Harry's P.O.V


As I drove Danni back to my place, she was just hugging her knees to her chest while tears fell silently down her cheeks as she stared out the window, sniffling occasionally at times. Just watching my baby girl be so broken made me want to go home, sit in my bathtub and bawl my eyes out, but I had to be strong, for her. So I tried to put my arm around her small, quivering figure to comfort her, but as soon as my arm moved in her direction, she screamed and flinched away from me and started to shake pretty violently as she looked at me with her beautiful light brown eyes. But when I looked into my baby's eyes, they weren't filled with there usual warmness, instead they were filled with fear, hurt, and were wide with fright as she looked around frantically, my poor girl was traumatized. "Danni, Danni look at me" I told her gently as I shook her shoulder lightly, she looked me right in the eye and stopped shaking a little, that's good. "Danni listen, whoever did this to you will not be getting away with it, trust me" I told her seriously but softly so I wouldn't scare her even more than she already is. Danni gave me a small, yet beautiful smile, but suddenly frowned and looked down "What's wrong baby?" I asked her concerned, and then she actually answered in a voice just a little louder than a whisper "Why me, Harry? Why does everything bad happen to me? And don't say its not true, because I know I'm a magnet for bad things to happen to me" Danni said sounding depressed, just hearing her say this made my heart throb, especially since its true that if something bad will happen Danni's the target, and its even more heart breaking to know that she has excepted that. "No Danni that's not true" I tried to say as convincingly as I could, but Danni's no idiot, she saw right through my lie "Harry don't try to reassure me, I know I'm jinxed" what she said next really shocked me though, "Why did Sam save me, I could have died a virgin and not have been raped today if everyone just let me go..." Danni trailed off quietly. I don't think I was supposed to hear that, but since I did...WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK. DANNI, MY DANNI TRIED TO KILL HERSELF!!! If Danni killed herself I would have no purpose in living anymore, because she's the only girl I will ever want. Ever. "Danielle promise me you will never leave me, promise me!" I told her sternly, she looked back over at me, her eyes widened with fear "Okay" she said scared, clearly frightened by me, fuck "Danni don't be scared of me, I just can't lose you" I said while reaching over to grab her hand, but she flinched away from my touch again "Please don't touch me, I don't want to feel anymore pain" Danni begged me, "Danni I wouldn't hurt you, you know that right?" I asked her frantically, "I know you wouldn't hurt me, but that Luke guy h-h-he..." she trailed off sobbing quietly, my poor angel, "What did he do baby?" I asked her softly, "When he threw me against the wall, right before h-he ermm, yeah he scratched my arm really hard so I would stop fighting against him" she said, her voice cracking several times. Luke! I knew it! He has had his eyes on Danni since she moved here, just like me, and the fact that fucking Luke took away her innocence made me want to beat the living shit out of him, over and over again. One, for hurting my girl because no one ever gets away with that. Two, he took her innocence away without thinking twice about it, when I would have taken it slow with Danni since I wanted to be her first, but Luke fucked that up too! "Danni baby let me see your arm, I promise I won't hurt it further" I said worried about what that fucknut could have done to my precious baby girl, "I trust you" she said with a half-smile, making my heart race as I returned her smile. Danni slowly lifted up her arm and winced as her arm was only a fourth in the air, that can't be good. "Danni I'm going to need to lift your arm up myself so I can see whats wrong with it, even if its painful, okay?" She nods hesitantly. I grab Danni's arm and gently lift it all the way into the air, trying to ignore the cries of pain coming from Danni, as I try to get a good look at her arm. When I finally see the scratches Luke gave Danni, they didn't look good at all. On the inside of Danni's right arm there were five deep, yet short lines oozing blood from Luke dragging his finger nails down Danni's arm hard. "Danni we need to get you back to my place so I can clean up your arm" I told her calmly even though her arm looked pretty bad. She nodded through her tears and gave me a real smile, even through all the pain she was in physically and emotionally. I smiled back and started to drive back to my house, over the speed limit.



Once we got to my house I hopped out of the car and jogged around the front of it to Danni's side to carry her inside. I scoop Danni up bridal style and gently jog her into the house, up to my room, and set her down on the bed.

"Okay, I'm going to go grab some stuff to clean your scratches, I'll be right back" I told her as I jogged into my bathroom and grabbed the stuff.

When I walked back into my room I saw that Danni wrapped herself in my blankets like a burrito, she's so cute.

"Are you cold?" I asked her as I walked back towards my dresser and grabbed some sweats and a t-shirt since Danni was only wearing the remains of her dress because Luke ripped it right off her body.

"A little" she said tiredly, she must be exhausted.

"Here take these and you can change into them when I'm finished cleaning your arm"

"Okay" she said and stripped down to her bra and panties.....damn she has a nice body

"Hey can you clean my arm now please, I'm kinda tired" Danni said, obviously catching me checking her out, shit.

"Oh yeah, sorry" I said blushing for getting caught, I look up at Danni to see her blushing and looking down, making me smile to know I have that effect on her.

Once I was done cleaning her arm, I gave her my sweat pants and t-shirt to sleep in. I was about to leave the room when I heard Danni speak, "Harry please stay with me" she asked in a small voice, I felt my heart beat pick up at her tiny request.

"Sure, anything for my princess" I said as I got in bed with her.

Danni snuggled up against my chest and right before she fell asleep, I heard her say "Don't leave me" and then she was out. "Never, I will always love you" I said as I kissed her head, I will always love Danni and no one can change that......
