It Never Ends

I wake up with Alex sleeping in my arms.I look down at her wrist and see bruises.The memories of last night flood back to me and I cringe.That bastard kidnapped her and chained her.

I softly rub my thumb over the bruise, which makes her wake up.

"Goodmorning." She says.

"Good morning baby."I reply."We should get ready we have to go to the police station soon."She nods and untangles herself from me. Once she is ready, I drive us over there.

We get taken into Officer Gomez's office and wait for him.

"Its okay, your okay now."I tell her, just before he came in.

"Hello, Alex, Micheal.Now Alex, your going to have to give me your official statement.She nods as she goes into detail about what happened last night.The way he wraped his arms around her and at first she thought it was me, but she knew my touch.That made me smile a bit, that she knew my touch.But I scoweled once I think about what that bastard did.

"So, I'm assuming you want to press charges."He asks.

"Of course we do." I say.

"Well.."
