felt this way about this, so willing to tell any one. I guess I just trust you.. You're my friend, right?''Alison asks, her voice cracking. ''Of course.''I nod gently and she smiles.

''Can I ask..if it brings so much pain, then why is it hanging on the wall?''I ask as she closes her eyes, her head leaning on the wall. ''It reminds me of the truth.''She sighs before opening her eyes and grabbing my hands.

''Can you do something for me?'She asks.I nod.''Anything.''I mumble and she smiles gently before pulling me to the closet doors. Alison opens them and I'm surprised by what I see. Three suitcases. One is pink, blue and the other is purple.

''What...where's your clothes?''I say, raising my eyebrows. She points to the suitcases. Alison's hand move to my cheeks. She pulls me down to her level. ''Please..Harry.''She sighs out, her breath hitting my lips, temping me..

''Take me...some where...any where... just get me out of here..''She begs as she burns her eyes into mine. ''I can't. You're..parents..Haley..''I try to give reasons, but they fail as she shakes her head no a few times.''Please.I just need one friend. I need that to be you Harry, take me please..''She begs with pleading eyes and a gently half smile.

''Where do you wanna go?''I mumble, staring back at her. I carefully place my hands on her waists as she keeps hers on my cheeks.''Any where..as long as I'm with you.''She whispers.

I can't take her away from here. She'll be leaving her mom, dad, and her best friend. Her job. her friends at work. All the people she's gotten to know.

But yet, I can't leave her. What if she visits her mom? What would she do to Alison? What about her father.. I don't know what kind of people I would be leaving this girl with. I can't let her stay. But yet, She doesn't need to leave.

"Harry...Please. I don't want your money. I'm not into you because of who you are. But please just give me this chance, no one else has or will offer me this. You are my ticket to paradise, where ever that might be. But Harry, I need this.Please. You can trust me. I'll tell you anything about me that you want to know.I promise we can get to know each other better but you have to do this for me..p-please.''Alison's words sink into my skin and heart as she slowly and carefully says each one, allowing it to sink deep and keep me grounded at the bottom of the ocean.

But yet, I find myself answering her...
