Chapter Seven
"Ok.... all right I'll trust you" whispered Jake with a smile.
Then all three pairs of eyes were glued to me.
"What are we going to do Lynn?" Adri panicked.
"Ok so this is the plan, since the kitchen is literally right next to us" I pointed towards the door.
"Adri and Sissy?"
"Yeah?" the both chorused.
"Both of you go to the kitchen, escape from the backdoor and find help, alright?"
"Why aren't you going with us?" Adri eyes watered in fear.
"Look around you Adri... Innocent people are here, I can't just leave them here, I need.... No I have to help
them!" I whispered.
"Evelyn, always so selfless, one of many reasons why I love you" Adri smiled as she hugged me.
"Love you too, now go!"
"I'm not going to leave you here alone Lynn! You perfectly know that" Sissy protested.
"Sissy! Stop being so damn stubborn!" I hissed.
"This is a live or die situation right now! I'll be fine, I promise" I gave her a reassurance smile.
I was telling her the truth, and besides my mom forced me to take self-defense classes when I was younger. Because I was a very ignorant naive little girl I thought it was a waste of time. My mom just wanted me safe, she had, scratch that, HAS a lot of things in her hands with her career I nearly see her. It never crossed my mind that I would need self-defense... Thanks mom.
"I took self defense classes remember?"
"And she also has me" Jake chuckled.
"Yeah, that's what I'm worried about" she mumbled loud enough for me to hear but not loud enough for Jake to hear.
"Give me your money! Now!" One of the masked men yelled as he put the riffle on the cashier’s head.
I felt terrible for her... She looked so frighten and fragile, and around my age.
"Guys go! Get help please, escape while you can, I'll be safe,” I whispered as I pushed them towards the kitchens door.
"Ok, be safe, we'll be back in less than 20 minutes" Sissy kisses my head and left with Adri through the
kitchen.
"So... What now?" Jake whispered.
"I-"
"Oh look what we got here! A couple! How cute," one of the masked men taunted.
"L-leave us alone!" I stuttered
"W-why t-too s-scared n-now? A-are y-you s-scared?" he mocked me.
"Stop mocking me, you worthless bastard!" I hissed
"What did you say?" he taunted as he stepped closer to me.
And then another shot when off.
"See what happens when you don't listen to us?"
I froze, I couldn't move.
The girl fell to the floor, in a puddle of her own blood.
These guys weren't playing around.
The masked men who mocked me turn towards me and laughed evilly.
"You want to repeat that again princess?" his voice was so disgustingly raspy.
"Don't call me that!" I nearly puked by his words.
He grabbed my arms and pushed me towards the walls. He caressed my cheek. His hands felt so dirty and rough; my eyes started watering by the scent.
"Leave her alone you douche!" crap Jake why?
He turned around to face Jake, but kept his filthy hands me. I have my chance now! I quickly reached for the riffle and kicked him where it hurts him the most.
"Ah, you stupid bitch!" he groaned in pain as he fell to the ground.
"Are you ok? Did he hurt you?" Jake quickly said as he pulled me towards him.
"Jake I'm fine"
"Tommy!"
Tommy? That's... Uhm... A very badass name.
The man took off his masked and approached the masked man or should I say, Tommy, I couldn't help but noticed that the man looked so concerned about him. Like a lover? Is he gay?
"Dan, shut up! I told you not to call me that!" hissed Tommy
"Oh, right sorry Tommy" as he looked at the floor with so much hurt in his eyes.
Wow these guys are idiots.
"Stop standing there and get the money you pinhead!"
Wow pinhead nice (note the sarcasm)
"Right sorry boss"
Dan approached us and he didn't looked at all old, he looked so young. With light brown hair, and gorgeous hazel eyes, he looked about eighteen or nineteen. He was ho- wait what the he'll am I saying? This guy just murdered an innocent young girl and here I am, checking him out. Not only that but their can be a possibility that he is also gay!
"Leave us alone!" Jake barked as his gripped tighten around my waist.
Dan stopped; he smirked and looked at me from head to toe, and stopped at my chest. I can't believe I was
just checking this guy out! He's a pervert!
This story is one of the most confusing stories ever. With the flashbacks just being italic and then all the dreams. And now it's over, and i don't even know what to think right now. I'm kinda stunned and didn't realize this story was over. I feel like so much more could happen, like its unsolved, all our questions are unanswered. It's really confusing, but still a great book :)
