Summer '09
The Signing and More.
We all looked at each other in confusion. Finally Vanessa spoke.
"Dibs if he's hot." We all laughed.
"Let's go back to tell the boys we're going to be running the signing." Kylie said.
"They probably already know." I stated. So much for no more One Direction. Now I don't just have to make sure I keep my hands off of them I have to keep their hand of of them. That's confusing. Ignoring me, the girls trotted off to the boys' dressing rooms. I stayed behind and decided to help set up. I put up the tables. Made sure all the posters were up. I put baskets down for their gifts. The put some water bottles into a cooler and put pens on the tables by each chair. This was going to be a long day.
"Almost didn't recognize you without a tight black dress on." I turned around and saw Nate leaned on the door frame.
"Nobody likes a stalker Nate." I smiled at him and continued to work.
"I'm not stalking you. I'm Tanners nephew. Here to help with some signing thing."
I froze.
"Your Tanners nephew?!"
"Yup." He said popping the p.
"Wow."
"Sorry for the disappointment."
"No, no it's not I just can't see how you two are related."
He laughed and started helping me do stuff.
"So this is where you work?"
"It's just a summer job. Do you help you uncle often?"
"Yea but I'm not a huge fan of this One Direction."
"I didn't think you would be. Most guys aren't."
"Are you?"
"Would you hate me if I said yes?" I blushed. He laughed.
"No not at all. We should probably get the guys out here before the fans burst though the doors." I nodded and we walked towards the dressing rooms. I walked in first and saw all the guys lounging around. Kylie was on Zayns lap. Guess their a couple now. I don't even care. Not at all. Nope, not caring a bit. Somehow through my stupid mind I did care because the next thing I knew I was hand in hand with Nate.
"Yo, Nate!" Niall got up and bro hugged Nate.
"What's up Nialler?" Nate let go of my hand. Talk about rejection.
"You ready to wait hand and foot on me... Again?" They all bursted out laughing. Well... This is awkward.
"Boys we should probably get out there." I announced trying to sound professional. They all nodded and got out of the room. We walked back to the signing room. All the boys took their seats and got comfy. I stood behind them (at a distance) and made sure there was no touching. All the boys fidgeted with their pens.
The doors opened and in came a whole bunch of screaming teens. Luckily Paul got them into a line. One by one the fans got autographs and gave the boys presents. It was hard to keep up with them. Suddenly a fan caught my attention. She was dressed up as a giant carrot. Strange. She waddled over and gave them all nerd guns. Talk about dedicated. They began shooting each other and goofing off. Louis shot Harry and he began to whine.
"Lou! You shot me in the eye!" He pouted.
"I is sorry Hazz. I shall make it better." He grabbed Harry's face and began leaning in. This is where I come in. Think fast. I put my hand in between their faces. Louis kissed my hand.
"None of that. Now get back to your seats." As soon as I said that the carrot dressed girl came charging at me. Somehow she got over the table.
"LARRY STYLINSON FOREVER!!!" She screams. Right as she was about to jump on the I got pulled back by my wrist. Nate brought me into the back room.
"Man, those fans are crazy. Are you okay?"
"Yea, you should get back out there and help." He nodded and left. As he opened the doors I could hear the chants of Larry Stylinson. The door shut and it was quiet again. That was so weird.
