I was still a bit bewildered from the two boys. Shrugging it off, I proceed walking towards my destination. Once I was about a few steps away, I got my phone out with my free hand and dialed the number I was so familiar with. Someone picked up the phone, but I can hear was muffling noises, fits of laughter, and arguments with one another. Finally, after all the noise faded, she finally spoke.


"He- Suzzie Kaylen! Would you stop?!" Adri tried not to laugh.

"I'm sorry I just can't help it" I can only imagine what Sissy would be doing right now.

"Guys, I'm outside... About a minute away... Open the door?" I sighed.

"Alright we'll meet you outside" Adri chuckled.

"Bye Lynn!!!!" I heard Sissy yell before Adri hanged up.

~*Sissy's POV*~

"Ok so let me get this straight, Jake had no idea whatsoever that Harry was leaving back to England after summer?" Lynn nodded to me to continue. "And then when Harry was at your place, telling you why he had to go, all of a sudden... Jake burst into the house and calls Harry a pathetic, girlfriend stealing bastard?"

"Don't forget that he also technically called Lynn a whore" Adri tsked as she sipped some of her coffee.

"Pretty much" Lynn said defeated, looking down and playing with her thumbs. She always plays with her thumbs when she's upset.

"Well... As much as I hate to say this, I kind of do get why Jake is upset Lynn" I sighed.

Lynn quickly looked up at me wide eyed. "What? So you're taking his side?! What happen to you saying that he's trouble?!"

"Lynn calmed down" I hissed. "I'm not taking his side, all I'm saying is that, I know that you are trying to spend as much time with Harry before he leaves, but you do have a boyfriend Lynn" I sighed.

"And you haven't spend any time with him since the party, you practically ditched him for Harry" Adri agreed with me.

"I can't believe you two! Jake was drunk for crying out loud! You know how that makes me feel!" she retorted.

"Lynn don't forget that you also smoke and drank once or twice before" I tried to stay as calm as possible, but this girl is just so stubborn.

"That's not the point Suzzie!" she hissed. Now’s she's really mad.

"Lynn calm down!" Adri reached for her arm to comfort her, but Lynn snatched it away from her.

"No! Fuck off! I thought you were my friends!" she cried. "I thought you would understand this! But I was wrong!" she got up and storm off.

Adri and I looked at each other in disbelieve.

"Lynn wait!" I cried as I stood up and tried to reach for the door handle, but I was pulled back down to the couch. "Adri let me go?!" I tried to untangle her grip but she wouldn't budge.

"Suzzie, you know how she gets, we need to let her cool down" Adri said so calm, she wasn't even giving any force into her grip. "She's going to her house, Jake is still there waiting for her, and they need to talk."

"Yeah... Your right" I held my hands up defeated. "I just hope she's alright,” I sighed as slopped back down.

"When am I not right?" Adri smirked.

"Cocky much?" I smirked back.

"Maybe just a little," she winked.

"Okayy" I chuckled.

~* Jakes POV*~

Crap, it's already passed eight, and Lynn isn't here yet. I kept pacing around the house, I called her more than ten times, texted her more than ten times, but she won't answer any of them. I'm worried sick, what if she really did ran away? Or got murdered? O-or raped?! Calmed down Woods, stop thinking so negative.

I took out my phone and dialed Adri's number. After a few rings she finally picked up.

"Hello?"

"Adri... I-is Lynn there with you?"

"No, she left earlier, I thought she went back to her house?"

"Well she isn't here, I've been waiting for her, I'm so worried about her Adri" I chocked the last words.

"Hey, hey it's all right, I'm sure she's ok" she tried comforting me.

"It's passed eight Adri, she wont answer my calls, o-or my texts. She hates being in the dark, especially by herself" I ran a hand through my hair as I started pacing around the room again.

"She's probably not alone then? If she isn't here with me and Suzzie, and not with you, then I'm sure she's with ha-"

"Don't even say that,” I said throughout gritted teeth. Suddenly my worried phase became filled with anger.

"Whoa, Woods calm down would you?"

"I'm sorry, I'm just still a bit upset about him"

"I understa-"

"Wait I heard something, I'll call or text you if Lynn comes back ok? Bye" I shut my phone off as I heard the backyards gate creek open and shut. Tobi came down and started growling.

"C'mon boy, let's go see who it is" Tobi lead the way to the backyard. Everything was so dark, I slid open the glass door, and walked out with Tobi by my side. What I saw next just made my anger grow even more.

"Thanks Harry, I really appreciate what you did to me," she said as she gave Harry a hug and he returned it without hesitation.

"It's alright Lynn, remember what I told you? I'm always here for you, ready to catch you whenever you fall" he gave her one of those flirtatious smiles that just send me to the edge. I knew he was hitting on my girl, I knew he had a thing for her. That fucking bastard.

"I know,” she whispered as she kept her head on his chest, while Harry kissed her head.

Bastard! As if Tobi was reading my mind he ran off to them breaking the snuggle crap scene.

"Tobi!" Lynn squealed as she was surprised by his presence.

"Hey, boy nice to see you too" he chuckled as he pet the dog.

"Who let you out?"

"I did,” I said trying not to show any anger in my tone.

"J-Jake? What are you doing here?"

"Isn't obvious? I was here all day waiting for you, worried sick about you. Why didn't you answer my calls? Or my texts Lynn?" I said with a bit of anger.

"I was busy" she avoided my gaze.

"Oh really? Doing what exactly?" I demanded.

"Things ok?" she spat, still avoiding my eyes.

"Why won't you look at me?" I said while walking closer to her.

"Jake stop it!" she hissed. "Harry I'll see you tomorrow ok?"

"Ok, bye" he said as he made his way out.

"Lynn stop walking away from me! We need to talk,” I pleaded.

"I don't want to talk to you right now"

"Lynn please" I pleaded as I reached for her hands, but she snatched them away from me. "Babe, please just listen to me."

"No! Stop, I'm tired" she tried to make her way around but I stopped her. "Jake let me in!" she glared at me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say any of that Lynn, I was just angry," she avoided my eyes and kept her gaze glued to the grass. "We haven't spend anytime together Lynn, I thought I did something to you, you kept avoiding me all throughout the past weeks." I gently grabbed her chin to meet her brown eyes that take my breath away. "Lynn, whatever I did, to cause this I'm so fucking sorry." I whispered as I gently connected our foreheads together. "I didn't mean to call you a slut, o-or anything like that, I shouldn't have said that. I jumped into conclusions and I'm sorry." her eyes soften as she looked into eyes.

She kept staring into my eyes, in search of any lies. Once she found that I was telling her the truth, she wrapped her arms around my neck, holding me closer to her, and whispered in my ear. "Your such a stupid jerk" she smiled and kissed my cheek.

"So, does that mean you forgive me?" I couldn't stop the grin from showing.

"Yes" my grin turned into a big goofy smile. I hugged her body so close to mine, afraid that she might disappear if I let her go.

~*Lynn's POV*~


I was still upset with Jake; he was being a total jerk. Today I was meeting Harry at Starbucks again. I woke up by Jake's silent snores beside me. I quickly got out of bed and went to shower.

"Lynn?" my eyes shot open and looked at the sleeping body on my bed. He mumbled a few words and turned around. I sighed in relieve, I forgot that he sleep talks. I mentally slapped myself, and now my not so small dog jumped to my bed, and snuggled closer to Jake. I put my hair in a bun and quickly grabbed my things and went to go shower.

I looked at myself one last time and grabbed the doorknob. Suddenly, a scream filled my ears. "What happened?" I rushed to my bed.

"Y-your... Tobi was in bed... I thought he was you... And then-we-and he-and I" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"I seriously have no idea what you just said"

"I kissed him, thinking he was you!" he blurted out. Then he realized what he said and buried his face in his hands, clearly embarrassed.

My eyes were wide open in shock. I couldn't help but laugh. "Well, is he a good kisser?"

"Not funny Lynn" he mumbled in his hands.

"Ok" I giggled. "Well I'm going somewhere, so don't wait on me for breakfast"

"Wait, where are you going?" Jakes eyes shot open, directly towards.

"Somewhere, don't worry I'll be back around two"

"Lynn, why don't you want to spend time with me? We used to spend so much time together." I was off guard by his question. I didn't know what to say. He looked at me with sad eyes. His once sparkly blue eyes became darkened by sadness.

"I'll be back,” I whispered as I quickly left my room.

~*Harry's POV*~

I was patiently waiting for Lynn to come. We have only about two weeks left for school. My mum have informed me that instead of waiting the entire summer to go back home, we're leaving the next day after school is over. I tried persuading my mum to go at least in the middle of summer but she refused. It's not that I didn't want to go back home, god I miss my house so much! But I made incredible friends here, and Lynn... I don't want to leave her behind. We became such good friends, she's easy to talk to, and she trusts me. She told me all about her dad, the day of the party.



I was driving her back home; the entire drive was completely silent. I kept hearing her silent sobs as she looked out the window. Her eyes were locked on the sky, and then tears started swelling her eyes again. Once I parked outside her house I tuned to her.

"Lynn..." I began, but couldn't find the right words to say. I want to know why she was upset, was her dad dead? I was urgent to find out. When I finally open my mouth to ask, she spoke up. Like she knew what I wanted to ask.

"M-my dad and I used to lie on the grass and watch the stars." she whispered and turns to me. "He would always work outside of the state, so I really didn't see him as much as I would like" I was silent, listening to her, looking into her sad dark eyes. "Whenever he came back home, I would always set up the place to watch the stairs, and I would always wear the clothes or accessories he send me”

“I-Is he dead?” I blurted, fuck what the hell did I just said!? “Shit, Lynn I didn’t mean to say that… I-I I’m sorry, just ignor-“

“Harry it’s ok,” she a sad smile. “He’s not dead.”

“Wait what?! What do you mean he’s not dead? If he isn’t dead… then why are you so upset?” I asked completely bewildered by her reply.

“Because I miss being in a family with both my parents, I miss spending time with my dad,” she was quiet for a while.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I was in deep thought. I don’t understand, if he’s not dead, then where is he? Why isn’t he here with Lynn? She then continued, breaking my thoughts. “He started drinking when I was six, I didn’t know why he started drinking, my six year old mentality didn’t had a clue why. I was scared because he and my mother started fighting, I was so confused.” She sniffled and looked ahead, while I kept my gaze locked on her features. “I was confuse because, we were so happy, we were a happy family, they rarely fought, and when they did, it was just arguments on either what to eat, or who is going to pay the bill.”

“I don’t understand Lynn”
She ignored me and began her story. “But now I know why, I know why he turned to alcohol, I know why he fought with my mother that day, That fucking bastard was cheating on my mother for more than six fucking years. His stupid lover left him.”

“W-what!?” I was so shocked, he cheated? That sounds so surreal, she described him as a lovable, caring father, everything that my father wasn’t.

“Its actually quite funny how I am crying over him, when he clearly doesn’t gives two shits about me” she laughed humorously. “ He left and is never coming back, he never called me, and he stop sending me clothes and accessories. Once he left through that door, I knew he wasn’t coming back, I screamed his name, I ran after him. I tugged on his pants begging him to stay. “ Daddy, daddy please don’t go, please I promise to behave, I promise to do my homework, I promise to pick up dollies when I finish playing. Daddy please” I kept begging but he didn’t even stop, he kept going. He didn’t even glance at me. I still remember what he told me after ten years, “I’m sorry, I’ll see you one day” and he left inside his car and drove of. I kept running after him, falling over my feet, my legs were scrapped, but I didn’t care, I wanted my dad, I kept running. Ignoring my mothers screams to come back.” She was shacking from crying, but I couldn’t do anything, I was frozen, shocked. “ I guess I just really want my childhood back..,” she sobbed.



“Sorry I took long” Lynn came out nowhere, she smiled warmly at me. But her gorgeous smile faded as she looked at my emotionless face. “Harry? What’s wrong?” he asked worried.

“Lynn, there’s something I have to tell you”
